Underground labyrinth on the Giza plateau. Ancient cities under the Giza desert. In the underground workshops tireless work is in full swing. Any metals are melted there and products from them are forged. In unknown chariots or other perfect devices, underground inhabitants rush

In order to fully master the information encoded in biblical texts, it is important to understand the true scale of the underground tunnels and the grandeur of the underground chambers connecting with them under the plateau of the Giza Pyramids, since it was here that the basic elements of the teachings of the Secret School were developed. What happened under the sands thousands of years ago is not recorded in modern history books, and the discoveries made over the past eighty or so years only confirm this fact.

The area around the Fayum oasis, located a few kilometers from the city limits of Memphis, is an area of special interest. It was here, in a flourishing and fertile valley, which the pharaohs themselves called "royal hunting grounds", they fished and hunted using a boomerang. Lake Meurice once bordered the Fayum oasis, and on its shores was the famous Labyrinth, called by Herodotus "an endless miracle for me." The labyrinth included 1500 rooms and the same number of underground chambers, which the Greek historian was not allowed to explore. The priests of the Labyrinth said that it was intricate and difficult to pass, and was created in such a way as to protect the countless scrolls stored in underground rooms. The grandiosity of the buildings struck Herodotus, and he spoke with great reverence about what he saw:

“There I saw twelve palaces, standing one after the other and interconnected by terraces built around twelve halls. It is hard to imagine that they were built by human hands. The walls are decorated with bas-reliefs of figures, and each platform in front of the palace is skillfully paved with white marble and surrounded by a colonnade. Near the corner where the labyrinth ends is a pyramid, two hundred and forty feet high, with majestic animal figures carved in stone, and with an underground passage through which it can be entered. I was confidentially informed that underground chambers and passages connected this pyramid with the pyramids in Memphis.

The pyramids at Memphis were the pyramids at Giza, since Giza was originally called Memphis. On Nordan's map in Travels in Egypt and Nubia, 1757, it is marked as "Giza, formerly Memphis."

Many ancient writers confirm the existence of the underground passages mentioned by Herodotus that connected the great pyramids, and their evidence casts doubt on the veracity of the history of Egypt in its traditional presentation. Crantor (300 BC) claimed that there were some columns or pillars, on the stone of which were carved records of prehistoric times and showed the communication routes between the pyramids. Iamblichus, a Syrian representative of the Alexandrian School of mystical-philosophical teachings, who lived in the 4th century, in his illustrious work "On the mysteries, especially of the Egyptians, Caledonians and Assyrians", left the following entry about the corridor that passed inside the statue of the Sphinx and led to the Great Pyramid:

“This entrance, covered today with sand and debris, can still be found between the front paws of a colossus crouching to the ground. Previously, it was closed by a bronze gate, the secret spring of which only Mages could open. He was guarded by human servility, akin to religious fear, which guaranteed immunity better than armed guards would. Galleries leading to the underground part of the Great Pyramid were laid in the belly of the Sphinx. These galleries were so skillfully intertwined on the way to the Pyramid that a person who penetrated the dungeon without a special guide would incessantly and inevitably find himself again at the entrance.

It was recorded on ancient Sumerian cylinder seals that the Anunnaki's secret hideout was "a place underground...where a tunnel led, the entrance to which was covered with sand and what they called Khuvana...with teeth like a dragon, with a face, like a lion." This revealing old text, which has come down to us, unfortunately in fragments, further tells that "he (Khuwana) cannot move forward or backward", but they climbed on him from behind, and the way to the Anunnaki's secret refuge was opened. The Sumerian report might well fit the description of the Sphinx of Giza, with a head like that of a lion; and if this great creation was built to hide and preserve the ancient staircase and secret passages leading to the underground structures below and around it, then in this case the symbolism is quite consistent with the plan.

Local Arabic tradition of the 19th century testifies that the secret rooms under the Sphinx hide treasures or magical objects. This version is confirmed in the writings of the Roman historian of the 1st century AD. Pliny, who wrote that deep under the Sphinx is hidden "the tomb of the ruler named Harmachis (Garmarchis), which contains countless treasures", and, oddly enough, the Sphinx itself once called the "Great Sphinx Harmachis, standing guard since the time of the Followers of Horus ". The 4th-century Roman historian Ammianus Marcellinus also claimed the existence of an underground crypt that opened onto the inner chambers of the Great Pyramid:

"The writings, as the ancients pointed out, were carved on the walls of some underground galleries and passages, built deep in the darkness underground, in order to preserve the wisdom of the ancients from the bloody flood."

A manuscript written by an Arab writer named Altelemsani and kept in the British Museum speaks of the existence of a long, wide underpass between the Great Pyramid and the River Nile, with a strange device blocking the entrance from the river. He refers to this episode:

“In the days of Ahmed Ben Tuloun, a group of people entered the Great Pyramid through a tunnel and found in a side chamber a glass goblet of rare color and texture. When they left, they didn’t count one, and when they went in search, he suddenly came out to them naked and said laughing: “Don’t follow me and don’t look for me,” and quickly disappeared into the Pyramid. His friends realized that he was under some kind of spell.”
While studying the strange happenings under the Pyramid, Ahmed Ben Tuloun expressed a desire to see the glass goblet. During the inspection, the goblet was filled with water and weighed, then emptied and weighed again. The historian wrote that "it was found that it weighed the same both empty and filled with water." If the observations are genuine, then this lack of weight indirectly confirms the existence of advanced scientific knowledge at Giza.

According to Masudi (10th century), mechanical statues with amazing abilities guarded the underground galleries under the Great Pyramid. Written a thousand years ago, this description can be compared to robots from modern science fiction films about space. Masudi said that automatic robots were programmed for the strictest control, as they destroyed everyone "except those who, by their behavior, deserve to be admitted." He stated that "the written formulas of the Highest Wisdom and the foundations of the various arts and sciences were carefully hidden and guarded so that they served in writing for the benefit of those who would later be able to comprehend them." This is unique information, and it is possible that, since the time of Masudi, "worthy" people have seen the mysterious underground rooms. Masudi admitted: "I saw something that is impossible to describe without being afraid that you will be considered crazy ... And yet I saw it."

Another author of the same century, Muterdi, left a report of a strange incident in a narrow underground corridor near Giza, where a group of people were frightened by the sight of the death of one of them, crushed by a stone door, which suddenly slipped out of its own accord right out of the passage and blocked the corridor in front of them.

Herodotus spoke of the Egyptian priests, who, according to tradition, recounted to him ancient legends about the "system of underground living quarters" designed by the real creators of Memphis. Thus, in the most ancient records, it was assumed that there was something like a widely branched system of underground structures under the surface of the entire area around the Sphinx and the pyramids.

These data, which have come down from the past, were confirmed during seismic surveys conducted in this area in 1993: significant voids were found underground. This discovery resulted in the filming of a documentary called "The Riddle of the Sphinx", which was seen by 30 million NBC viewers in the same year. The existence of shelters under the Sphinx is well known. The Egyptian authorities received another confirmation of the discovery in 1994; the found voids were mentioned in a newspaper report under the heading "The Mysterious Tunnel in the Sphinx":

"The workers who carried out repair work on the "recovery" of the Sphinx, they discovered an ancient passage that goes deep into the body of a mysterious monument.

The director of the Giza Museum of Antiquities, Mr. Zahi Hawass, said that there is no doubt that the tunnel is very old. But who, I would like to know, built it? For what purpose? And where does it lead?... Mr. Hawass said that it was not his plan to move away the stones blocking the entrance. The secret tunnel goes to the northern part of the Sphinx, approximately in the middle between the outstretched paws and the tail.

The well-known idea that the Sphinx is the real main entrance to the Great Pyramid retains an unusual vitality. This belief is based on hundred-year-old maps drawn up by members of the Masonic lodge and the Rosicrucian Order, according to which the Sphinx was an ornament crowning an underground hall connected to all the pyramids by radially divergent corridors. These plans were drawn up on the basis of information actually found by the alleged founder of the Rosicrucian Order, Christian Rosicrucian, who allegedly penetrated into a "secret chamber underground" and found there a storehouse of books containing secret knowledge.

Schematic drawings have been copied from archival documents owned by the secret school prior to the sand-cleaning work that began in 1925, revealing hidden entrance doors to long-forgotten auditoriums, small temples and other outbuildings.

The knowledge of secret schools was backed up by a number of outstanding discoveries in 1935, which provided evidence of the existence of additional passages and rooms that literally permeated the area where the Pyramids were located. The complex at Giza indicated, with all its essential components, that it was not built by chance; its single structure, including the Sphinx, the Great Pyramid and the Temple of the People of the Sun, connected its underground and terrestrial parts into an inseparable whole.
The rooms and tunnels discovered by the ultra-modern seismograph and special radar equipment that allows you to look under the surface of the earth have provided an opportunity over the past few years to correct the accuracy of the existing plans. Egypt is also successfully using the latest satellite equipment to detect underground objects in the Giza region and elsewhere.

A new search system was installed on the orbiting satellite in 1998, resulting in the precise location of 27 previously unexcavated objects. Nine of them are on the east bank of Luxor, the rest are in Giza, Abu Rawash, Saqqara and Dashur. Printouts of detector devices from the Giza region show a simply mind-boggling number of tunnels and underground rooms resembling a network and crossing the territory along and across the territory, intertwined with each other like lace, and spreading across the entire plateau. With the help of a program of research from space, Egyptologists are able to determine the location of the main object, the likely entrance and the size of the premises before excavation. Particular attention is paid to three main sites: a site in the desert a few hundred meters west - southwest of the original location of the Black Pyramid, around which a colossal system is currently being built concrete walls seven meters high, enclosing an area of eight square kilometers; the ancient path that connected the Luxor temple with Karnak, and the "Road of Horus" passing through the north of the Sinai Peninsula.

From the headlines

The traditional teaching of the mystics or members of the Egyptian secret schools explained that the Great Pyramid was great in many ways. Despite the fact that the pyramid was closed before 820 AD, representatives of the secret teachings in pre-Christian Egypt claimed that its interior was well known to them. They constantly emphasized that this building is not a grave and not some kind of crypt, although there is a special room for a symbolic funeral ceremony as part of the initiation ritual.

According to the tradition of the mystics, they entered the interior gradually, moving from level to level, through underground corridors. There was talk of the existence of different chambers at the end of each level as they progressed, and the highest stage of the initiation ritual, representing what we now call the Royal Quarters.

Little by little, the traditions of the secret schools were checked against the results of archaeological discoveries, and, finally, in 1935, confirmation was obtained of the existence of an underground communication between the Sphinx and the Great Pyramid, as well as the fact that the tunnel connected the statue of the Sphinx with the ancient temple located on its southern side. (called today the Temple of the Sphinx).

