  • A: Leveling up will not give you crafting skills. Check the skill menu to find out what needs to be done for this. To increase the rank of abilities, you need to spend more time gathering and crafting items. Taming creatures also helps to increase the rank of skills.

Game world

Below is a map of the game world. It does not list spawn points that factions can take over, or any other information of this kind. It simply shows the approximate geography of the territory and the location of the 3 main cities.

In the game, you can move the map and waypoint, but at first you will not have any physical map. With the right development of skills, at some point you will be able to create a holographic map (Rune of Guidance) directly on the ground using magic, with a touch-sensitive movement indicator (looks beautiful, but it is of little use).

In addition, a bug often occurs when you frequently press the map button without calling the holographic projection itself, leading to the disappearance of the hit animation. Plus, the developers noted that the game world is only 30 percent ready so far (as of July 30).

Characters, factions and houses (tribes/guilds)

  • To be able to create a seal at home (crafted at a workbench), you will need to found a tribe or invite someone to your alliance.
  • In order to be able to create a war flag, you will need to first craft a seal at home.
  • Characters are tied to the server. Don't expect them to move to another site.
  • There are no racial or faction bonuses in the game (at least not yet).
  • You can create your own character or use templates for elves, dwarves and humans.
  • There are 3 factions in the game - choose the same group as your friends, as the remaining 2 factions will automatically become your enemies and you will not be able to join their houses (tribes).
  • You will not be able to change your faction later.
  • It doesn't matter how long it took you to create your hero - if you choose the human faction, then your hero automatically becomes a human.
  • You can create own house by pressing the "P" key or clicking on the corresponding menu with the mouse.
  • If necessary, you can change the name of your house, but the structures are not transferred. Keep this in mind so that you don't lose all your structures just because you want to change the name of the house.
  • You can invite people to your place by holding down the "E" key. Must be at least the head of the house.
  • All settings for the home can be changed in the corresponding menu, opened by pressing the "P" key.
  • House members do not have to enter codes on chests and doors every time - they will be able to open them without it (depending on their rank).
  • Heads of houses can enter into alliances and invite leaders of other tribes.
  • Your chat at home will become the same for everyone. In addition, your allies will be highlighted in blue from afar.
  • You can be in several alliances at once and use one chat to communicate with their members.

First dive into the world - quests

You will start the game near the city of your faction and will have to complete several training tasks, shown in the lower left corner.

  • The quest indicator in the lower left corner always shows you the quest that you were able to advance in one way or another. This is just a visual help, that is, there are no sections with "active quests" like in standard RPGs.
  • All quests (or rather, tasks) can be viewed in a special menu by pressing the "O" key. They depend on the character and his skill level.
  • Tasks can be executed in parallel to each other.
  • You won't be able to select an "active task", the game will do it for you.
  • The first non-working quest you will encounter is related to getting gold from merchants. You can simply ignore it or simply turn off the corresponding indicator.
  • Unfortunately, you will come across a lot of other non-working tasks. Just note somewhere that these quests should be completed in the future when the developers fix them.

How to extract resources - the most effective ways

Resources include barrels, which usually stand in cities and contain apples or gold coins. You can get their contents with your bare hands.

Level 0 Resources:

  • Grass, flowers and shrubs can be harvested with bare hands.
  • You will need magical shards, straw, wood, stone and twine to craft your first tools.

Level 1 Resources:

  • Use the ax on the cobblestones to mine the stone.
  • Use the ax on the trees to get apples and wood.
  • Use the Magic Stealer Staff on anything other than grass and bushes to get magic shards.
  • Use the pickaxe on the trees to get twine.
  • Use bare hands on the bushes for collecting blueberries.
  • Use the sword on the grass and bushes to collect flowers.
  • Using a tamed boar or an iron scythe will increase the collection of some level 0 and 1 resources.
  • The Scythe of the Dark Ghost can further increase the collection of certain level 0 and 1 resources. This item drops from Grim Reapers that spawn near fallen meteors.

Level 2 Resources:

  • Light Shards - mined from Light Shard deposits (translucent blue crystals) that are found near special objects, for example, a small lake located near a red rift (located near the human spawn).

Level 3 Resources:

  • Examine the bodies of dead creatures to find useful things.
  • Use a pickaxe or sword on the corpses of animals, characters or players to get meat.
  • Use an axe, sickle or scythe on dead animals to get fur.
  • Use a pickaxe or iron dagger on dead animals for bones and hides.

How to get farming materials, such as seeds?

How to quickly get the best tools and armor

If you want to get the best armor and tools for your character, then you need a workbench. Since this workstation is not part of a rented house and cannot be placed in cities, you will have to build yourself a dwelling first, not to mention developing the appropriate skills.

However, there are more easy way. There are craft stations in every city. They mostly work as standard and magic workbenches, but are separated into crafts. Therefore, if you, for example, need to create armor, then go to the armory (or its equivalent for other factions).

Take the necessary resources with you and start crafting. Remember that you will still need iron and copper ingots created in the smelter. We add that today it is impossible to repair your things in these stations for unknown reasons. Perhaps this will be fixed in the future.

Life in the city: features

If you consider yourself a lone wolf or one of those players who do not like PvP, but still play on PvP servers, then you should consider living in the city.

