In our latitudes, in addition to cabbage, one of the cheapest and most common vegetables is potatoes. The combination of these vegetables in a stew makes the dish very satisfying and easy to prepare. If desired, at the stage of adding potatoes to the dish, you can put 300 g of minced meat.

Ingredients:

  • Cabbage - 0.5 heads;
  • Potatoes - 4-5 pcs.;
  • garlic cloves - 3 pcs.;
  • Onion - 1 pc.;
  • Carrots - 1 pc.;
  • Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • Odorless vegetable oil - 4 tbsp. l.;
  • Water - 300 ml;
  • Bay leaf - 3 pcs.;
  • Black peppercorns, salt and spices to taste.

Cooking process:

  1. Wash and clean vegetables (carrots, potatoes and onions). Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, cut the onion into small cubes, cut the potatoes into 4-6 pieces.
  2. Pour sunflower oil into the bottom of the bowl, put onions and carrots, set the “Baking” mode. Fry with an open lid for about 5 minutes, stirring so as not to burn.
  3. Put the potatoes in the fry, fry everything in the same mode for 10-15 minutes. This is done so that the potatoes are covered with a beautiful crispy crust; it is not necessary to bring the potatoes to full readiness.
  4. Finely chop the cabbage.
  5. Turning off the “Baking” program, pour the chopped cabbage into the slow cooker, throw in the same garlic, tomato sauce, bay leaf, salt to your liking and put peppercorns.
  6. Pour in water and mix well. Close the lid of the device, start the "Extinguishing" program, cook the dish for 1 hour.
  7. At the end of the stewing mode, you can add pre-washed and chopped greens (fresh or frozen), add spices to your liking. A popular addition to this dish is cilantro.

Cabbage with chicken


For those who for some reason cannot eat red meat, there is a recipe for stewed cabbage with chicken. Chicken cooks quickly and costs less than other types of meat.

Cooking time: 45 min.

Ingredients:

  • White cabbage - 700-800 g;
  • Chicken meat - 400 g;
  • Carrots - 3 pcs.;
  • Onion - 3 pcs.;
  • Odorless vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp. l.;
  • Tomato paste - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • Bay leaf - 1 pc.;
  • Salt and ground black pepper - to taste.

Cooking process:

  1. Defrost chicken meat. Any parts of the chicken are suitable for cooking, while they must be properly processed: remove excess fat, remove the skin and rinse the meat with cold water. Dry with paper towels.
  2. Cut the meat into small pieces, and if it is legs or wings, then leave in pieces or cut where possible.
  3. Peel the carrots and onions, cut the onions into small cubes, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
  4. In the slow cooker, set the “Frying” mode, pour vegetable oil into the bowl, wait for it to heat up. Pour the meat, onions and carrots into the bowl. Fry the mixture for about 10 minutes. until the vegetables are golden brown, stir to prevent burning.
  5. Remove the top leaves with defects from the cabbage, chop finely with a knife. Mash shredded cabbage with your hands.
  6. Add cabbage to the chicken with vegetables, salt, pepper, put bay leaves, spices and tomato paste. You can also add some water.
  7. Set the "Extinguishing" mode for 30 minutes. (for young cabbage) or 40 min. If desired, in the preparation of such a dish, you can use Bell pepper, zucchini or eggplant, then a real vegetable stew will come out.

Braised cabbage with sausages


Cabbage according to this recipe is also called “Student”, because sausages are used instead of meat when cooking. Such a dish is prepared quickly, and it will take little money to buy groceries.

Cooking time: 40 min.

Ingredients:

  • White cabbage - 1 kg;
  • Sausages - 300-400 g;
  • Onions - 3 pcs.;
  • Carrots - 3 pcs.;
  • Refined sunflower oil - 3 tbsp. l.;
  • Tomato sauce or pasta - 1.5 tbsp. l.;
  • Water - half a glass;
  • Salt - 1 tsp without a slide;
  • Bay leaf - 2 pcs.;
  • Seasonings - to taste.