As Émile Baraise's epic 11-year project to remove sand and seashells from monuments drew to a close, amazing stories began to surface about the discoveries made during the cleaning works. A journal article written and published in 1935 by Hamilton M. Wright told of an extraordinary find in the sands of Giza; its authenticity is now denied. The article was backed up with original photographs taken by Dr. Selim Hassan, the author of the discovery and head of the Cairo University Research Party. It said:
“We have found an underground path used by the ancient Egyptians 5,000 years ago. It passed under the paved road that connected the second Pyramid and the Sphinx. It makes it possible to pass under the ground "pavement" from the Pyramid of Cheops to the Pyramid of Khafre. From this underground passage, we managed to free a whole series of shafts from the ground, which went to a depth of more than 125 feet, and the spacious platforms and side rooms adjacent to them.
Around the same time, international news channels gave further details of the find.

The underground passage system was originally built between the Great Pyramid and the Temple of the Sun People, as the Pyramid of Khafre is a later addition. The underground path and associated rooms were cut into a huge monolithic bedrock - a truly supernatural thing, given that the construction was carried out thousands of years ago.

There is a continuation of the story about the underground chambers of Giza, as press reports told of the excavation of an underground passage between the Temple of the Sun People on the plateau and the Temple of the Sphinx in the valley. This underpass had been cleared from the ground several years before the publication of this above-mentioned newspaper article.

The discoveries made have led Dr. Selim Hassan and others to believe and publicly declare that since the age of the Sphinx has remained a mystery since ancient times, it may have been part of a great architectural design that was meticulously designed and executed in connection with the construction of the Great Pyramid.

Archaeologists at the same time made another major discovery. About halfway between the Sphinx and the Pyramid of Khafre, four huge vertical shafts, each eight feet wide, were discovered leading straight down through the limestone. On the maps of the Freemasons and Rosicrucians they are called "Campbell's Tomb"; and "this shaft complex," said Dr. Selim Hassan, "ended in an impressive chamber, in the center of which was another shaft, descending into a spacious courtyard, around which were seven side rooms." In some rooms were huge, 18-foot-high, tightly closed sarcophagi made of basalt and granite. The next discovery was that in one of the seven rooms there was another, third in a row, vertical shaft, which led to a room located deep below. At the time of discovery, it was flooded with water, which almost hid the only white sarcophagus.

This chamber was dubbed the "Tomb of Osiris" and its "first opening" was shown in a fabricated television documentary in March 1999. Although Dr. Selim Hassan, who actually examined the chamber, wrote:
“We hope to find important monuments after we pump out the water. The final depth of this series of shafts is more than 40 meters (125 feet) ... In the process of clearing the southern part of the underground path, a very beautiful head of the statue was found, with extremely expressive features.

According to one of the newspaper reports of the time, the statue was an excellent sculpted bust of Queen Nefertiti and was called "a fine example of this rare art form, discovered during the reign of Amonhotep." There is no information about the current whereabouts of this masterpiece.

The message was also devoted to other chambers and rooms under a layer of sand, connected to each other by hidden ornate passages. Dr. Selim Hassan pointed out that not only the inner and outer courtyards were found, but also a special chamber, which they called the "Hall of Offerings", carved into a huge rock outcrop, between the "Campbell's Tomb" and the Great Pyramid. In the center of the chapel were three richly decorated vertical columns standing in a triangle plan. These columns are the most revealing find in the entire study, as their existence is mentioned in the Bible. The conclusion is that Ezra, who was chosen to write the Torah (circa 397 BC), knew the layout of the underground passages and shelters of Giza before writing the book. It's underground architectural solution, may have inspired the triangular arrangement around the main altar in the Masonic lodge. Josephus Flavius in "Antiquities of the Jews" (1st century AD) wrote that Enoch, for the glory of the Old Testament, built an underground temple, which consisted of nine rooms. In a deep crypt inside one of the rooms with three vertical columns, he laid a triangular golden tablet with the true name of the Deity (God) inscribed on it. The description of Enoch's buildings was identical to the description of the "Hall of Offerings", located under a layer of sand a little to the east of the Great Pyramid.

A reception room, more like a burial chamber, but "undoubtedly intended for receptions and initiations," was discovered up the plateau towards the Great Pyramid, at the upper end of the sloping tunnel; it was carved deep into the rock on the northwest side of the "Hall of Offerings", between the hall and the Great Pyramid. In the center of the room stands a twelve-foot-long sarcophagus of white Tyrian limestone and a collection of fine alabaster vessels. Dr. Selim Hassan's report describes other elaborate carvings and many beautiful colored frescoes. Photographs were taken, and one of the research authors, Rosicrucian H. Spencer Lewis, recorded that he was "deeply moved" by the vividness of the images. It is not known where these unique pieces of ancient art and relics are today, but there were rumors that they were smuggled out of Egypt by private collectors.

Further details, with a few exceptions, were contained in a report by Dr. Selim Hassan, published in 1944 by the Cairo State Press under the title "Excavations at Giza" in 10 volumes. However, this is only an insignificant fragment of true information about what is actually hidden by the sands in the area of the pyramids. IN Last year diggers stumbled upon the most amazing discovery, which literally stunned mankind and which was trumpeted to the whole world by the international media.

The archaeologists who made the discovery were "baffled" by their find and claimed they had never seen such a wonderfully planned city. There are many temples, pastel-colored peasant huts, craft workshops, stables and other buildings, including the palace. Along with other modern amenities, the city has a perfect drainage system, including a hydraulic underground water supply. This discovery raises an intriguing question: where is this city today?

The secret of its whereabouts was recently revealed to a select group who received permission to explore and film the city. It exists within a vast, extensive system of natural caves under the Giza Plateau, which radiates eastward under Cairo. Its main entrance starts inside the statue of the Sphinx with steps carved in stone that lead to a lower cave under the stone bed of the Nile.

The expedition, equipped with generators and inflatable rafts, descended and sailed along an underground river to a lake a kilometer wide. City buildings nestled along the shores of the lake, and constant lighting was achieved with the help of large crystal balls fixed in the walls and ceilings of the cave. The second entrance to the city was through discovered steps leading up under the foundations of a Coptic church in Old Cairo. Based on the stories of the people "who lived on the earth" given in the books of Genesis and Enoch, it is very possible that the city was originally called Gilgal.

The chronicle of the expedition was filmed and a documentary called "City in the Abyss" was made, which was subsequently shown to a narrow audience. Initially, the chronicle was planned to be released on the big screen, but for some reason the show was canceled.

A multifaceted spherical crystal object the size of a baseball was brought to the surface from an underground city and its supernatural properties were demonstrated during a recent conference in Australia. Deep inside the monolithic object, the various characters slowly flip like pages of a book when they are mentally requested by the person holding the object. This amazing item, which uses forms of technology unknown to us, was recently sent for research to NASA, USA.

Historical documents show that during the twentieth century. many sensational scientific discoveries have been made in the region of Giza and mountainous Sinai, not to mention today; and even rumors spread in Egypt about the discovery of another underground city and many others in the 28-kilometer zone around the Great Pyramid. In 1964, more than 30 huge multi-level underground cities were discovered in the ancient Turkish kingdom of Cappadocia. One such single city, consisting of caves, rooms and corridors, consisted, according to archaeologists, of at least 2,000 apartment buildings, in which from 8,000 to 10,000 people could live. By their very existence, they prove that many similar underworlds lie under the surface of the Earth, waiting to be found.

Excavations at Giza have uncovered underground roads, temples, sarcophagi and one city with a perfect and ramified layout, as well as the possibility that the underground passages that connected the Sphinx statue to the Pyramids are another step towards understanding that the entire complex was carefully thought out and organized with a specific purpose.

Official denials.

In connection with the excavations of Dr. Selim Hassan and modern methods cosmic search on the one hand, and the legends and traditions of the ancient Egyptian secret schools, which called for keeping the secrets of the knowledge of the Giza Plateau, on the other hand, the passions around these events were heated to the limit. Be that as it may, the most striking aspect of the discovery of underground structures at Giza is the repeated denial of their existence by the Egyptian authorities and academic institutions. Their denials were so persistent that the precepts of secret schools began to be questioned by the public, believing that all this was falsified in order to intrigue tourists coming to Egypt. A typical example of the scholastic approach is the statement published in 1972 by Harvard University:

“No one should pay attention to the absurd claims regarding the internal structure of the Great Pyramid or supposedly existing underground passages and unexcavated temples and halls in the sands in the area of the Pyramids; they are distributed by adherents of the so-called secret cults or secret societies of Egypt and the East. These things exist only in the imagination of those who seek to attract seekers of all things mysterious, and the more stubbornly we deny the existence of such things, the more the public suspects us of deliberate concealment of what constitutes one of the greatest mysteries of Egypt. It is better for us to ignore such claims than to simply deny them. All our excavations in the area around the Pyramid have not found any underground passages or halls, no temples, no grottoes or anything of the kind, with the exception of one temple adjacent to the statue of the Sphinx.

Such a statement on the topic might well have satisfied schoolchildren, but in previous years it was officially announced that there was no temple near the statue of the Sphinx. The claim that every inch of the area around the Sphinx and the pyramids had been deeply and carefully surveyed was refuted when a temple near the Sphinx was found in the sand and soon opened to the public. It appears that for reasons outside of official policy, there is some hidden layer of censorship in place designed to protect both Eastern and Western religions.

“This entrance, covered today with sand and debris, can still be found between the front paws of a colossus crouching on the ground.

Ancient Sumerian cylinder seals recorded that the secret hideout was "a place under the ground ... where the tunnel led, the entrance to which was covered with sand and what they called Khuvan ... with teeth like a dragon, with a face like a lion." This illustrative old text, which unfortunately has come down to us in fragments, goes on to say that "He(Huvana) cannot move forward or backward, but they climbed on him from behind, and the way to the secret hideout of the Anunnaki was opened. The Sumerian report might well fit the description of the Sphinx of Giza, with a head like that of a lion; and if this great work was built to hide and preserve the ancient staircase and secret passages leading to the underground structures below and around it, then in this case the symbolism is quite consistent with the intention.