  • All major resources can be found in the city. You can just run around and collect useful materials.
  • Barrels with apples and gold coins are located in the city.
  • There are no mobs in the city, unless some unique event happens in it or one of the players decides to bring the monster with them.
  • Dead or unconscious people can be collected with the "G" key and used for bad purposes.
  • In cities, you can find merchants and sell them unnecessary things.
  • Merchants only buy what they show and only in certain quantities. In addition, they make transactions for one product strictly once a day, that is, if someone before you has already sold wood to them, then you will have to wait a day before you can sell them a similar resource.
  • You can give development money to merchants to level them up and make them more friendly to you. In addition, high-level merchants begin to sell more useful things (useful for cooks).
  • Donations also speed up the growth of cities, which increases the number of NPCs in them.
  • If you kill the merchant, he will not respawn the next day. In addition, no loot will fall from him. As a result, you will only complicate the life of your faction.
  • Not far from the stables you can buy one of the horses. In this case, a saddle will immediately appear in your inventory.
  • While sprinting, horses can deal damage, even to city guards. Therefore, we do not advise you to quickly run through the city streets.
  • If you attack the horses in the stable, they will run away, and then simply die. However, then they will be reborn.
  • Do not consider yourself completely safe in the city. If someone attacks you, the guards will not intervene.
  • If you attack the inhabitants of the city, they will either run away or start fighting you. The guards are the only characters that always fight back and win most of the time.
  • To rent a property, you must be in a house (tribe). Then just go to the board next to the house you would like to live in and deposit a certain amount of gold. Thus, you rent it for a certain period of time.

Why shouldn't you live in the city all the time?

Life in the city, of course, is good, but you should not be in it all the time (at least with a high-level character).

Main cons:

  • It is impossible to grow mushrooms and engage in high-level crafting. You will depend on barter with other players or raids.
  • It is impossible to build a workbench, a magic workbench and a blacksmith's forge.
  • It is difficult to keep tamed animals (there is simply not enough space).
  • It is impossible to build summoning portals, turrets and so on.
  • Unable to build storage box. However, products can be put in feeders.

How to survive? Sleep is for dweebs!

To survive in this world, you need to constantly monitor the scales of your current parameters, indicated in the lower right corner. The most important of these include hunger, thirst and concentration.

The basic mechanics are pretty easy to master:

  • Hunger, thirst and concentration are reduced right during the game.
  • Whenever you use stamina and your character regains it, you lose thirst and hunger, meaning they become stronger.
  • Whenever you use mana and your character recovers it, you lose focus.
  • Whenever you are too cold, your appetite will increase; when you are too hot, your thirst will increase.
  • This means that the longer you run, attack, or cast spells, the more supplies you will need.

How to reduce hunger:

  • You just need to eat something.
  • If you want to restore, say, 100 hunger with berries, then you will have to eat about 70 of them. Therefore, we advise you to better fry some meat.

How to reduce thirst:

  • Find a body of water and dive headlong into it.
  • Already on early stage game you will be able to create berry jam (requires some grass and 45 berries). It can be used to satisfy thirst and hunger. However, it deteriorates quite quickly, so it should be done only when necessary.
  • Later you will learn how to create glass bottles that can be filled with water.

How to restore concentration:

  • Sleep or eat flowers.
  • You can only sleep in sleeping bags, a canopy or a bed, but there are often situations where none of these options are suitable. In this case, we can advise you to eat flowers. 100 points of concentration can be restored with 100 flowers. They can be harvested from bushes or grass using a sword.
  • Later, you will be able to buy elixirs of concentration from vendors if you give them enough money to develop. These potions can also be crafted by yourself by unlocking the appropriate skill.

Let's add that your character does not disappear from the world after you leave the server, so it can be easily robbed. So try to find somewhere safe before leaving the game.

How to protect your property

If you do not want to be robbed, then you should know the following information:

  • If you have played ARK: Survival Evolved, then you will immediately figure out what's what, since there are few differences. Unless there are many more bugs and errors.
  • There is no offline protection (with the exception of printing at home).
  • Mobs spawning near meteorites will immediately attack your turrets, spikes or tamed animals if they are nearby. Therefore, we advise you not to build structures near meteorites.
  • Doors, gates, and windows cannot be opened by other players (with the exception of members of the same tribe).
  • Due to a bug, some players can still break into your house.
  • All your structures will be destroyed in a few days if you don't use them.
  • Beginner zones (near cities) are often filled with low-level characters that can be easily robbed.
  • Structures can be damaged by any means and at any time. There is no defense like "stone buildings can only be destroyed with stone tools".
  • Spells such as telekinesis or shift make it possible to get into someone else's house with a small probability.
  • If you don't have anything to store and you don't have a seal yet, you can always make your home look like it's already been broken into.
  • You can hide high level houses in low level buildings.
  • You can create hidden rooms or just empty rooms. A huge number of small rooms in which there is nothing will be a real test for marauders.
  • Spikes or multiple walls can drive away thieves.

Logs at home

These logs (including alliance logs) can show you:

  • who did you kill
  • who killed your pets;
  • which player demolished one or another of your buildings.

If you are raided and your character or pet is killed, then you will know who attacked you. This will help you find the offenders and pay them back with the same coin.

However, the system will not show you who just stole some of your belongings or destroyed a couple of building elements. However, you can leave an animal with a low amount of health in your dwelling and give him the task of guarding the house. In this case, the intruder will surely kill your creature and you will learn its name.

Codes to enter

Codes are set on doors, chests, windows and other similar things. That is, they cannot be opened without having the right combination on hand.

However, there is a big problem with the codes now. The fact is that it does not offer protection against players who enter incorrect combinations. As a result, players can easily find the correct number sequence using special scripts.

For this reason, today it makes no sense to set codes for gates, doors, and so on. True, you can set passwords for chests. The fact is that if a player, as a result of a bug, gets into your house and opens an uncoded chest, then he will immediately teleport back. Otherwise, the thief will get stuck in your building.

Printing at home
