You can make a kite out of paper as follows:

  1. Fold a square out of thick paper.
  2. Designate the axis of symmetry.
  3. Fold the sides in half.
  4. Make the folds of the corners, forming an accordion.
  5. Pass a long thread through the center of the accordion.
  6. Attach the rail for adjustment.
  7. Connect the bundle of threads prepared in advance.
  8. Decorate the free end of the tail with bows or flaps.
  9. Pull the tail through the hole, secure with a rope.

From fabric

Design original scheme to make a flying wire kite using fabric:

  1. Wrap a piece of flexible wire with threads, fix them at the ends.
  2. Give the wire the desired shape.
  3. Circle a piece of fabric along the contour of the frame, leaving an allowance of one and a half centimeters.
  4. Glue the fabric to the wire blank.
  5. Perform surface decoration.
  6. Tie the rope in several places.
  7. Bring the ends of the ropes to one point, retreating 30 centimeters from the kite, fasten them together.
  8. Attach the rope.

Made of polyethylene

Do-it-yourself kite made of polyethylene:

  1. Prepare two planks, where one is twice as long as the other.
  2. Fold them back up from the top of the long plank.
  3. Secure the connection point with tape.
  4. Wrap the strips with tape, make small cuts.
  5. Pull a strong thread through the incisions, fasten it.
  6. Circle the outline of the finished frame on polyethylene, adding one centimeter.
  7. Cut out and tape the edges.
  8. Tie a thread 30 cm long to a short stick.
  9. Tie a piece of fishing line to the top of a long stick.
  10. Connect all three ends of the fishing line to each other and the thread of the lower corners, for which you will hold the snake, secure with tape.
  11. Decorate with ribbons.

A large-sized design, resembling a dragon with contours, is performed as follows:

  1. Select frame and cover materials.
  2. Make the supporting base of the desired form of the soaring dragon.
  3. Secure the connected structures with a thin rope.
  4. Make a drawing of the model on paper, use as a template.
  5. Cut out the outlines of the kite for aerodynamic coverage.
  6. Decorate the surface with homemade drawings or stickers.
  7. Attach the outer upholstery to the frame.
  8. Attach the slings, tie the handrail.

The box kite is a multi-plane kite. It is done like this:

  1. Make 4 long wooden slats and 6 half shorter slats.
  2. Fasten the short ones crosswise with a self-tapping screw.
  3. Attach the long slats to the small ones in the center and at the ends.
  4. Pull the large sides at the corners with wire or rope in a criss-cross pattern.
  5. Wind the rope around the slats, secure it with adhesive tape in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped of the frame.
  6. Attach the polyethylene strips to the rails making a full circle around the object.
  7. Stretch a rope over the cellophane coating around the perimeter of the square, glue it tightly on the surface.
  8. Make loops of wire for tying the handrail.

Rhombic Serpent

You can assemble a kite with your own hands so that the design has improved aerodynamic characteristics. The description will help you:

  1. Make 6 long wooden slats and 4 slats half as long.
  2. Make from small crosses.
  3. Wrap the sides with wire, fix.
  4. Attach long slats to the sides of the cross pieces.
  5. Coat the wooden slats with drying oil.
  6. Wrap the frame with tape around each cross.
  7. Align the frame in the perpendicular position of the rails in the crosses.
  8. Wrap the body of the kite with tape in two layers, being careful not to damage the shape.
  9. Tie a strong thread to each rail, secure with a strip of tape.
  10. Attach the fishing line to the wide side of the diamond at both ends of the rail.

  2. Mentally or with a pencil, draw a straight line between two opposite corners of the square - mark its axis.
  3. Bend the sheet so that the right and left sides of the square "lie" on its axis.
  4. Bend the corners up twice according to the accordion principle.
  5. On both sides, glue a thread 30 cm long into the middle of the accordion. It turned out to be a “bridle”.
  6. Strictly in the center of the bridle, tie a rope to launch and control the kite.

It is impossible to control a snake without a tail, so do not forget to make a rope of ribbons or threads intertwined and tied at the bottom with a tassel.