Underground vaults of treasures and ancient knowledge
Evidence from Roman and Arab Historians

Local Arabic tradition of the 19th century indicates that the secret rooms under the sphinx hide treasures or magical objects. This version is confirmed in the writings of the Roman historian of the 1st century AD. Pliny the Elder, who wrote that deep under the sphinx is hidden "the tomb of the ruler named Harmakhis (Garmarchis), which contains countless treasures", and even once called the Sphinx itself "The Great Sphinx Harmachis, standing guard since the days of the Followers of Horus". The 4th-century Roman historian Ammianus Marcellinus also insisted on the existence of an underground crypt that opened onto the inner chambers of the Great Pyramid:
"The writings, as the ancients pointed out, were carved on the walls of some underground galleries and passages, built deep in the darkness underground, in order to preserve the wisdom of the ancients from the bloody flood."
A manuscript compiled by the Arab writer Altelemsani, kept in the British Museum, reports the existence of a long, wide underground passage between the Great Pyramid and the Nile River, with a strange device blocking the entrance from the side of the river. He refers to this episode:
“In the days of Ahmed Ben Tuloun, a group of people entered the Great Pyramid through a tunnel and found in a side chamber a glass goblet of rare color and texture. When they left, they didn’t count one, and when they went in search, he suddenly came out to them naked and said, laughing: “Don’t follow me and don’t look for me,” and quickly disappeared into the Pyramid. His friends realized that he was under some kind of spell.”
While studying the strange happenings under the Pyramid, Ahmed Ben Tuloun expressed a desire to see the glass goblet. During the inspection, the goblet was filled with water and weighed, then emptied and weighed again. The historian wrote that " it was found that it weighed the same both empty and filled with water". If the observations are genuine, then this lack of weight indirectly confirms the existence of extraordinary scientific knowledge at Giza.

We can say that this mystery has been solved, because modern researchers have already made their conclusion - we are not the only inhabitants on planet Earth. Evidence of ancient years, as well as the discoveries of scientists of the 20th - 21st centuries, argue that mysterious civilizations existed on Earth, or rather, underground from ancient times to the present day.

For some reason, representatives of these civilizations did not come into contact with people, but still made themselves felt, and terrestrial mankind has long had legends and legends about mysterious and strange people who sometimes come out of caves. In addition, at modern people there is less and less doubt about the existence of UFOs, which have often been observed flying out of the ground or from the depths of the seas.

Research conducted by NASA specialists together with French scientists discovered underground cities, as well as an underground branching network of tunnels and galleries, stretching for tens and even thousands of kilometers in the Altai, the Urals, the Perm region, the Tien Shan, the Sahara and South America. And these are not those ancient land cities that collapsed and over time their ruins were covered with earth and forests. These are precisely underground cities and structures erected in a way unknown to us directly in underground rocks.

Polish researcher Jan Paenk claims that a whole network of tunnels has been laid underground that lead to any country. These tunnels are created with the help of high technology, unknown to people, and they pass not only under the surface of the land, but also under the bed of the seas and oceans. The tunnels are not just punched, but as if burnt out in underground rocks, and their walls are a solidified melt rocks- smooth as glass and have an extraordinary strength. Jan Paenk met with miners who came across such tunnels while driving shreks. According to the Polish scientist and many other researchers, flying saucers rush from one end of the world to the other along these underground communications. (Ufologists have a huge amount of evidence that UFOs fly out of the ground and from the depths of the seas). Such tunnels have also been found in Ecuador, South Australia, USA, New Zealand. In addition, vertical, absolutely straight (like an arrow) wells with the same melted walls have been found in many parts of the world. These wells have different depths from tens to several hundred meters.

The found underground map of the planet, compiled 5 million years ago, confirms the existence of a high-tech civilization.
For the first time, they started talking about an unknown underground people in 1946. This happened after the writer, journalist and scientist Richard Shaver told readers of the American paranormal magazine Amazing Stories about his contact with aliens living underground. According to Shaver, he lived for several weeks in the underworld of mutants, similar to demons, described in ancient legends and tales of earthlings.
One could attribute this “contact” to the writer’s wild imagination, if not for the hundreds of responses from readers who claimed that they also visited underground cities, communicated with their inhabitants and saw various miracles of technology that not only provide underground inhabitants of the Earth with a comfortable existence in its very bowels, but also giving the opportunity to... control the consciousness of earthlings!

In April 1942, with the support of Göring and Himmler, an expedition consisting of the most advanced minds of Nazi Germany, led by Professor Heinz Fischer, set off to look for an entrance to an underground civilization, supposedly located on the island of Rugen in the Baltic Sea. Hitler was convinced that at least parts of the earth consisted of voids within which one could live and which had long been home to the highly developed peoples of antiquity. German scientists, in turn, expected that if they could place modern radar devices at the right geographical point under the surface of the earth, then with their help it would be possible to track the exact location of the enemy in any part of the world. Almost every nation has myths about the race of Ancient beings that inhabited the world millions of years ago. Infinitely wise, scientifically advanced and culturally developed, these creatures, driven underground by terrible catastrophes, created their own civilization there, giving them everything they need. They don't want to have anything to do with people they think are mean, dirty, and wild. But sometimes they steal human children, then to raise them as their own. Ancient creatures look like ordinary people and live for a very long time, but they appeared on our planet millions of years before us.
In 1977, photographs obtained from the ECCA-7 satellite appeared in several American magazines, showing a regular dark spot, similar to a huge hole, in the place where North Pole. Identical photographs were taken by the same satellite in 1981, could this be the entrance to the underworld?
Who are the inhabitants of the underworld?

In the history of the planet there were many ice ages, collisions with meteorites, and other cataclysms that led to the disappearance of civilizations, the period between which cataclysms occurred is quite sufficient for the formation of a highly technical civilization.
Is it possible that some civilization could survive the "end of the world"?
Monsters or inhabitants of the underworld

Suppose that millions of years ago there was a high-tech civilization, during which there was a collision with a meteorite or another global cataclysm that changed the climate of the planet, what would the civilization do then, most likely would try to survive, and if the surface of the planet is not suitable for life and the flight to another planet is not allows the level of technology, only the "underground shelter" remains.
Then the question is, what happened to civilization and why, after the climate change, the underground inhabitants did not come to the surface?
Maybe they just couldn’t, constant stay in a different climate and different gravitation (gravitational pressure underground is significantly different from usual), in addition, it should be noted that there is no sunlight underground, technological lighting does not contain a full spectrum, and a long stay under technical lighting can also be the cause of "weaning" from sunlight.

Given that all this has been going on for millennia, it can be assumed that the underground civilization could have evolved greatly, it is even possible that a rejection of some aspects of the climate has developed, such as sunlight, it is possible that sunlight simply burns the inhabitants of the underworld, all this is not as fantastic as it seems. Another aspect of survival is the adaptation of food, since it is not very easy to organize "Vigitarian" food in the conditions of the underworld, and rather depends on the level of civilization, it is more likely that civilization has switched to only animal food. Some of the listed parameters, of course, should have influenced the culture and mentality of civilization, maybe some monsters are just inhabitants of the underworld?

The mysterious underworld exists not only in legends. In recent decades, the number of visitors to the caves has increased markedly. Adventurers and miners are making their way deeper and deeper into the bowels of the Earth, more and more often they come across traces of the activities of mysterious underground inhabitants. It turned out that under us there is a whole network of tunnels stretching for thousands of kilometers and enveloping the entire Earth, and huge, sometimes even populated underground cities.

In South America, there are amazing caves connected by endless intricate passages - the so-called chinkanas. The legends of the Hopi Indians say that snake people live in their depths. These caves are practically unexplored. By order of the authorities, all entrances to them are tightly closed with bars. Dozens of adventurers have already disappeared without a trace in Chinkanas. Some tried to penetrate the dark depths out of curiosity, others out of a thirst for profit: according to legend, Inca treasures are hidden in chinkanas. Only a few managed to get out of the terrible caves. But even these “lucky ones” were permanently damaged in their minds. From the incoherent stories of the survivors, one can understand that they met strange creatures in the depths of the earth. These inhabitants of the underworld were both human and snake-like at the same time.

There are pictures of fragments of global dungeons in North America. The author of the book about Shambhala, Andrew Thomas, on the basis of a thorough analysis of the stories of American speleologists, claims that there are direct underground passages in the mountains of California that lead to the state of New Mexico.

Once I had to study the mysterious thousand-kilometer tunnels and the American military. An underground nuclear explosion was carried out at a test site in Nevada. Exactly two hours later, at a military base in Canada, 2000 kilometers away from the explosion site, a radiation level was recorded that was 20 times higher than normal. A study by geologists has shown that near the Canadian base there is an underground cavity that connects to a huge cave system that permeates the North American continent.

There are especially many legends about the underworld of Tibet and the Himalayas. Here in the mountains there are tunnels that go deep into the earth. Through them, the "initiate" can travel to the center of the planet and meet with representatives of the ancient underground civilization. But not only wise beings who give advice to "initiates" live in the underworld of India. Ancient Indian legends tell of the mysterious kingdom of the Nagas, hidden in the depths of the mountains. Nanases live in it - snake people who keep countless treasures in their caves. Cold-blooded as snakes, these creatures are incapable of experiencing human feelings. They cannot warm themselves and steal warmth, bodily and spiritual, from other living beings.

The existence of a system of global tunnels in Russia was written in his book “The Legend of the LSP” by a spelestolog - a researcher studying artificial structures - Pavel Miroshnichenko. The lines of global tunnels he drew on the map of the former USSR went from the Crimea through the Caucasus to the well-known Medveditsa ridge. In each of these places, groups of ufologists, speleologists, explorers of the unknown discovered fragments of tunnels or mysterious bottomless wells.

The Medveditskaya ridge has been studied by expeditions organized by the Kosmopoisk association for many years. The researchers not only managed to record the stories of local residents, but also using geophysical equipment to prove the reality of the existence of dungeons. Unfortunately, after World War II, the mouths of the tunnels were blown up.

A sublatitudinal tunnel stretching from the Crimea to the east in the region of the Ural Mountains intersects with another, stretched from north to east. It is along this tunnel that you can hear stories about "divya people", who at the beginning of the last century went out to the locals. "Divya people", - is told in epics, common in the Urals, - they live in the Ural Mountains, they have exits to the world through caves. Their culture is great. The "Divya people" are small in stature, very beautiful and have a pleasant voice, but only the elite can hear them... An old man from the "Divya people" comes to the square and predicts what will happen. An unworthy person does not hear or see anything, and the peasants in those places know everything that the Bolsheviks are hiding.

Legends of our days.

Meanwhile, the most authoritative archaeologists of Peru today have no doubts about the existence of an underground empire: not yet explored by anyone, it, in their understanding, extends under the seas and continents. And ancient buildings rise above the entrances to this grand dungeon in different parts of the world: for example, in Peru, this is the city of Cusco... Of course, not all scientists share the opinion of Peruvian experts. And yet, many facts speak in favor of the underworld, indirectly proving its existence. The 1970s were the most fruitful for such evidence.

England. The miners, digging an underground tunnel, heard the sounds of working mechanisms coming from somewhere below. After breaking through, they found a staircase leading to an underground well. The sound of working equipment increased, and therefore the workers got scared and ran away. Returning after some time, they found neither the entrance to the well nor the stairs.

