Cooking in a kenwood kitchen machine. Unlimited culinary possibilities with the KENWOOD kitchen machine. Mango and hazelnut meringue

Finally! We got around to filming and showing you our kitchen machine - Kenwood Chef Titanium KMC010.

In the preface, I’ll say that I can’t even imagine how I managed without it before - in many moments it makes my work in the kitchen easier. Kneading, whipping, grinding, mixing, etc. and so on. 🙂 Yes, the thing is certainly not cheap, but definitely worth the money.

First, a little general characteristics from the manufacturer.

  • Power - 1400 watts.
  • The volume of the bowl is 4.6 liters.

There are 6 speeds, including slow stirring, plus a pulse mode. There are three connectors for different nozzles.

I must say right away that with a stationary mixer, my kitchen affairs were greatly optimized. Because I can leave the dough to whip or knead and do other things at the same time. Hands are free 🙂

In the main function, everything is clear - whipping biscuit and pancake dough, meringue, cream. I use the same nozzle to make some oil creams. But there is one caveat: he does not want to beat a small amount of the product (for example, only 2 proteins). So for safety, I have a small hand mixer.

I make mashed potatoes with the same nozzle - I already forgot the last time I used a potato masher 🙂 The mashed potatoes are the most tender.

An indispensable piece for kneading yeast dough. Of course I love tactile contact with live dough, but I just can’t stand kneading it on the table with my hands for 10-15 minutes. With dough for pizza, rolls, Easter cakes, strudel, the hook copes perfectly. Again, there is a pleasant “set it and forget it” moment.

K nozzle(in the original K-beater)

To be honest, I use it the least. Why - I will explain below. In the meantime - about the functions. This attachment is suitable for kneading cake dough, crushing cookies into crumbs (for example, for the base of a cheesecake), and also for making mashed potatoes. But in the latter case, I personally like the whisk more 😉

And now - my favorite 🙂 She is the reason why the K-shaped nozzle is not very in demand for me. This - Soft Mix Nozzle Flexi Beater. Rubber. Well, or from some other flexible material 🙂

Beautiful, wonderful and unique. If you decide to buy Kenwood and this nozzle is not included in the kit, try to buy it in addition.

The advantage of this nozzle is that it scrapes dough-cream-butter and similar substances from the walls of the bowl, which other nozzles do not. Therefore, it is very convenient for her to mix creams, knead cake and shortbread dough. And also - stretch butter if it's from the fridge, and you need it softened right now 😉

It's all pretty traditional here. Three grids with different mesh sizes, attachments for sausages, a piece for pushing meat into the meat grinder funnel. Most often I use the largest grid. And the smallest one is ideal for making gentle minced chicken for snack terrines.

During operation, one minus surfaced: this meat grinder cannot be washed in a dishwasher. And I, not knowing, washed. That's why she looks so shabby, unfortunately 🙁

This is both a coffee grinder and a spice grinder. I grind my mixtures like “5 spices” in it. I also make almond flour in it. And I just grind nuts for various muffins, biscuits and pies. Powdered sugar in it turns out tolerable, but for some purposes it is still coarse.

The kit comes with 2 additional glass jars with lids - they can be used for storage. Very comfortably.

Thick tempered glass. Therefore, you can safely grind hot mashed soups in it - right from the heat of the heat. I am silent about all kinds of milkshakes - and everything is clear 🙂 I tried to crush ice for cocktails in it - not an option, unfortunately. But cocktails like “Frozen Daiquiri” and “Margaritas” are very, very convenient to make in it.

Centrifuge. The roar is sometimes loud. But it perfectly presses juice from apples, carrots, beets, celery, cucumbers, etc. I throw oranges there, after cutting off the skin. The cake does not come out mega-dry, but for a juicer-nozzle, I think it is squeezed quite decently.

The main drawback, like all juicers, is that it needs to be washed, which is not very convenient 🙂 Plus, the kit comes with a special hard brush that speeds up the process of washing the perforated drum.

Also included is a glass of 750 ml for draining the squeezed juice.

My joy in the summer months 🙂 It consists of several parts. The main strategic part is a bowl with double walls. Metal inside, plastic outside. Between the walls is a special liquid. This bowl is frozen in the freezer of the refrigerator for 5-6 hours.

Then it is inserted into such a bowl.

A stirrer is also placed there, the bowl is covered with a special lid and inserted into the place of the main bowl in the kitchen machine. Then everything is simple: we lower the upper part of the machine, start the engine, pour in the ice cream blank in the process - and it turns it there, freezes it for 40-45 minutes. Then ice cream in a container - and in the freezer. And there is no need to interfere.

Ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbets are excellent.

There is one minus: in summer, when the heat is +30-35, it is difficult to make ice cream, because. The ice cream maker itself defrosts too quickly. Well, I think it’s not necessary to say that if you have prepared one ice cream in 45 minutes, you won’t be able to cook the second right after (you never know, you need assorted). But these are minor nuances.

There is one bonus in the ice cream parlour, which is not related to ice cream. This white plastic bowl can be used as the main one - for example, for making creams and cold dough 😉

In addition to the above nozzles, I have a special nozzle for dicing. She turned out to be the most useless of all and now just takes up space in the closet. For me, it normally cuts only cucumbers and boiled beets. Everything else is tearing or smearing 🙁 That's why I didn't even take a picture of her. Unfortunately I can't recommend.

In general, Kenwood produces a bunch of other nozzles. Like that:

  • Several nozzles for pasta - for rolling, cutting pasta of different widths and squeezing curly pasta like horns;
  • Mill for cereals;
  • Press for rubbing berries;
  • Citrus juicer;
  • Nozzle for sifting and wiping (a la sieve);
  • Nozzle-vegetable cutter;
  • Grater.

Well, others.

Personally, the mill for cereals haunts me - while I am ripening on this topic.

I hope I explained in detail. If you have any questions - ask in the comments 🙂

This is what a small corner behind the bar looks like.

A cozy establishment welcomed us with drinks for every taste and cookies.

As well as the products from which we will cook.

We were given an apron (which were later presented) and the menu of the evening. And the menu was: "Risotto with zucchini, cherry tomatoes and grano cheese served", "Spaghetti with champignon sauce", "Minestrone soup" and for dessert "Quick pumpkin jam with pear and vanilla flavor"
It all started with the presentation of the new Kenwood kitchen machine, which now not only mixes, chop and whips, but now also cooks! Yes, yes, you can safely throw away all the saucepans and acquire one such machine! I did not take a picture of the presentation itself, there was a slide show with a story about new benefits.

The main advantage is what is under the main bowl a heating element, which means that right in the bowl you can cook anything and even steamed dishes. The electronic scoreboard shows temperature regime and some more information.

Also, the nozzles have changed, they have become more "solid" and there is an insert for steaming.

The whole process was led by chef Pavel Rogozhin,

while the students listened carefully.

and then actively helped.

First, in a matter of minutes, we made spaghetti dough and sent it to rest in the refrigerator.

Then we started making the risotto. First, using a dicing tool, cut the zucchini.

A immersion blender minced shallots.

We cooked by dividing into two teams of “lazy people and hard workers”: “lazy people” cooked in a Kenwood car, and “hard workers” in a pot on the stove. And then decide which one tastes better. The “lazy people” had the task of only adding wine and broth on time, the machine did everything else for them, and the “workers” continuously stirred and poured the broth, and monitored the temperature of the stove. We did this in order to see if the taste would differ from the method of preparation. The final was predictable risotto was delicious in both cases. Friendship won and we combined both pots into one and enjoyed a wonderful risotto with vegetables.
With the help of such a spatula, risotto was prepared.

And this is the result of our joint creation.

And in conclusion, for dessert, there was pumpkin jam with pears. Pumpkin and pear were also cut into cubes. The vanilla sticks had a crazy flavor.

So, let's start with the simplest - charlotte. For two minutes, eggs and sugar were beaten in a combine with a whisk at maximum speed.

After adding flour and others to the bowl of the combine, knead the dough with a mixer at maximum speed.

This is what the finished charlotte looks like. It is very tasty and fluffy.
Charlotte is the simplest, but the first in the study, of course, was the favorite shortbread pie.
About, . But with the combine, the process has accelerated so much that at least every day they bake! Therefore, here - only about how the combine helps.

Shortbread dough is better to knead with a hook, it seems to me, unlike dough for charlotte, which is convenient to knead with a mixer.

This is what the finished shortcrust pastry looks like in a food processor bowl.

Nevertheless, after the combine, the dough for dumplings had to be kneaded with hands for just a couple of minutes additionally, because in the opinion of more experienced cooks, it still turns out to be insufficiently elastic and damp.

We make dumplings. But first, let me tell you about one problem.

For the first time, they kneaded the dough with a combine and did not keep track, because it got into the groove for the nozzle and then had to be picked out with ear sticks for several minutes. By the way, if suddenly such a misfortune happens to you, remember: no matter how ridiculous it sounds, but the method is excellent - ordinary ear sticks will help clear all the grooves very quickly.

We make dumplings with gloves on. Well, yes, it’s me, because, besides the head, the main tool of the hostess is her hands, and they need to be groomed and cherished, and her friends without, are not used to yet.

