At the Beginner level, the basics of the basics go through - the simplest constructions. At the same time - and the most important, because all the complex grammar of higher levels will be based on them.
At this level, a lot of attention is paid to forms - again, to achieve a certain automatism in simple things like I am, you are, he is. Grammar constructions at the Beginner level are mostly treated separately from each other to avoid confusion of comparisons and nuances.

What is grammar?
English grammar is a set of rules that allow you to link individual words into sentences. Russian and English grammars have similarities and differences. Similar features help us learn a foreign language, and differences in grammatical systems create certain difficulties in learning it. Therefore, special attention in the study of grammar foreign language it is necessary to pay attention to those features that are not observed in the native language.
English grammar can be roughly divided into two sections: parts of speech and tenses. Chapter "Parts of Speech", in turn, is divided into subsections: numerals, pronouns, adverbs, prepositions, articles, adjectives, nouns and verbs. Chapter "Time" contains general information about tenses in English and tries to make each student friends with tenses Simple groups, at times the Continuous group, at times the Perfect and Perfect Continuous groups.
Why do we need to learn English grammar?
If you think that English grammar is not for you and is not required to study, then you are deeply mistaken. English grammar is a skeleton on which other equally important topics are strung: punctuation, syntax and vocabulary. The ability to correctly and clearly express your thoughts is always a plus for your karma.
When learning English, you do not need to focus only on the rule and its clear formulation, because every rule is full of exceptions. Listen more, try to perceive the forms of constructing sentences by ear. Do not cram grammar, use it by inventing your own examples using the learned words. So practice as often as you can!
Parts of speech in English grammar
Every word in the English language belongs to a special category - parts of speech or part of speech. All parts of speech can be divided into 2 categories: independent and official. The independent parts of speech are: noun(noun) adjective(adjective) state category words(the stand), pronoun(noun) numeral(numeral), verb(verb) adverb(adverb). They denote objects, phenomena, their properties, states, actions and express the attitude of the speaker to the expressed thought.
Service parts of speech do not denote objects, phenomena, qualities, actions. They convey various connections and relationships between words - prepositions(prepositions), between words and between sentences - unions(junctions). They define words and groups of words to which they belong - particles(particles), and indicate the belonging of the word to a certain part of speech - articles(articles). Service words are not members of sentences and do not form them.
Interjection(interjections) are a special part of speech, they do not belong to either independent or auxiliary parts of speech. They express various feelings, but do not name them.
In English, there are words that are used as different parts of speech, and it depends on which part of the sentence this word is used in. For example:
My friend works everyday.- My friend works every day. (Work acts as a verb and shows the action of the subject in the sentence)

What do we build proposals from?
Offer- a combination of words that expresses a complete thought. There are 3 types of offers: narrative, interrogative and imperative. Every English sentence has two mandatory element: subject- the main character of the proposal (answers the question "who?", "What?"), predicate- what the subject does (answers the question "what to do?").
Subject- this is what the main speech of the sentence is about. It can refer to a person or an object. As a rule, the subject is at the beginning of the sentence.
The subject in English is the main member of any proposal. No sentence is built without a subject. In English, it can be expressed as a noun, pronoun, numeral, infinitive, or gerund.
Most people prefer to spend their free time outdoors. Many people prefer to spend their free time outdoors.
She works at a pizza restaurant.- She works at a pizzeria.

There is also formal subject. In sentences where the character or subject absent, it is necessary to use (for formality, literacy) the subject "It" or "There", which do not carry any meaning for us and are not translated into Russian:

Predicate is the main member of the sentence, which means action and shows the activity of the subject. The predicate in English always follows the subject, that is, they are related to each other.
The predicate is divided into 2 groups: simple and compound. The compound predicate is divided into 2 types: compound nominal and compound verb.
A simple predicate can be expressed by a verb in any time(write - wrote), bail(write - is written) and inclination(You write - you should write), and also phrasal verb(take care, look after, get out).
Design compound nominal predicate as follows: linking verb(to be or some other verbs (to grow, to get, to become)) + nominal part(noun, pronoun).
She has been a student.- She was a student.
It is mine.- It is mine.
Design compound verb predicate as follows: modal verb + infinitive.

Complement(Object)- this is already a minor member of the sentence, which in the English sentence follows the predicate. There are two main types of complement in English: direct and indirect. The direct object corresponds to the Russian genitive case (whom? what?). And the indirect object corresponds to the rest of the cases: - dative (whom? what?) - accusative (whom? what?) - creative (whom? what?) - prepositional (about whom? about what?).

Word order in a simple sentence
A characteristic feature of sentences in English is fixed word order.
It is of great importance in modern English, because, due to the poorly represented morphological system in the language, sentence members are often distinguished only by their place in the sentence. The usual word order in an English sentence is:

- followed by predicate;
- then addition;
- and finally circumstance of place and time.

Articles are three special words in English

The order of construction of proposals

The possessive case of the word (Whose?) determines the next noun and is always placed in the preposition (before) of the noun being defined. The analogue in Russian is a possessive adjective or genitive case: children's room - children's room or children's room.

The infinitive form agrees with the Present Indefinite, excluding "to" in all persons, with the exception of the third person singular, which takes the ending "-s (-es)". In this case, this ending is pronounced differently:

Questions
There are two kinds of unusual questions in English. Here we will talk about them.

Well, with one-syllable words, everything is clear. Now let's deal with the grammar of disyllabic and complex lexical units. In two-syllable and three-syllable words, the stress is read on the first syllable, in most cases. But in compound words, where there are two or more stems, the first word acquires a greater intonation, that is, stress.