USA. Anthropologist James Macken, along with his colleagues, explored a cave in Idaho that is notorious among the indigenous population. The locals believed that there is an entrance to the underworld. Scientists, having gone deep into the dungeon, clearly heard screams and groans, and then discovered human skeletons. Further exploration of the cave had to be stopped due to the increasing smell of sulfur.

Under the Black Sea city of Gelendzhik, a bottomless mine with a diameter of about one and a half meters with amazingly smooth edges was discovered. Experts unanimously say: it was created using technology unknown to people and has existed for more than one hundred years.

Speaking of the underworld, one cannot discount the legends that have already appeared today. For example, modern Indians living in the mountainous regions of California say that very tall golden-haired people sometimes come from Mount Shasta: they once descended from heaven, but were unable to adapt to life on earth's surface. Now they live in a secret city, which is located inside an extinct volcano. And you can get into it only through mountain caves. By the way, Andrew Thomas, the author of a book about Shambhala, absolutely agrees with the Indians. The researcher believes that there are underground passages in Mount Shasta, going in the direction of New Mexico and further to South America.

Speleologists "discovered" another underground people: they are sure that troglodytes inhabit deep caves all over the world. It is said that these cave dwellers sometimes appear before people; help in trouble those who respect their world, and punish those who desecrate the caves...

To believe or not to believe?

To believe or not to believe all these stories? Any sane person will answer: "Do not believe!" But not everything is so clear. Let's try to think logically. Let's think about how real a full-fledged human life underground is? Could there be an unknown culture or even a civilization next to us - or rather, below us - managing to limit contact with terrestrial humanity to a minimum? Staying unnoticed? Is it possible? Does such "living" contradict common sense?

In principle, a person can exist underground, and it would be pretty good if there was money. Suffice it to recall the bunker house that Tom Cruise is currently building: the megastar plans to hide in his underground dwelling from aliens who, in his opinion, should soon attack our Earth. In less "illuminated", but no less solid bunker cities, the "chosen ones" are preparing in the event of an atomic war to wait out the nuclear winter and the post-radiation period - and this is a period during which more than one generation will rise to its feet! Moreover, in China and Spain today, many thousands of people do not live in houses, but in comfortable caves with all amenities. True, these cave dwellers continue to actively contact the outside world and take part in terrestrial life. But the inhabitants of cave monasteries scattered around the world - like the Greek Meteora - have always been almost completely cut off from the hectic life. According to the degree of isolation, lasting for centuries, their existence can be considered underground.

But perhaps the most a prime example the adaptability of a huge number of people (what is there - a whole civilization!) To the "lower" world - this is the underground city of Derinkuyu.

Derinkuyu

Derinkuyu, which means "deep wells", takes its name from the small Turkish town currently located above it. For a long time, no one thought about the purpose of these strangest wells, until in 1963 one of the local residents, who discovered a strange crack in his basement, from which fresh air showed no healthy curiosity. As a result, a multi-tiered underground city was found, the numerous rooms and galleries of which, connected with each other by passages, tens of kilometers long, were hollowed out in the rocks...

Already during the excavation upper tiers It became clear to Derinkuyu that this was the discovery of the century. In the underground city, scientists discovered objects of material culture of the Hittites, a great people who competed with the Egyptians for dominance in Asia Minor. Hittite kingdom, founded in the XVIII century BC. e., in the XII century BC. e. sank into the unknown. That is why the discovery of a whole city of the Hittites became a real sensation. In addition, it turned out that the giant underground city is only part of a colossal labyrinth under the Anatolian plateau. Scientists have come to the conclusion that underground construction has been carried out for at least nine (!) Centuries. Moreover, these were not just earthworks, albeit of a colossal volume. Ancient architects equipped the underground empire with a life-support system, the perfection of which still amazes today. Everything here was thought out to the smallest detail: rooms for animals, warehouses for food, rooms for cooking and eating, for sleeping, for meetings ... At the same time, religious temples and schools were not forgotten. A precisely calculated blocking device made it easy to block the entrances to the dungeon with granite doors. And the ventilation system that supplied the city with fresh air continues to function flawlessly to this day!

In the presence of provisions in the underground city, up to two hundred thousand people could live indefinitely at the same time. The issue of replenishing food stocks could be solved in many ways: from domestic production to the use of "intermediary services". Apparently, there was no single scheme for all time.
But in the legends different peoples the underground dwellers earn their livelihood by barter, secret trade, or even theft. The latter option, however, is only suitable for small underground communities: Derinkuyu could hardly feed himself in this way. By the way, most likely, it was the extraction of food that caused the terrestrial inhabitants to have thoughts about the existence of "children of the dungeons" ...
Traces of the Hittites, who lived underground, can be traced until the Middle Ages, and then are lost. A developed underground civilization managed to secretly exist for almost two millennia, and after its disappearance, it did not open to the ground world for more than a thousand years. And this amazing fact alone allows us to make an unambiguous conclusion: yes, it is still possible to live underground in secret from people!

This is a huge underground city that goes underground for 8 floors.

Always +27.

Underground America

Legends and myths of many peoples of the world tell about the existence of various intelligent beings underground. In truth, few sane people have ever taken these stories seriously. But now our time has come, and some researchers began to write about the underground city of Agartha. The entrance to this secret underground abode of them is allegedly located under the Lasha monastery in Tibet. The vast majority of representatives of official science reacted to such statements with slight irony. But on the other hand, messages about mysterious entrances to dungeons and bottomless mines may, perhaps, be of interest not only to an inquisitive person, but also to a serious scientist.

Among a number of researchers of the underground world, there is a strong opinion that the entrances to the underground cities of humanoid inhabitants exist in Ecuador, the Pamirs and even at the poles of the Arctic and Antarctic.

It was in the area of Mount Shasta, according to Indian eyewitnesses, that people who did not look like those here were seen several times coming out of the ground. According to the written testimonies of many Indians, one can also get into the underworld through various caves located near the sacred volcanoes of Popocatelpetl and Inlaquatl. Here, according to the assurances of the same Indians, they sometimes met tall and fair-haired strangers coming out of the dungeon.

Back in his time, the famous English traveler and scientist Percy Fawcett, who visited South America six times, said that he had repeatedly heard from Indians living in mountainous areas that they often see strong, large and golden-haired people descending and ascending into mountains.

Even 30 years ago, both people and animals disappeared without a trace near Gelendzhik. And in the early 70s of the last century, people accidentally discovered and immediately fenced off a bottomless mine with a diameter of about 1.5 meters. Its walls are smooth, as if polished, without any traces of formwork. Experts almost unanimously say that it must have existed for more than one hundred years and was created using technology not known to modern mankind. The first attempt by scientists and speleologists to carefully examine the phenomenon ended tragically. Of the five members of the expedition, one disappeared, and four died a few days after descending on ropes to a depth of 25 meters. The one who died in the mine descended 30 meters, and at that moment his partners first heard some strange sounds, and then the wild cry of his comrade. Those who remained at the top immediately began to lift their colleague from the mine, but the rope first stretched like a string, and then suddenly weakened. The lower end was cut off like a knife. There were subsequent, however, short-term attempts to study this bottomless well by lowering into it. They gave practically nothing. Then a TV camera was lowered into the mine. The rope was gradually increased up to 200 meters, and all this time the camera showed bare walls. That's all that is known about the Gelendzhik phenomenon today.

Similar bottomless wells have been found on all continents of the planet.

The most authoritative archaeologists of Peru today have no doubts about the existence of a still completely unexplored underground empire, stretching under the seas and continents. In their opinion, there are ancient cities and buildings above the entrances to them in various parts of the continents. For example, in their opinion, one of these places is Cusco in Peru.

In this regard, the most intriguing story is about the underground city of La Checana in the Andes. More recently, in the University Library of the city of Cusco, archeology discovered a report on the catastrophe that befell a group of researchers from France and the United States in 1952. In the vicinity of the named city, they found the entrance to the dungeon and began to prepare for the descent into it. Scientists were not going to stay there for a long time, so they took food for 5 days. However, only 15 days later, out of 7 people, only one Frenchman, Philippe Lamontier, got out to the surface. He was exhausted, suffered from memory lapses, almost lost his human appearance, and besides, he soon showed clear signs of infection with the deadly bubonic plague. While in the hospital isolation, the Frenchman was mostly delirious, but still at times spoke of the bottomless abyss into which his companions had fallen. Nobody took his words seriously, and therefore no rescue expedition was carried out. Moreover, out of fear of the plague that Philippe Lamontier brought with him, the authorities ordered that the entrance to the dungeon be blocked immediately. reinforced concrete slab. The Frenchman died a few days later, and after him was left a corncob made of pure gold, which he raised with him from the ground. Now this underground find is stored in the Museum of Archeology in Cusco.

Most recently, the most authoritative researcher of the Inca civilization, Dr. Raul Rios Centeno, tried to repeat the route of the tragically lost expedition of the French and Americans. He gathered a group of 6 specialists and obtained permission from the authorities to enter the dungeon through the already explored entrances. However, having outwitted the guards, the archaeologists went into the dungeon through a room that was under the tomb of a dilapidated temple a few kilometers from Cuzco. From here there was a long, gradually narrowing corridor that looked like part of a huge ventilation system. Some time later, the expedition was forced to stop, as the walls of the tunnel, for some unknown reason, did not reflect infrared rays. Then the researchers decided to use a special radio filter, which suddenly worked when tuned to the frequency of aluminum. This fact plunged all participants into complete bewilderment. Where, one wonders, did this metal appear in the prehistoric labyrinth? They began to explore the walls. And it turned out that they have a casing of unknown origin and a high density, which was not taken by any tool. The tunnel steadily continued to narrow until its height reached 90 cm. People had to turn back. On the way back, the guide fled, fearing that he would eventually be severely punished for assisting the scientists in their illegal activities. This ended the expedition. Doctor Centeno was not allowed to repeat further research even in the highest state instances ...

Tibetan lamas say that the ruler Underworld
is the great King of the World, as he is called in the East. And his kingdom
Agharta, based on the principles of the Golden Age - there are at least 60
thousand years. People there do not know evil and do not commit crimes. Unseen
science flourished there, therefore the underground people, who reached
incredible heights of knowledge, does not know diseases and is not afraid of any
cataclysms. The King of the World wisely governs not only millions of his own
underground subjects, but also secretly by the entire population of the surface
parts of the earth. He knows all the hidden springs of the universe, he comprehends the soul
every human being and reads the great book of fates.