Ready dumplings, it remains to cook.
I won’t make one dumpling: nevertheless, it takes a lot of time, even if you mix the dough with a combine. But !

I made the following conclusion for myself: a food processor really saves time and energy, therefore, in household necessary. Almost all of its parts can be washed in the dishwasher, for example, everything necessary for kneading dough, so maintenance is also easy.
It remains to try something that never worked well: yeast dough. I hope that you can cook it with a food processor quickly.
Do you use a food processor for kneading dough, friends?

“I have loved cooking since childhood. My first vivid memory is of helping my mother make an apple pie. And since I am the eldest daughter, I had to learn culinary wisdom before anyone else. And I must say, these skills are very useful in life. Now I myself have two children, a husband, and friends and numerous relatives are always welcome guests in our house.

I always read with interest about new kitchen gadgets and buy the most necessary ones. And not so long ago I had a chance to learn about one miracle of technology, which completely turned all my ideas about modern cuisine.

A virtuoso of his craft

In short, this machine does absolutely everything: chop, chop, grind, grind, mix, whip. In general, she can cook anything, from simple salads to gourmet hot dishes or desserts. In fact, it alone can replace any mixers, blenders, combines, meat grinders and juicers combined. Free space in the cabinets will immediately increase. In addition, the car looks solid and very stylish. Your kitchen will be transformed in no time. Another plus is that the variety of nozzles allows you to assemble a kitchen machine in the configuration that you need.

So, I'm talking about my feelings from communicating with this miracle technique.

Very impressed with a bowl made of solid stainless steel for mixing. The handles are made so that it will not slip even from wet hands. Inside there is a scale of divisions in glasses and milliliters. Therefore, you do not have to measure and weigh anything additionally. I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness. The standard volume of 4.6 liters allows you to knead the dough for 4 loaves or 32 mini-cakes at a time. But this is far from the limit. With the 6.7 liter XL bowl you can make even more dough.

Personally, I was pleased with the fact that to manage with kitchen machine very simple. Although, frankly, I'm afraid of too complicated household appliances. But this is definitely not about the KENWOOD kitchen machine. You understand the control system, the installation of nozzles and the principle of their operation easily and quickly. One has only to start working with it, the hands themselves already know how and what to do. And if anything, you can always look at the instructions with a clear description and pictures.

Home baking as art

There are more than 20 nozzles in the KENWOOD collection. The meat grinder attachment makes excellent minced meat, poultry and fish, and the sausage attachment makes amazing kebabs. Nozzles for rolling dough will provide you with dumplings and dumplings with fillings for every taste. You can also cook homemade lasagna with it. I, as a fan of Italian cuisine, appreciated a whole set of pasta nozzles: for spaghetti, and for tagliatelle, and for curly pasta.

Those who cook a lot and often will appreciate the low speed grater-slicer and vegetable cutter attachment. They are supplied with sets of drums and discs with holes of different sizes, which easily and simply chop hard and soft ingredients. I especially recommend them to anyone who diligently prepares homemade pickles every year. And there is also a dicing attachment that will give the slices the perfect shape. And all this - in seconds and without any effort.

There is also a “food processor” attachment that will chop, chop and grate anything in no time. with her on preliminary training will take a minimum of time.

The multi-grinder attachment grinds nuts and aromatic herbs into fabulous seasonings. Gourmet sauces, marinades and baby food dishes are also wonderful with it. By the way, the kit includes four airtight jars in which all cooked goodies will be stored even longer.

The blender attachment whips the ingredients into a soft flowing silky mass. The cereal grinder will make fresh flour for every taste. With a nozzle for wiping vegetables and fruits, there will never be a question of what to interest the little picky. In addition, it can be used to wipe cottage cheese or ingredients for pastry, as well as quickly sift flour.

And the KENWOOD kitchen machine with the help of special nozzles can prepare drinks. The juicer attachment is suitable for making any juice, while maintaining all the vitamins intact. For lovers of citrus juices, there is a separate nozzle. Using the berry press attachment, you can delicately process the pulp and clean it from the smallest particles. Another nice bonus is the ice cream maker. Amazing desserts performed by her will bring indescribable pleasure to the sweet tooth.

The KENWOOD kitchen machine opens up the process of cooking from a new perspective. This unique technique new generation, combining all the most important functions. She equally easily copes with both elementary and challenging tasks requiring professional skills. And most importantly, the KENWOOD kitchen machine is designed to work with both large and small volumes, that is, it will be a great helper for both large and small families. By entrusting the most tedious work to her, you will begin to enjoy the preparation of everyday dishes.