  1. Make 20 pieces of ordinary thread or 5-6 of wool. Their length for a small snake should be at least 50 cm.
  2. Fold the cut blanks together and tie with a brush towards the end or twist into a pigtail. You can decorate the tail with bows or paper triangles.
  3. Make a hole in the bottom corner of the kite, thread the tail through and tie in a knot or glue it.
  4. If you use ribbons or strips of fabric instead of thread, thread them through the hole, fold over, and sew the top to the bottom.

The triangular serpent is another variety flat design, more difficult to manufacture. But the result of work will surely please you. The kite turns out to be a classic triangular shape, bright and very beautiful.

From the materials you will need:

  • plastic bag, better bright and tight;
  • slats (straight sticks made of bamboo, willow, linden, pine or just window glazing beads);
  • rope or fishing line with a reel.

  1. Fold the slats in a cross so that the short one crosses the long one at a height of one quarter of the total length.

  3. Put the resulting cross on a plastic bag.

How to make a bird design

To get a kite that resembles a bird in flight, use one trick: fasten the bowstring between the side parts. Under the pressure of the wind, it will then stretch, then weaken, making the structure "winged".

Necessary materials:

  • 8 sticks with a diameter of less than 1 cm and a length of 30.5 cm, 3 sticks of 91.5 cm and 3 of 150 cm from linden or pine;
  • nylon or polyethylene film;
  • fishing line;
  • coil.
  1. Place 150 cm long rods in front of you parallel to each other.
  2. Across, place a 91.5 cm stick at a distance of 59.75 cm from the edge.
  3. Tie it with threads so that between the first and second there is a distance of 30.5 cm, and between the second and third - 61 cm.
  4. Stepping back 30.5 cm to the larger side, attach a second stick 91.5 cm long.
  5. Tie 4 short slats at a distance of 30.5 cm from each other at an angle so that they converge at the bottom into a triangle (see diagram).
  6. Close the closed ends of the short planks with the last rail 91.5 cm long. We got a “day nursery” tied in the center of the structure.
  7. Tie everything with threads smeared with glue.
  8. Fasten the ends of long sticks pre-moistened with water. You need to wet them so that they do not break when bent.
  9. Between the ends of the "wings" stretch the fishing line.
  10. To make the “body” of the snake, cut a pentagon out of fabric (upper and lower sides 30.5 cm each, height 91.5 cm + 2 cm per collar). In the center, make a square with a side length of 30.5 cm.
  11. From the bottom corners of the square, measure 59.75 cm left and right.
  12. To the obtained points, stretch the segments from the ends of the upper and lower sides of the pentagon. It turned out a canvas with a window in the middle.
  13. Sheathe and glue the wooden frame of the kite.
  14. In addition, cut 4 inserts for the "crèche". Each size 30.5 x 30.5 cm. Insert them into the "windows", glue.
  15. Make a tail out of the rope and the remnants of the fabric, attach the "manger" on one side.
  16. On the other hand, make a bridle from two interconnected lines and tightly tie a thread with a spool (rail) to them.

In order for the structure not to collapse on one side and not disintegrate in the air, adhere to the dimensions exactly and tightly tie the parts together.

To create a voluminous kite, you will need:

  • wooden slats (window glazing beads can be used) - 4 pcs. 1 m long and 6 by 60 cm;
  • large garbage bags;

Once a toy was brought to my grandson from Romania (Fig. 1.). It was a small wooden box with a side lid-curtain. A handle is attached to the lid. To make a toy you will need a blank made of three-layer beech plywood (or five-layer birch plywood) 150x90 mm in size, a 6x13 mm lath 250 mm long from any wood species, a 10x100 lath 100 mm long also made of any wood species, a small beech or birch blank for a handle, lime board S = 13 mm 50x60 mm for a snake figurine, steel nails with a diameter of 1 and 1.3 mm, a strong thread with a diameter of 1 mm and a length of about 100 mm, PVA glue, a small-sized circular saw with a fine-toothed cutter (for metal), drills with a diameter of 1.3 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, drilling machine or a drill, a wood lathe, a pencil, a ruler, a piece of cardboard for a snake template, stationery scissors, an awl, a file, pliers, a knife, a sandpaper, an awl, a saw table, a jigsaw.