The realm of Agartha stretches underground across the entire planet. And under the oceans too.
There is also an opinion that the peoples of Agarta were forced to switch to
underground residence after the universal cataclysm (flood) and immersion
under the water of land - the ancient continents that existed on the site of the present
oceans. As the Himalayan lamas say, in the caves of Agharta there is
a special glow that even allows you to grow vegetables and cereals. Chinese
Buddhists know that the ancient people, who took refuge after another
doomsday underground, lives in the caves of America. Here they are -
Ecuadorian dungeons of Erich von Denniken in the foothills of South American
Andes. Recall that the information gleaned from Chinese sources,
published in 1922, that is, exactly half a century before the indefatigable
the Swiss began his fantastic descent to a depth of 240 meters to
mysterious vaults ancient knowledge lost in hard to reach
places in the Ecuadorian province of Morona Santiago.

In the underground workshops tireless work is in full swing. All metals melt there.
and forged products from them. In unknown chariots or other perfect
devices rush underground inhabitants through tunnels laid deep
underground. The level of technical development of underground inhabitants exceeds
wildest imagination.

Dungeons of Cusco

An ancient legend is also associated with gold, telling about a secret entrance to a vast labyrinth of underground galleries under a collapsed building. As evidenced by the Spanish magazine Mas Alla, which specializes in describing all kinds of historical mysteries, this legend, in particular, tells that there are gigantic tunnels in length that cross the vast mountainous territory of Peru and reach Brazil and Ecuador. In the language of the Quechua Indians, they are called "chinkana", which literally means "maze". In these tunnels, the Incas, allegedly deceiving the Spanish conquistadors, hid a significant part of the gold wealth of their empire in the form of large art objects. Even a specific point in Cusco was indicated, where this labyrinth began and where the temple of the Sun once stood.

It was gold that glorified Cusco (there is still the only museum in the world dedicated to this noble metal). But it also destroyed him. The Spanish conquistadors, who conquered the city, plundered the temple of the Sun, and all its riches, including the golden statues in the garden, were loaded onto ships and sent to Spain. At the same time, there was also a rumor about the existence of underground halls and galleries, where the Incas allegedly hid part of the ritual gold items. This rumor is indirectly confirmed by the chronicle of the Spanish missionary Felipe de Pomares, who told in the 17th century about the fate of the Inca prince, who confessed to his Spanish wife Maria de Esquivel about the mission "sent down to him by the gods": to preserve the most valuable treasures of ancestors.

Blindfolding his wife, the prince led her through one of the palaces into the dungeon. After a long journey, they ended up in a huge hall. The prince removed the bandage from his wife's eyes, and by the weak light of the torch she saw the golden statues of all the twelve kings of the Incas, reaching the height of a teenager; a lot of gold and silver dishes, figurines of birds and animals made of gold. As a loyal subject of the king and a devout Catholic, Maria de Esquivel denounced her husband to the Spanish authorities, describing her journey in detail. But the prince, sensing something unkind, disappeared. The last thread that could lead to the underground labyrinth of the Incas was cut off.

Archaeologists have found a network of mysterious tunnels in Malta

In Malta, in the city of Valletta, archaeologists have found a network of underground tunnels. Now researchers are scratching their heads: is it an underground city of the Order of Malta, or an ancient water supply or sewage system.
For many centuries it was believed that the Crusader Knights built an underground city on the Mediterranean island of Malta, and rumors circulated among the population about the secret passages and military labyrinths of the Hospitaller Order.

Cave Ar Dalam

They built a garage, but found ancient tunnels
This winter, researchers found a network of tunnels under the historic center of the Maltese capital Valletta. These tunnels date back the end of the XVI- the beginning of the 17th century. It was then that the knights of one of the largest Christian military orders during the Crusades of the XI-XIII centuries were engaged in strengthening Valletta to repel Muslim attacks.

“Many said that there are passages and even an entire underground city. But the question is - where were these tunnels? Did they exist at all? Now we think we have found at least a small part of these underground structures,” said archaeologist Claude Borg, who took part in the excavations.

The tunnels were discovered on February 24 during an archaeological survey, which was carried out on Palace Square opposite the Palace of the Grand Master. The palace used to belong to the head of the Order of Malta, and today there are legislative institutions and the presidential office of Malta. Archaeological exploration was carried out before the construction of the underground parking.

Mdina

Underground city or aqueduct?
First, the workers found an underground reservoir right under the square. Near its bottom, at a depth of about 12 m, they found a hole in the wall - the entrance to the tunnel. It went under the square and then connected to other canals. An attempt to pass through these corridors was unsuccessful - they were blocked. All found corridors have a high enough vault so that an adult can easily pass there. However, researchers believe that this is only part of an extensive plumbing system.

Restoration architect Edward Said of Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna says the discovery is "just the tip of the iceberg." In his opinion, the found tunnels are part of the water supply and sewerage system, which also includes corridors where those who watched the tunnels and kept them in order could walk.

Construction of Valletta
The Order of Malta, founded in 1099, became famous for their victories over the Muslims during the Crusades. In 1530, Holy Roman Emperor Charles V gave the island of Malta to the knights. In 1565, the order, under the leadership of Grand Master La Valetta, was attacked by the Ottoman Turks, but managed to withstand the Great Siege of Malta.

However, this military experience forced them to start building a fortress in Malta, named after the master Valletta. The fortification was built on a hill, but there were not enough natural sources of water. According to Sad, the main goal of the builders of the city was to provide themselves with the necessary supplies in case of future sieges.

Saint Paul's Cave

“Soon they realized that the rainwater and springs that were at their disposal would not be enough,” the architect said.

Aqueduct and plumbing
Therefore, the builders erected an aqueduct, the remains of which have survived to this day: water entered the city from a valley located west of Valletta. The location of the tunnels under the Palace Square also confirms the idea that they were built precisely as a water pipe. Probably, a large fountain on Palace Square was supplied through underground channels and a reservoir. When the island was dominated by the British (1814-1964), the fountain was demolished.

End
How the knights left
In 1798 Napoleon expelled the knights from Malta. Now the Order of Malta continues to exist, but its residence is in Rome.
"The fountain was quite important source water for the residents of the city,” said Borg.

According to Sed, archaeologists have found the remains of centuries-old lead pipes. The corridors connected to this tunnel may have been service passages used by plumbing engineers or so-called fountains.

“The fountain engineer, along with a team of workers, had to check the operation of the system and keep the fountain in good condition. They also turned off the fountain at night,” Sad said.

The underground city didn't exist?
The tales of secret military passages, according to Sed, have more basis. Under the fortress walls, there really could be secret corridors for warriors. However, according to Sed, most of the legends about the underground city are actually stories about the plumbing and sewerage system.

According to the researcher, Valletta's pipeline system was very progressive for its time. If, for example, Valletta is compared with such large cities of that time as London or Vienna, then the Maltese city of the 16th-17th centuries was much cleaner, while others were literally buried in mud.

After these finds, the Maltese government announced that the construction of an underground parking lot was being postponed. A new fountain is to be installed in the square, and the tunnels, Sed hopes, will subsequently be opened to the general public.

Mexico. Mitla. Mayan underground structures

According to the participants, these structures have a high quality finish and are more like a bunker. They also notice that according to some details it can be judged that the Indians did not build, but only restored one of these structures from the blocks lying around in the vicinity.

Underground Giza

Pyramids, the Sphinx, the ruins of ancient temples on the Giza Plateau have been striking the imagination of people for more than one millennium. And here is a new discovery. It has been established that huge, completely unexplored underground structures are hidden under the pyramids. Scientists suggest that the network of tunnels can extend for tens of kilometers.

Studying one of the tombs, scientists accidentally leaned on the wall, and the rock collapsed. Archaeologists have found the beginning of one of the tunnels. Later, there was confidence that the tunnels permeate the entire Giza plateau, on which the great pyramids stand. The chief curator of antiquities of Egypt said that a group of local and foreign archaeologists began work on compiling a kind of map of the underground passages under the pyramids. The work is carried out both on the ground and from the air using aerial photography. Exploring the tunnels will allow you to take a fresh look at the entire pyramid complex of Giza.

There are about 300 archaeological expeditions in Egypt. Their goal is to study and preserve already found objects. Now several groups of scientists are excavating a unique temple. It may even outshine the famous temple in Luxor. There is reason to believe that underground is a huge, previously unknown complex of buildings, palaces and temples. A big obstacle for scientists is that on the lands that covered these unique structures, houses have already been built, roads and communications have been laid.

Since the declassification of the new deep-seated radar 2 years ago, information about underground complexes and labyrinths from many places in the world began to appear. In places like Guatemala in South America, tunnels have been documented under the Tikal complex, leading across the country for 800 kilometers. The researchers note that it is possible with the help of these tunnels that the Maya avoided the complete destruction of their culture.

In early 1978, a similar radar (SIRA) was deployed in Egypt and incredible underground complexes under the Egyptian pyramids were discovered. A research agreement was signed with Egyptian President Sadat, and this secret project has been going on for 3 decades.

Dungeons Kolobros

The Huaraz plateau in the Western Cordillera has long been considered the secret refuge of the sorcerers of Peru. They say they can call the spirits of the dead and materialize them. They can sharply raise and lower the temperature of the surrounding air, which is necessary for the appearance of "shining carts controlled by heavenly patrons." Unfortunately, few of the strangers managed to become participants in these magical rites. One of them, the Englishman Joseph Ferrier, visited the mysterious underground settlement of Kolobros in 1922. And he was so shocked by what he saw that he was not too lazy to write a lengthy essay for the magazine "British Pathfinder", prefaced with an oath assurance: "I vouch for the absolute truthfulness of the stated."

Joseph Ferrier is silent about how he managed to become a guest of the system of underground labyrinths forbidden to outsiders, “very intricate and cramped, almost unsuitable for free breathing and movement, but with halls in which they are forced to live from birth to death. Because the life of each hereditary sorcerer has a special, nowhere else, except on the local plateau, does not occur meaning. What is this meaning? According to Ferrier, as follows:

“Underground sorcerers do not draw a line between the world of the living and the world of the dead. It is believed that both the living and the dead are only spirits. The only difference is that until the moment of death, the spirit of each of us languishes in the body shell. After death, it is released, becoming a spirit outside the body. Therefore, with special techniques, sorcerers achieve that the spirits that have taken on flesh can be next to us, among us. You can not believe it, but copies of these once living ones are found in labyrinths, walking among the living. I myself have repeatedly confused phantoms with people. Only the sorcerers of Kolobros do not confuse.

The rites of materialization, the creations of phantoms, are practiced in a large hall shaped like an isosceles triangle. The walls and ceiling are covered with copper plates. The floor is paved with wedge-shaped bronze slabs.

