New Year's luminous bottles how to do it yourself. How to make a night lamp from a glass bottle. How to make a stylish do-it-yourself night lamp

Ordinary wine bottles can easily be turned into original Christmas decoration. They can be decorated with different ways: paint in stained glass technique, give them an unusual texture or use them as interesting New Year's garlands. To make such a craft, you will need improvised materials and the bottle itself. We will show you three master classes on how to make original New Year's bottles with your own hands.

Master class number 1: decorating a New Year's bottle with sparkles

A wine bottle with overflows of gold can complement any New Year's interior. With this craft, you can decorate the New Year's composition, put a few spruce branches and brushes with berries in the bottle itself, or leave it as an independent New Year's decor.

materials

To decorate a New Year's bottle with sparkles, you will need:

  • an empty wine bottle;
  • glue for decoupage;
  • dry golden sequins;
  • brush;
  • fine-grained sandpaper;
  • paper;
  • paper napkin.

Step 1. First of all, you will need to prepare the bottle for work. To do this, wipe its surface with a damp cloth, removing dirt and dust. For better adhesion to the glue, sand the glass with sandpaper. Wipe the bottle again with a soft, dry cloth to remove any remaining glass dust. This work is best done in a well-ventilated area.

Step 2. Apply decoupage glue to the bottle with a brush. Before the glue dries, sprinkle glitter on its surface, after covering the desktop with paper. Leave the bottle to dry.

Step 3. After the glue dries, remove excess glitter using a dry brush. If there are spots left on the surface of the bottle that are not filled with decor, eliminate these gaps by re-lubricating them with a thin layer of glue and sprinkling with a small amount of sparkles.

After the glue has dried, your New Year's bottle is ready. If you wish, so that the sparkles do not crumble in the future, you can cover the surface of the decorated bottle with varnish in the form of a spray.

Master class number 2: decoupage of the New Year's bottle with salt

Could be very interesting wine bottle if it is painted in White color and decorate with coarse salt. Visually, this craft seems to be slightly powdered with snow. It is best to use such decorative techniques for solid New Year's compositions.

materials

To decorate a New Year's bottle with decoupage salt, you will need:

  • bottles of wine and champagne;
  • primer;
  • coarse salt;
  • decoupage glue.

Step 1. Get your bottles ready. To do this, remove the labels from their surface. For one New Year's composition, you can take several bottles of different heights and shapes at once. So the craft will look original.

Step 2. Apply a thick coat of primer to the surface of the bottle. Let it dry thoroughly.

Step 3. On a bottle coated with a primer, spray decoupage glue or gently apply it with a soft brush.

Step 4. While the glue is not dry, sprinkle the glass surface with coarse salt. You can pour a layer of salt on a thick cardboard or piece of plastic and carefully roll the bottle in it, it will even be easier. Do not decorate the bottle with salt all the way to the neck, otherwise it will not look so attractive and organic.

After the glue has completely dried, your New Year's bottle of salt is ready for composition. You can put it on the same tray with other similar bottles, complement them with white and silver Christmas decorations, painted with silver paint, twigs and candles.

Master class number 3: New Year's garland from a bottle

The usual New Year's garland can look very original if it is not hung on the wall or decorated with a Christmas tree, but placed entirely in a bottle of champagne or wine. This work has its own nuances and difficulties, but it's worth it. A bottle with a garland inside looks like a spectacular lamp and, moreover, is fireproof.

materials

To make a New Year's garland from a bottle, make sure you have:

  • the bottle itself;
  • Garlands;
  • screwdrivers;
  • hammer;
  • goggles;
  • protective gloves;
  • drill;
  • drills;
  • adhesive tape.

Step 1. Get your bottle ready. To do this, rinse it off the wine, remove the label from the outside and let it dry completely.

Step 2. Put on goggles, gloves, and using a hammer and screwdriver, make a small incision in the bottom of the bottle. Start drilling the hole at the location marked in this way. Do this carefully so that the bottle does not burst. You can put a few drops of water into the hole that has formed so that the drill and the glass itself do not overheat. If you do not have a drill, you can continue to form a hole with a screwdriver and hammer, but be prepared for the fact that you will not succeed in doing the job neatly and, most likely, a small piece of glass will fall out.

Step 3. Fill the garland through the hole formed in the bottle, leaving only the wire with the plug outside.

Step 4. If your hole is large, seal it with tape so that the garland does not fall out of the bottle during operation.

Your original Christmas garland is ready. You can place the bottle under the tree or on the bedside table and turn it on while enjoying the cozy Christmas light.

It's easy to make your holiday special! It is not necessary to spend big money on purchased decor. Today we will tell you about a wonderful interior little thing - a caramel garland. It has a special charm and versatility, because it is suitable for any holidays. On the eve of the New Year, do not be too lazy to make such an ornament. It will come in handy more than once, tested on my own experience!

How to make a garland

At the heart of our creation is an LED garland. You can use any that you already have. Take a few plastic bottles the same volume. I had cookie containers. They will perfectly protect the bulbs from the weather if you want to hang a garland on the street. Colored paper will make the garland bright and a little magical. Everything else can be bought at the craft store.

YOU WILL NEED

  • electric garland
  • plastic bottles or boxes
  • colored wrapping paper or plastic bags
  • scissors
  • wire cutters
  • tape or wire

Here are some more options, how to make a garland with your own hands from plastic bottles. Let your holiday be bright and unforgettable!

Cut off the bottom of the bottle and make a hole in it for the LED bulb. Get original flowers!

