"When trying to penetrate the territory of the military camp, the bandit group was discovered by a military detachment, which entered into battle with it. Six attackers were destroyed," the Russian Guard said in a statement.

The department noted that the fighters managed to prevent the militants from entering the facility.

"The bandits were found to have firearms and ammunition, and on the bodies of two of them - dummies of suicide belts," the National Anti-Terrorism Committee said.