“As soon as I crossed the threshold of this ritual chamber,” writes Ferrier, “I immediately received eight or ten electric shocks. Doubts disappeared. The metallized room was not much different from the metallized internal volume of the capacitor bank, and, apparently, was needed by sorcerers-mediums for their afterlife rites. As I was convinced, when they stood up in their loincloths, clasped their hands, and began a song without words. My ears buzzed. I bit my tongue as I saw thin silver bands begin to spin around the heads of the sorcerers, scattering wet, cold sparkles. Glitter fell on the copper underfoot, forming a kind of cobweb, red as blood. Faintly visible resemblances sprouted slowly from the web human bodies. They stood, vibrating unsteadily from the drafts of the galleries. The sorcerers, having opened their hands and stopped singing, began, dancing, to rub the resin columns installed in the center of the hall with shreds of wool. Several minutes passed. The air was saturated with electricity, began to flicker.

Having found the power of speech, I asked the sorcerer Aotuk, what will happen next? Aotuk said that further on, the shadows of the summoned dead will become solid, suitable for being in our world. The sorcerers of the Kolobros dungeon have achieved the impossible. Obeying the most ancient magical techniques, discharged, light as smoke, the shadows became completely indistinguishable from people - thinking, with beating hearts, capable of lifting and carrying loads weighing up to ten kilograms, sometimes more. The rites of "humanization of incorporeal spirits" seemed to Ferrier similar to the European medieval rituals of summoning the dead. Whether this is so can be judged by an excerpt from the essay:

“The ritual of luring the dead, the most dangerous for sorcerers, takes a lot of bodily strength. The best time for the Sabbath to take place is between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice. The magical New Year in the labyrinths of Kolobros begins on November 1 with a “silent supper” around an altar table covered with a triangular canvas, on which there is a pewter goblet, a black cord and a censer, an iron trident and a knife, an hourglass, seven burning candles.

Each sorcerer wears on his chest a protective golden pictogram in the form of a grinning skull framed by four lead bones. As soon as it is closer to midnight, the upper vessel of the clock is freed from sand, the sorcerers burn incense and begin to invite guests to a meal. The trident at their approach begins to flash blue light, the knife - red. The cord is completely burned out. A flame is knocked out of the floor, following the contours of the Egyptian sacred cross, symbolizing eternal life. Throwing into the fire a wooden skull and bones - the sign of Osiris - the sorcerers loudly exclaim: "Rise from the dead!" The chief sorcerer pierces the flaming cross with a luminous trident. The flame is immediately extinguished. Candles go out too. Silence saturated with the smell of incense falls. A strong phosphorescent glow spreads under the ceiling.

“Go away, go away, shadows of the dead. We will not let you near us until you become alive for us. Let there be agreement between us. Let it be!” - sorcerers scream deafeningly. There are no more shadows. Instead of shadows, there are detailed bodily repetitions that can be consulted when important decisions need to be made.

Ask why underground clothing sorcerers prefer loincloths? Because negotiations with the resurrected thin the fabrics of clothes, no matter how good the fabrics are. I had a new linen suit. A few conversations with the resurrected, a few touches to them - and my suit fell into disrepair, as happens under the influence of decay.

Ferrier argues that the resurrected are not eternal. Each lingers among the sorcerers of Kolobros for a year at most: “When the figure of the“ neighbor ”fades, when his internal energy is depleted, a ritual of returning to the shadows is arranged for him - a quick, purely formal one. How else? Knowledge received. "Neighbour" is not needed. He, no matter how much the sorcerers would like, will not return again. However, it is from this fleeting rite that the main rite, the heavenly carts, originates. Ferrier writes nothing about the magical components of this action. He only reports that he saw how, in the sky over the Huaraz plateau, "fiery wheels swept through with a terrible roar and rattle and crashed into the edge of the Colobros canyon." The sorcerers did not allow him to meet with the "gods of the seventh heaven", referring to the fact that mere mortals cannot communicate with immortals. To Ferrier's objection that the sorcerers themselves, being mortals, still meet with the heavenly gods, the inhabitants of Kolobros replied that contacts were not frequent, they were carried out only at the initiative of the immortals, who made the meetings safe. Describing the level of knowledge of the gods, Ferrier says that they have gone so far ahead that they "have long forgotten what the best minds of mankind are just beginning to think about." Even experienced speleologists do not dare to visit the labyrinths of Kolobros now. One of them, American Michael Stern, dreams of going there. The expedition is planned for the summer of 2008, not paying attention to the increasing natural anomalies. These are local earthquakes, and night above-ground glows, and mud geysers in the labyrinth area, and flights of fireballs, and "landing" of ghosts with pear-shaped heads. The locals have no doubt that the dungeons of Kolobros are still inhabited. The way there by a stranger without the knowledge of the owners is ordered. Stern persists: “I am not a slave to superstition, I do not believe in sorcerers. For me, Kolobros is just a system of deep, difficult to pass caves, nothing more.” At the beginning of the last century, Joseph Ferrier also thought so ...

Agarthi (Agarthi) - underground country

The only and still unconfirmed sources of information about the mysterious Agharti are the publication of the Pole F. Ossendovsky, a member of the Council of Ministers in the government of Kolchak, similar in description of this center, civil war in the Siberian government the post of director of the Credit Office2, who subsequently fled to Mongolia, and, published twelve years earlier, the work of Saint-Yves d'Alveidre "Mission of India". Both authors argue about the existence of the underworld - a spiritual center that has a non-human origin, and stores the Primordial wisdom, passing it through the centuries from generation to generation by secret societies. The inhabitants of the underworld are far superior in their technical development to mankind, they have mastered unknown energies and are connected with all continents through underground passages. A comparative analysis of both versions of the Agharti myth was carried out in his work “King of the World” by the French scientist Rene Guenon: “If there really are two versions of this story, coming from sources very distant from each other, then it was interesting to find them and make a thorough comparison.”

The French esoteric thinker, the Marquis Saint-Yves d'Alveidre (1842-1909) left a significant mark on history by writing books on ancient occult history3 and formulating a new universal law of history and human society, which he called "Synarchy". The ideas of the new world order, set forth in the teachings of Saint-Yves "Synarchy", attracted the attention of the future leaders of the National Socialist Party in Germany. According to Saint-Yves, all information about Agartha was received by him “from the Afghan prince Harji Sharif, the envoy of the World Occult Government” and the center of Agartha is located in the Himalayas. This is a whole cave center with a population of 20 million people - "the most secret sanctuary of the Earth", keeping in its depths the annals of mankind for the entire time of its evolution on this earth for 556 centuries, written on stone tablets4. The chronology of mankind and the prescription of the teachings of Saint-Yves, based on Indian sources, elevates to the era of the progenitor of mankind, the legendary Manu, i.e. 55,647 years ago. In his literary work, oriented, as he wrote, "for educated people, the most enlightened secular people and statesmen”, Saint-Yves describes in detail and convincingly state structure Agharti and gives quite original details, for example, such as:

“The modern mystical name of the Rama Cycle Sanctuary was given to it approximately 5100 years ago, after the schism of Irshu. This name is "Agarta", which means: "inaccessible to violence", "unattainable to Anarchy". It is enough for my readers to know that in some areas of the Himalayas, among 22 temples depicting 22 arcana of Hermes and 22 letters of some sacred alphabets5, Agartha constitutes the mystical Zero (0). "Unfindable".
* “None of our terrible punishment systems apply in Agharta, and there are no prisons. There is no death penalty. Begging, prostitution, drunkenness, cruel individualism are completely unknown in Agharti. The division into castes is unknown.
* “Among the tribes expelled from the great University (Agarta) there is one wandering tribe, which, starting from the 15th century, shows its strange experiments to all Europe. This is the true origin of the gypsies (Bohami - in Sankr., "Get away from me").
* Agartha can follow the Souls on all ascending levels of the worlds up to the extreme limits of our solar system. In some cosmic periods one can see and speak with the dead. This is one of the mysteries of the ancient Ancestor Cult."
* The sages of Agartha "tested on our Planet the boundaries of the last flood and determined the possible starting point for its renewal in thirteen or fourteen centuries."
* "The founder of Buddhism, Shakyamuni, was initiated into the Sanctuary of Agartta, but he could not take his notes out of Agartta and subsequently dictated to his first disciples only what his memory was able to retain."
* “Not a single initiate can take away from Agarta the original texts of her scientific papers, for, as I said, they are engraved on the stone in the form of characters incomprehensible to the crowd. The Threshold of the Sanctuary is inaccessible without the will of the disciple. Its basement is built magically, different ways in which the Divine word plays a role, as in all ancient temples.
* "The sacred texts, due to political conditions, have been systematically changed everywhere, with the exception of only one Agartha, where all the lost secrets of the Hebrew-Egyptian text of our own Holy Scriptures and the keys to their mysteries are preserved"

Saint-Yves does not give an answer to the question of where Agharta is located, there is only one indirect indication in the text that Agart symbolically touches Afghanistan with his head, and with his feet, i.e. its foot rests on Burma. This territory corresponds to the area of the Himalayan mountains, little explored at that time. A striking description of the most secret sanctuary on Earth, which has lost ancient knowledge, subsequently inspired the search for this secret sanctuary in Tibet, both various scientists and adventurers, and statesmen. different countries, planning to send expeditions to the little-explored regions of Central Asia, in particular, to establish an alliance with Agartha.

What is under the pyramids?

In recent months, there have been many rumors and testimonies about excavations and underground passages on and under the Giza plateau. But why do local authorities scoff and downplay these discoveries?

The Giza Plateau holds the only miracle that has survived to this day ancient world: The Great Pyramid. In general, the place continues to attract many to itself, and each archaeological discovery instantly receives universal publicity. But in recent years, excavations and discoveries at Giza have received little media attention. Why?

The central figure in all stories on the plateau since the early 1990s is Zahi Hawass, a controversial figure in Egyptology. In June 2009, in front of hundreds of cameras, he greeted US President Barack Obama on the Giza Plateau. Far less pleased, he looked in November when visiting American pop star Beyoncé, whom he called a "stupid person," plateau. The comment immediately made international headlines, like everything Hawass says. In short, he is capable of producing a noticeable movement in the world concerning Egyptology, whether it be an archaeological discovery or a campaign to return exhibits from the Louvre or other European museums.

One would think that Egypt is pleased with her son. But not Egyptian newspapers. In a report on the Beyoncé incident, they emphasized that Hawass is known for his antics, adding that he often uses Arabic to insult guests at gala events, believing they do not understand Arabic. The Bikya Masr newspaper even reported that “The incident left the archaeologists outraged. They say it's time to show the world the real Hawass." As one archaeologist, who requested that his name be kept secret, put it, “He both offends and controls everything – it has become extremely difficult to work in this country.” So what is the real Hawass?

According to the rumors, Egypt would like to get rid of Hawass, but cannot. Obviously, Hawass has more lives than a cat. Planning for a forced resignation in May 2010, in October 2009 the Egyptian president signed a decree calling Hawass a vicious minister of culture. This is a remarkable achievement, since Hawass's career has always been marked by scandals.