Cooking process:

  1. Wash the head of cabbage, remove the withered leaves. Peel carrots, onions, wash. Shake the tomato sauce in half a glass of water.
  2. Cut the onion into small cubes, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
  3. Set the multicooker to the "Frying" mode for 15 minutes. Pour vegetable oil into the bottom of the bowl, add onion. Fry the onion for a couple of minutes, stirring constantly, with the lid open.
  4. After 5 min. put carrots in a bowl, salt, put seasonings.
  5. Defrost the sausages first (if from the freezer), remove the film, cut into circles or small cubes.
  6. After another 2 minutes after laying the carrots, put the sausages in the bowl. Mix well.
  7. Finely chop the cabbage and at the end of frying, put it in a slow cooker.
  8. Gently mix the cabbage with the rest of the mass. Soon the execution of the program in the device will come to an end, the multicooker will turn off.
  9. Add bay leaf and water-tomato sauce mixture.
  10. Close the multicooker lid, set the stew or boil mode for 30 minutes.
  11. At the end of the program, get the cabbage stewed with sausages. Serve hot.

Cabbage in a slow cooker with minced meat


Young stewed cabbage with ready-made minced meat will help to feed the whole family with a hearty dinner. The dish resembles lazy cabbage rolls in taste and ingredients, only without rice.

Cooking time: 3 hours.

Ingredients:

  • White cabbage (young) - 1 kg;
  • Minced meat (preferably pork) - 450 g;
  • Onions - 150 g;
  • Carrots - 150 g;
  • Water - 200 ml;
  • Tomato paste - 1.5 tbsp. l.;
  • Parsley, dill - 2 branches each;
  • Bay leaf (small) - 3 pcs.;
  • Salt - 1 tsp without a slide;
  • Black peppercorns - 6 pcs.;
  • Garlic clove - 1 pc.;
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking process:

  1. Peel onions, garlic and carrots. Cut the onion and garlic into small pieces, grate the carrots on a medium grater. Pour vegetable oil into the bottom of the multicooker, put chopped vegetables. Send the prepared minced pork there, mix. If you plan to make the minced meat at home on your own, it is better to put more fat so that later the minced meat will release fat, which will soak the finished dish.
  2. Set the program "Frying" for 15 minutes. and cook with the lid open, stirring the mass from time to time so as not to burn.
  3. Finely chop the cabbage with a knife, vegetable cutter or food processor.
  4. When the program is over, add shredded cabbage to the vegetables with minced meat, mix.
  5. Dilute tomato paste in water (can be replaced with tomato sauce, increasing its amount by 2 times) and shake well.
  6. Pour the vegetables with minced meat with the resulting liquid, salt, add seasonings, pepper and bay leaf.
  7. Set the "Extinguishing" program for 2 hours, close the lid and press "Start".
  8. For 15 min. before the end of the program, finely chop the previously washed and dried greens, add to the bulk. Simmer until the end of the program. The dish is ready.

Braised cabbage in a slow cooker with mushrooms


You can cook cabbage with various additives, one of them is mushrooms. They add flavor to the dish. According to this recipe, you get delicious stewed cabbage with mushrooms, just like grandmother's from the oven.

Cooking time: 2 hours 20 min.

Servings: 5.

Ingredients:

  • White cabbage - 1000 g;
  • Frozen mushrooms (like boletus) - 380 g;
  • Odorless sunflower oil - 50 ml;
  • Onion - 130 g;
  • Carrots - 130 g;
  • Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • Bay leaf - 2 pcs.;
  • Salt - 1 tsp;
  • Black ground pepper - to taste.

Cooking process:

  1. Defrost mushrooms. You can take a ready-made mixture of different mushrooms, or you can buy separately a little of those mushrooms that you would like to add to the dish. If taken fresh mushrooms, then they need to be cleaned of debris and dirt, washed and welded.
  2. Pour vegetable oil into the bottom of the multicooker bowl, put the mushrooms, fry in the "Frying" mode until all the liquid has evaporated and the mushrooms are reddened.
  3. Peel and wash carrots and onion heads. Cut the onion into small cubes, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Chop cabbage into thin strips.
  4. When the mushrooms are reddened, add carrots and onions, fry for about 10 more minutes. and stop program execution.
  5. Add cabbage, salt and pepper, mix well.
  6. Set the device to the “Extinguishing” mode, set the time to about 2 hours if the cabbage is old and hard, or 1.5 hours for young cabbage.
  7. 1 hour after the start of cooking, add tomato sauce, bay leaf and mix the dish. You can add chopped herbs to your liking. Close the multicooker lid and wait for the end of the program.
  8. The finished dish can be served with a spoonful of fat sour cream.