If you paint the bottom of the bottle with snowflakes and fasten it correctly, an interesting Christmas tree will come out. On the wire, such snowflakes also look good.

Even multi-colored plastic can be skillfully used as a decor. A little imagination and scissors, that's all you need.

How to decorate your house before the holiday is an age-old problem that I will help you solve!

Festive bottles are bottles with a spark, in the truest sense of the word. They are very easy to make, and most importantly, cheap. The money you save is better spent on candy for the kids and holiday punch for the adults! :)

For illumination we will use LEDs.

Step 1: What we need

1. Drill (not necessary if using battery-powered diodes)
2. Drill with diamond crown (see point 1)
3. 20 white LED bulbs
4. Bottle

The total cost is approximately $10.

You can experiment with the number and color of LED bulbs. As for the color of the bottles, I used dark brown glass bottles. The light passing through them is very warm and pleasant, and when the bulbs are turned off, they are practically invisible through the glass.

Step 2: Let's get started!

First, the most important rule to remember is that water and electricity don't mix, so be careful and use an air tool.

Secondly, this step can be skipped if you are using battery operated diodes.

The basin needs to be filled with water, and the bottle should be placed in it so that the water hides it a little. To prevent the bottle from floating, it is better to fill it with water. Pressing firmly on the drill, make a hole in the bottle at an angle of about 30 degrees. This is the hole for the switch. Hold the drill tightly, it is important that the drill does not play and scratch the glass. Drill at slow and medium speeds, there is no need to rush, patience in this situation is our friend.

When the hole is ready, pat yourself on the shoulder.

Now it remains to wipe the bottle and let it dry. When the bottle is dry, put the diodes inside and enjoy! :)

An LED strip can turn any fancy bottle of wine into an amazing (and useful!) souvenir.

Use these light bottles to illuminate dark corners, as a night light, or as a holiday decoration.

The trick to turning glass bottles into lamps is to drill a hole in the side of the bottle.

The opening should be large enough to let the LED strip through. This can be easily done with a few special tools.

We will need:

  • LED garland with 3m battery
  • Glass bottle
  • Razor
  • Glue Remover
  • Diamond Hole Saw
  • Drill
  • masking tape
  • Gloves
  • Protective glasses
  • Electric engraver with grinding cylinder
  • Wand (optional)

short LED Strip Light- 3 meters long, about 55 LEDs - will perfectly fill a standard glass bottle. The LEDs stay cool to the touch, so you don't have to worry about the glass heating up. Using a battery will allow you to place the lamp bottle anywhere, regardless of the electrical outlet.

Step 1.

Prepare the bottle by removing all labels from the glass - use a razor to scrape off the paper. Wipe glass with adhesive remover and wash with warm soapy water. Let dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Step 2

Glue painter's tape to the bottom of the bottle. This will mark the place where we will drill, and will not allow the drill to slip off.

Step 3

Put on protective gloves and goggles. Place the diamond bit at a 45 degree angle to the tape and mark the cut. Then turn the drill 90 degrees and continue drilling until you win. A light pressure is enough to drive the diamond drill through the glass. This may take up to a minute. Watch for glass powder to see if the process is going on.

Step 4

Remove the masking tape and then gently grind away any chips and sharp edges in the drilled hole with an engraver.

Step 5

Rinse the bottle thoroughly to remove all drilling and grinding residues. Let dry completely before moving on to the next step.

How to make a night lamp out of glass bottle with your own hands. If you drill a small hole in the bottom of a figured empty glass bottle, you can design a home-made lamp - a night light powered by a 220-volt network. For the manufacture we need a glass bottle. Beautiful night lamps are obtained from dark glass bottles, then the bulbs inside will add volume to the whole structure. Drilling a bottle with your own hands should not cause problems when carefully repeating the process presented. The source of light in the bottle can be a Christmas tree garland from New Year's stocks with point light sources, otherwise the bulbs will not fit into the neck :). You will also need a power cord and electrical tape.

If a garland with incandescent lamps is used, then a garland with more than 25-35 bulbs should not be installed due to possible overheating of the lamp contents. This restriction does not apply to LED garlands.

How to make a stylish do-it-yourself night lamp

The assembly instructions are simple and should not cause problems when repeating the lamp from the bottle.

1. We select the glass one you like and there is a hole in it. Holes with a diameter of 6mm are enough. The edge of the hole is not sharp and does not pose a danger to the power cord.

2. After drilling, carefully dry the bottle upside down. Moisture inside shouldn't be!.

3. We take the power cord and through drilled hole we put it in a bottle and take it out of the neck.

4. We clean the ends of the power cord. Check that the cord disabled! If these words are not clear, stop working and study the rules of electrical safety - this is useful.

5. So that the cord does not jump out of the bottle, we make a simple knot at its end with our own hands. Look at the photo.

6. Cut off the plug from the garland and also clean the ends of the wires.

7. We connect the power cord with a garland (twisting, soldering or crimping with lugs) and carefully insulate, for example, with electrical tape, each junction of the wires.

8. Gently put the garland inside the bottle. If the wires of the garland are soft, then during operation and heating of the air in the bottle, the entire garland may move closer to the bottom of the bottle. To maintain the system in volume, you can tie black threads in some parts of the garland (do not damage the insulation) and, after setting up the garland, pull the necessary sections to the required height and fasten the threads on the neck.

9. Turn on the do-it-yourself night light and adjust the position of the garland. At least some air exchange passes through the neck and you should not close it. See photos and videos.