Just a year earlier, on October 8, 2008, the former head of restoration in Islamic Cairo and two other Egyptian officials from the Ministry of Culture were jailed for ten years for accepting bribes from contractors. The Cairo court ruled that Ayman Abdel Monem, Hussein Ahmed Hussein and Abdel Hamid Qutb should pay fines ranging from 200,000 to 550,000 Egyptian pounds. Abdel Hamid Qutb was the de facto head of the technical department at the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) and reported to Hawass. Under suspicion were contracts for the restoration of famous monuments of Egypt for millions of dollars.

During his arrest in September 2007, Hawass tried to defend Qutb by arguing that the defendant was unable to sign contracts. Hawass told the BBC Arabic Service that contracts were awarded only after a "strict procedure" and Qutb had no power to decide. The court apparently thought differently. Hawass never commented on this decision ...

Despite their love of being the center of attention, most of the excavations at Giza in recent months have clearly avoided daylight. Claims are emerging that Hawass is exploring the underworld of Giza almost in secret, with some Egyptian newspapers even using the word "illegal".

When Hawass announces his results, he seems to be twisting the truth. In April 2009, Hawass reported: “Under my leadership, the High Council of Antiquities is working to reduce the level ground water around ancient sites throughout Egypt. We have completed the draining of the Karnak and Luxor temples, and work is underway in many other places. One of our recent great successes has been the development of a system to prevent wetting the paws of the Great Sphinx at Giza!”

It reads like the most common research, but it's not that simple. If you look at Hawass' reports rather than his press statements, an interesting picture emerges. We learn that at the beginning of 2008 the High Council of Antiquities collaborated with the Engineering Center for Archeology and environment(Cairo University) to drill four holes, each four inches in diameter and about twenty meters deep, at the base of the Sphinx. A camera was lowered into each well to conduct a geological examination of the plateau. A separate scientific report states that 260 cubic meters water. This amounts to 6240 cubic meters or 6240000 liters of water per day. The Olympic pool contains 2,500,000 liters. In short, almost three Olympic pools pump water from under the Sphinx every day. Indeed, the Sphinx itself could approximately correspond in volume to the Olympic pool. The report continues: the volume of water in front of the Sphinx has decreased to 70% of its original size. But wait: at least 33 monitoring sensors have been installed around the Sphinx to monitor the movement of the mass of the Sphinx and its surrounding rock base. Monitoring continued for a month, and the control showed that the entire structure is stable.

Further, if I am not greatly mistaken, for such a significant amount of water, the existence of at least one cavity the size of a small pool, which is continuously filled with water - in short, an underground lake, is clearly necessary. Which brings us to the next question: why are they draining the underground lake? For stability or for something else? It could be argued that removing the water would reduce the stability of the Sphinx, which everyone is worried about, as the stability of the Sphinx area was being tested. But apparently, based on a month-long observation, the release of this underground cavity does not endanger the surface structures. But why waste it? To keep the paws of the Sphinx dry?

One source claims that Hawass, along with Egyptologist Mark Lehner, discovered the lake several years ago. The lake is located under the whole plateau, the area is enclosed by a concrete wall (construction of which began in 2002). He adds that, in his opinion, these projects were preparations for exploring the underground of Giza.

In August 2009, British author Andrew Collins and Nigel Skinner-Simpson announced that they had made an accidental discovery on the Giza plateau: they had found a cave system explored by Henry Salt and Giovanni Caviglia in 1817, but whose existence was subsequently forgotten.

Back in 2003, Nigel Skinner-Simpson realized that Henry Salt, the British Consul General in Egypt, working alongside the Italian explorer and sea captain Giovanni Caviglia, had entered the unknown "catacombs" of Giza somewhere west of the Pyramid area. When Salt's memoirs were published, it turned out that these notes were the best study of the catacombs. The adventurers had apparently penetrated "after a few hundred yards" and had previously stumbled upon a spacious room that connected to three others of equal size, which in turn gave rise to labyrinthine passages. Caviglia later walked one of these passages "about 300 feet". Later, they stopped research, because they did not consider the importance of this discovery: there was neither gold nor treasure - the main obsessions of early pyramid seekers.

However, although no treasure was found, Collins was convinced that the site was later excavated and brought to fruition: Colonel Howard Wise and engineer John She Perring discovered several bird mummies in 1837. Collins visited the lost grave in January 2007 in the company of his wife Sue. Little was found - new evidence of a local bird cult. On March 3, 2008, Sue and Andy Collins and Nigel Skinner-Simpson returned to the so-called "Grave of the Birds" with funding from the Association for Research and Education (A.R.E) in Virginia Beach, Virginia. They discovered a small crack in the rock that led into a huge natural cave that connected to other caves and long passages. In short, the trio realized that their find was nothing more than caves discovered in 1817.

At present, no one knows the full size of the caves. As stated, Salt and Caviglia never reached the end, and Collins has so far failed in his attempts to interest the Egyptian authorities in his discovery. There are caves extending beyond the most explored point, most likely going in the direction of the Second Pyramid, whose southwest corner is only 480 meters southwest of the entrance to the Tomb of the Birds. As Collins learned from a guard who lived nearby and was familiar with the cave, the underground system stretched for miles.

Upon hearing the news of Collins' discovery, Hawass claimed that the structure had been "recently" examined by Egyptologists and further commented: "This story shows how people who have no experience in archeology use the media and the Internet for screaming headlines... When I saw this Internet story of a new discovery at Giza, I realized that it would be misleading. The article reports that a huge system of tunnels and caves has been discovered; however, I can say that there is no underground cave complex in this place.” Collins challenged Hawass by presenting a scientific paper on cave exploration in recent years.

Collins adds: “Our caves are the only natural caves recorded on the plateau so far (despite many rumors). Our caves, even if isolated (which we hope are false), prove that the geology of Giza does include a natural cave system that Abbas may have discovered in the eastern part of the plateau in 2006. Salt's report says that the caves extend "for several hundred yards, then connect with rooms and passages, one of which Caviglia explored for no more than 300 feet. Note - "no further." I say this because people may say: this is all they found, which is about 300 feet (90 meters) of caves, and no more. We haven't reached the end, neither have Salt and Caviglia. We believe that the caves also extend under the Second Pyramid. The voids under the Second Pyramid were discovered by the SRI team when they were doing their research in 1977."

Then, at the end of November 2009, Hawass announced that the team under his leadership explored the site: “We cleared this system, it turned out to be Late Period catacombs, like many others in Egypt. There is no mystery here, and no connection with esoteric themes. We will publish our results as part of the normal research process." If the site had already been explored, why did Hawass resume work?

Collins' discovery, detailed in his book Beneath the Pyramids, is part of a slowly opening picture that reveals more secrets lie in the Giza dungeons. Although Hawass does much to downplay and discredit these testimonies, let us note that he is not ignorant in this matter. Hawass himself, storming the ground in front of the Sphinx temple in 1980, found red granite at a depth of 15 meters. Red granite does not occur on the Giza plateau; the only source is Aswan hundreds of miles to the south. The very presence of red granite proves the existence of artificial structures under the plateau. In short, since 1980, Hawass has known that something very interesting is hiding under the Giza plateau.

Bill Brown is a regular visitor to the Giza Plateau. In early November 2009, he announced that excavations had begun in front of the Sphinx. Brown adds, "Hawass is digging east towards the desert where the restaurant is!"

Brown discovered that the excavations are exploring a collapsed shaft that leads to a double stone-cut tomb. The excavation site is to the right of the residential buildings and the concrete wall that surrounds the Giza plateau, the object is two mines. The shafts ended in a chamber 2.5 by 3.5 meters leading to a second chamber of the same dimensions, which was said to contain a false door. It is possible that this room leads to the third, although no conclusive evidence has been found for this, possibly because access to it has been destroyed.

The story was covered in local Arabic newspapers as early as late September 2009, highlighting the illegality of the excavations (this is Brown's claim, which I cannot confirm). However, it is clear that something is happening on the Giza plateau, and the Egyptians are unhappy with the way it is happening. The SCA people provided Brown with images allegedly from the dig site. One source even claimed that a mummy had been found and added that a goat sacrifice ceremony was held to protect the villagers from the mummy's curse. Not surprisingly, Egyptian officials said the mummy story was false.

An image of the "mummy" taken with a cell phone was sent to Brown. The image definitely doesn't look like a normal mummy, which is probably why few people believe the story. Brown noted that his middleman in Cairo, who is involved in the illegal sale of the excavations, confirmed the existence of the mummy. While the story may have been inflated, the actual excavations are well known and, according to Egyptian newspapers, the nature of the excavations is extremely controversial.

The excavation site is located inside an area that was explored by an Egyptian team led by Abbas Mohamed Abbas of the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics in February 2006 using GPR scanning, as a result, numerous anomalies were found under the Giza plateau. These are cavities deep in the base, down to about 25 meters deep, with tunnels at least three to five meters wide. In his report, Abbas speculated that individual cavities and tunnels could connect, possibly even to as yet unexplored "treasure graves", noting that "survey results support the possibility of undiscovered objects of high value." He concluded that "we can surmise the existence of important and diverse archaeological structures in the pyramid plateau which as yet remain undiscovered."

So far undiscovered, but perhaps no longer unknown?

The area around the Fayum oasis, located a few kilometers from the city limits of Memphis, is an area of special interest. It was here, in a flourishing and fertile valley, which the pharaohs themselves called "royal hunting grounds", they fished and hunted using a boomerang.

Lake Meurice once bordered the Fayum oasis, and on its shores was the famous Labyrinth, called by Herodotus "an endless miracle for me." The labyrinth included 1500 rooms and the same number of underground chambers, which the Greek historian was not allowed to examine.

The priests of the Labyrinth said that it was intricate and difficult to pass, and was created in such a way as to protect the countless scrolls stored in underground rooms. The grandiosity of the buildings struck Herodotus, and he spoke with great reverence about what he saw:

“... There I saw twelve palaces, standing one after the other and interconnected by terraces built around twelve halls. I was confidentially informed that underground chambers and passages connected this pyramid with the pyramids in Memphis ... "

The pyramids at Memphis were the pyramids at Giza, since Giza was originally called Memphis.

On the map of Nordan in the book "Journeys to Egypt and Nubia", 1757 city, it is designated as "Gizeh, formerly Memphis". Many ancient writers confirm the existence of the underground passages mentioned by Herodotus that connected the great pyramids, and their evidence casts doubt on the veracity of the history of Egypt in its traditional presentation.