Cabbage with zucchini


Braised cabbage with zucchini - low-calorie healthy dish, which can also be consumed by vegetarians and fasting people. Cooking will not take much time, after 30-40 minutes. can be served at the table.

Cooking time: 35 min.

Ingredients:

  • White cabbage - 400 g;
  • Carrots - 1 pc.;
  • Young zucchini - 1 pc.;
  • Onion - 2 pcs.;
  • Ground black pepper and salt - to taste;
  • garlic cloves - 3 pcs.;
  • Seasoning hops-suneli - 0.5 tsp;
  • Odorless vegetable oil - for frying;
  • Tomato paste or sauce - 1 or 2 tbsp. l. respectively.

Cooking process:

  1. Wash vegetables. Peel carrots, onions and garlic. If you use an old zucchini, you need to remove the skin from it, if you are young, you do not need to. Remove damaged outer leaves from cabbage.
  2. Finely chop the cabbage with a knife or vegetable cutter. Cut the zucchini, remove the seeds and pulp, cut into strips. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, cut the onion into half rings.
  3. In the slow cooker, set the "Frying" mode for 15 minutes. Pour sunflower oil into the bottom of the bowl, put the chopped zucchini, salt and pepper. Fry for 3 minutes, add onions and carrots, mix, fry for 5 minutes, stirring the mass so as not to burn. Add cabbage to vegetables, fry until the end of the program, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Stir the tomato sauce or pasta in a small amount of water, pour into the bowl. Add suneli hops, more spices if desired, taste and salt again if required.
  5. Set the program "Extinguishing" for 20 minutes. Stew vegetables for the specified time. At the end of cooking, squeeze peeled garlic through a garlic maker, add to the finished dish and let it brew for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Serve stewed cabbage with zucchini with sour cream and, if desired, sprinkle with chopped herbs.

The combination of cabbage with rice is quite familiar to a person of our latitudes, it can be found, for example, in cabbage rolls. Adding rice to cabbage during cooking increases nutritional value of the finished dish, and also softens its taste.

Cooking time: 1 hour 20 min.

Servings: 6.

Ingredients:

  • White cabbage - 300 g;
  • Steamed white rice - 200 g;
  • Carrots - 80 g;
  • Onion - 80 g;
  • Tomato juice - 100 ml;
  • Salt and spices - to taste;
  • Sugar - 1 tsp;
  • Bay leaf - 2 pcs.;
  • Water - 3 glasses;
  • Odorless vegetable oil - 80 ml.

Cooking process:

  1. Rinse rice several times from starch to clean water.
  2. Wash, peel and rinse vegetables. Cut the onion with a knife into large cubes, grate the carrots on a coarse grater or cut into large cubes.
  3. In the slow cooker, set the "Frying" or "Baking" mode, pour vegetable oil on the bottom, pour chopped carrots and onions. Fry them for 20 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
  4. Drain the water from the rice, put it to the vegetables in a slow cooker, mix. Fry everything for 10 minutes, then pour over slightly heated water. Mix rice and vegetables, simmer on the "Stew" program for about 25 minutes.
  5. Peel the cabbage from damaged leaves, chop with a knife into cubes or strips.
  6. After 25 min. throw the cabbage into the bowl with the rest of the ingredients, spread over the rice, crushing with a spoon. Salt, add spices, send tomato juice to the bowl, which must first be mixed with sugar.
  7. Add bay leaf, close the lid of the device and simmer for another 30 minutes. in the "Extinguishing" mode. Immediately after the end of the program, do not open the lid, then the cabbage will be juicier.
  8. Get a bay leaf so that it does not give bitterness. Serve hot with sour cream, sprinkled with chopped herbs.