Crantor ( 300 -s years BC BC) claimed that there were some columns or pillars, on the stone of which records of prehistoric times were carved and showing the communication routes between the pyramids. Iamblichus, a Syrian representative of the Alexandrian School of mystical and philosophical teachings, who lived in IV century, in his illustrious work "On the mysteries, especially of the Egyptians, Caledonians and Assyrians", he left the following entry about the corridor that passed inside the statue of the Sphinx and led to the Great Pyramid:

“... This entrance, covered in our days with sand and debris, can still be found between the front paws of a colossus crouched to the ground. These galleries were so skillfully intertwined on the way to the Pyramid that a person who penetrated the dungeon without a special guide would incessantly and inevitably find himself again at the entrance ... "

It was recorded on ancient Sumerian cylinder seals that the secret hideout of the Anunnaki was

“... a place underground... where the tunnel led, the entrance to which was covered with sand and what they called Khuvana... with teeth like a dragon, with a face like a lion... "

This revealing old text, which has come down to us, unfortunately in fragments, further tells that "he (Khuwana) cannot move forward or backward", but they climbed on him from behind, and the way to the Anunnaki's secret refuge was opened.

The Sumerian report might well fit the description of the Sphinx of Giza, with a head like that of a lion; and if this great creation was built to hide and preserve the ancient staircase and secret passages leading to the underground structures below and around it, then in this case the symbolism is quite consistent with the plan. Local Arabic tradition XIX century testifies that the secret rooms under the Sphinx hide treasures or magical objects.

This version is confirmed in the writings of the Roman historian I century AD e. Pliny, who wrote that deep under the Sphinx is hidden

"... the tomb of a ruler named Harmakhis (Garmarchis), which contains countless treasures ... "

and, oddly enough, the Sphinx itself was once called

"... By the Great Sphinx Harmachis, standing guard since the days of the Followers of Horus..."

Roman historian IV century, Ammianus Marcellinus also claimed the existence of an underground crypt that overlooked the inner chambers of the Great Pyramid:

"... The letters, as the ancients pointed out, were carved on the walls of some underground galleries and passages, built deep in the darkness underground, in order to preserve the wisdom of the ancients from the bloody flood ... "

A manuscript written by an Arab writer named Altelemsani and kept in the British Museum speaks of the existence of a long, wide underpass between the Great Pyramid and the River Nile, with a strange device blocking the entrance from the river.

He refers to this episode:

“... In the days of Ahmed Ben Tuloun, a group of people entered the Great Pyramid through a tunnel and found in a side chamber a glass goblet of rare color and texture. When they left, they didn’t count one, and when they went in search, he suddenly came out to them naked and said laughing: “Don’t follow me and don’t look for me,” and quickly disappeared into the Pyramid. His friends realized that he was in the power of some kind of spell ... "

While studying the strange happenings under the Pyramid, Ahmed Ben Tuloun expressed a desire to see the glass goblet.

During the inspection, the goblet was filled with water and weighed, then emptied and weighed again. The historian wrote that

"... it turned out that he weighed the same both empty and filled with water..."

If the observations are genuine, then this lack of weight indirectly confirms the existence of advanced scientific knowledge at Giza.

According to Masudi (10th century), mechanical statues with amazing abilities guarded the underground galleries under the Great Pyramid. Written a thousand years ago, this description can be compared to robots from modern science fiction films about space.

Masudi said that automatic robots were programmed for the strictest control, as they destroyed everyone "except those who, by their behavior, deserve to be admitted." He claimed that

"... the written formulas of the Higher Wisdom and the foundations of the various arts and sciences were carefully hidden and protected so that they served in writing for the benefit of those who would later be able to comprehend them ..."

This is unique information, and it is possible that, since the time of Masudi, "worthy" people have seen the mysterious underground rooms.

Masudi admitted:

"... I saw something that is impossible to describe without being afraid that you will be considered abnormal ... And yet I saw it ... "

These data, which have come down from the past, were confirmed during seismic surveys carried out in the area in 1993 Significant voids were found underground. This discovery resulted in the filming of a documentary called "The Riddle of the Sphinx", which was seen by 30 million NB viewers C in the same year.

The existence of shelters under the Sphinx is well known. The Egyptian authorities received another confirmation of the discovery in 1994 year; the found voids were mentioned in a newspaper report under the heading "The Mysterious Tunnel in the Sphinx":

“... The workers who carried out repair work on the "recovery" of the Sphinx discovered an ancient passage that goes deep into the body of a mysterious monument. The secret tunnel goes to the northern part of the Sphinx, approximately in the middle between the outstretched paws and the tail ... "

The schematics were copied from archival documents belonging to the secret school prior to the sand-cleaning work that began in 1925 and discovered hidden entrance doors to long-forgotten reception halls, small temples and other outbuildings. The knowledge of the secret schools was reinforced by a number of outstanding discoveries 1935 years, which provided evidence of the existence of additional passages and rooms that literally permeated the area where the Pyramids were located.

A new search system was installed on an orbiting satellite in 1998 which resulted in the precise location of 27 previously unexcavated objects.

C With the help of a program of research from space, Egyptologists are able to determine the location of the main object, the likely entrance and the size of the premises before excavation. Three main locations are given particular attention: a desert site a few hundred meters west-southwest of the original location of the Black Pyramid, around which a colossal seven-meter-tall concrete wall system is currently being erected, enclosing an area of eight square kilometers; the ancient path that connected the Luxor temple with Karnak, and the "Road of Horus" passing through the north of the Sinai Peninsula.

The traditional teaching of the mystics or members of the Egyptian secret schools explained that the Great Pyramid was great in many ways. Despite the fact that the pyramid was closed before 820 year n. e., representatives of secret teachings in pre-Christian Egypt claimed that its interior was well known to them.

They constantly emphasized that this building is not a grave or some kind of crypt, although there is a special room in it for a symbolic funeral ceremony as part of the initiation ritual. According to the tradition of the mystics, they entered the interior gradually, moving from level to level, through underground corridors.

There was talk of the existence of different chambers at the end of each level as they progressed, and the highest stage of the initiation ritual, representing what we now call the Royal Quarters. Little by little, the traditions of the secret schools were checked against the results of archaeological discoveries, and, finally, in 1935 It was confirmed the existence of an underground communication between the Sphinx and the Great Pyramid, as well as the fact that the tunnel connected the statue of the Sphinx with the ancient temple located on its southern side (called today the Temple of the Sphinx). As grand 11 Émile Baraise's year-long project to clean the monuments from sand and seashells was nearing completion, and amazing stories began to emerge about the discoveries made during the cleaning work.

Journal article written and published in 1935 Mr. Hamilton M. Wright, spoke of an extraordinary find in the sands of Giza; its authenticity is now denied. The article was backed up with original photographs taken by Dr. Selim Hassan, the author of the discovery and head of the Cairo University Research Party.

It said:

“... We found an underground path used by the ancient Egyptians 5 .000 years ago. It passed under the paved road that connected the second Pyramid and the Sphinx. It makes it possible to pass under the ground "pavement" from the Pyramid of Cheops to the Pyramid of Khafre. From this underground passage, we managed to free a whole series of mines from the ground, which went into the depths of more than 125 feet, and adjoining spacious platforms and side rooms ... "

On the maps of the Freemasons and Rosicrucians they are called "Campbell's Tomb"; And

“... this shaft complex,” said Dr. Selim Hassan, “ended in an impressive room, in the center of which there was another shaft, descending into a spacious courtyard, around which there were seven side rooms ...”

In some rooms there were huge, 18 -ti feet high, tightly closed sarcophagi of basalt and granite.

The next discovery was that in one of the seven rooms there was another, third in a row, vertical shaft, which led to a room located deep below. At the time of discovery, it was flooded with water, which almost hid the only white sarcophagus.

This chamber has been dubbed the "Tomb of Osiris" and its "first opening" was shown in a fake TV documentary in March. 1999 d. Although Dr. Selim Hassan, who actually explored this room, wrote:

“... We hope to discover important monuments after we pump out the water. The final depth of this series of shafts is over 40 meters ( 125 feet)... In the process of clearing the southern part of the underground path, a very beautiful head of the statue was found, with extremely expressive features... "

As stated in one of the newspaper reports of the time, the statue was an excellent sculpted bust of Queen Nefertiti and was named

"... an excellent example of this rare art form, discovered during the reign of Amonhotep..."

There is no information about the current whereabouts of this masterpiece.

The conclusion suggests itself that Ezra, chosen to write the Torah (about 397 BC BC), knew the layout of the underground passages and shelters of Giza before writing the book. This underground architectural design may have inspired the triangular arrangement around the main altar in the Masonic Lodge.

Josephus Flavius in Antiquities of the Jews I V. n. BC) wrote that Enoch, to the glory of the Old Testament, built an underground temple, which consisted of nine rooms.

A reception room, more like a burial chamber, but "undoubtedly intended for receptions and initiations," was discovered up the plateau towards the Great Pyramid, at the upper end of the sloping tunnel; it was carved deep into the rock on the northwestern side of the "Hall of Offerings", between the hall and the Great Pyramid.

Selim Hassan, published in 1944 by the Cairo State Publishing House under the title "Excavations at Giza" in 10 volumes.

However, this is only an insignificant fragment of true information about what is actually hidden by the sands in the area of the pyramids. In the last year of work to get rid of the sand, diggers stumbled upon the most amazing discovery that literally stunned humanity and which was trumpeted to the whole world by the international media.

Historical documents show that during the twentieth century. many sensational scientific discoveries have been made in the region of Giza and mountainous Sinai, not to mention today; and even the rumors that spread in Egypt about the discovery of another underground city and many others in 28 -kilometer zone around the Great Pyramid.

IN 1964 g. more 30 huge multi-level underground cities have been discovered in the ancient Turkish kingdom of Cappadocia. One such single city, consisting of caves, rooms and corridors, totaled, according to archaeologists, at least 2000 apartment buildings in which could live from 8000 before 10000 Human.

By their very existence, they prove that many such underground worlds lie under the surface of the Earth, waiting to be finally found. Excavations at Giza have uncovered underground roads, temples, sarcophagi and one city with a perfect and ramified layout, as well as the possibility that the underground passages connecting the Sphinx statue with the Pyramids are another step towards understanding that the entire complex was carefully thought out and organized with a specific purpose.

Official denials.

In connection with the excavations of Dr. Selim Hassan and modern methods of space search on the one hand, and the legends and traditions of the ancient Egyptian secret schools, which called for keeping the secrets of the knowledge of the Giza Plateau, on the other hand, the passions around these events were heated to the limit.

A typical example of the scholastic approach is published in 1972 Address from Harvard University:

“... No one should pay attention to the ridiculous statements regarding the internal structure of the Great Pyramid or the supposedly existing underground passages and unexcavated temples and halls in the sands in the area of the Pyramids; they are distributed by adherents of the so-called secret cults or secret societies of Egypt and the East. All our excavations in the area around the Pyramid have not found any underground passages or halls, no temples, no grottoes or anything of the sort, with the exception of one temple adjacent to the statue of the Sphinx ... "