Due to the fact that the presence of a small-sized circular and lathe on wood can be problematic, while explaining the technology, advice will be given on how to do without them, using more affordable equipment.

Manufacturing technology of the dynamic toy "Snake"

1. Mark and cut out two cheeks from S5 (beech) or S6 (birch) plywood. If there is no small-sized circular, this operation can be performed using a jigsaw.

2. Mark and mill a groove in each cheek and drill a hole with a diameter of 1.3 mm (drill holes simultaneously in both cheeks, folding them with grooves inward). In the absence of a machine, the grooves can be made manually using a hacksaw by inserting two blades into it.

3. Mark and cut three slats with a section of 6x13 mm. This operation can be performed using a circular saw or manually with a hacksaw, after securing the workpiece in the clamp of a carpentry workbench.

4. Glue with PVA glue to one of the cheeks of the rail and insert a nail with a diameter of 1.3 into the hole.

5. Mark and make a curtain from a 10x17 mm rail and drill a hole with a diameter of 6 mm in it. In the absence of a machine, this operation can be performed by gluing two blanks 2x17 mm and 8x10 mm.

6. Turn the handle. If there is no lathe, this part can be made by hand with a knife and sandpaper.

7. Make a template for a cardboard snake figurine.

8. Mark according to the template on a lime board and cut out a blank for a snake figurine along the contour with a jigsaw. drill into it through holes with a diameter of 1.3 and 2 mm. Drill a hole with a diameter of 1.3 mm with a drill with a diameter of 3 mm to a depth of 7 mm (for a thread knot).

9. Put the snake blank on the axis, check if it touches the walls of the body, if necessary, remove excess wood.

10. Finish making the snake figurine: cut the neck and head with a knife until the desired shape and size is reached, finish, insert a nail-sting with a diameter of 1 mm, cut off the hat, dull it.

11. Assemble the product in the sequence below and test it.

Assembly sequence:

1. Pass the thread through a hole with a diameter of 1.3 mm in a snake figurine, tie a knot and tighten it into a hole with a diameter of 3 mm;
2. Put a snake figurine with a hole with a diameter of 2 mm on the axis;
3. Glue the second cheek of the body so that the axis passes through a hole with a diameter of 1.3 mm;
4. Pass the thread through a hole with a diameter of 6 mm in the blind;
5. Insert the curtain into the grooves, adjust the length of the thread and fix it by inserting the spike of the handle without glue;
6. Test the toy: when the curtain is extended and retracted, the snake figurine should smoothly protrude and hide;
7. Cut off the ends of the nail-axis, blunt. Cut off the excess thread.

Note: if necessary, replace the thread, remove the handle from a hole with a diameter of 6 mm, push out the axis, take out the snake, thread a new thread and assemble in reverse order.

You can also make such cacti from a soft corrugated tube. No need to run out and buy materials, look in your dacha or barn, I think you will definitely find old unnecessary hoses that you can use to create cacti. After all, to create a cactus, it doesn’t matter if the hose is torn or not, the main thing is that it should be))). These crafts are very strong and durable. In addition, they are not afraid of rain, wind and sun. It is also very convenient that they can be rearranged to any place, they will not crumble and will not fall apart. Looking at these works it is not possible to fall in love with them. The idea of ​​creating cacti with your own hands from a hose is very interesting and once you start creating them, you will not be able to tear yourself away from this work. Let's start making them.

How to cook cactus:
Despite the fact that we need few materials to make a cactus, it turns out to be very beautiful and original. We take the hose and begin to twist it in a circle, it is better if you have some kind of device, a base, so that it is more convenient to do this. If not, carefully twist the hose in a circle and periodically fix the clamps on it. Having fixed the clamp, we correct the ponytails outward, if it seems to you that the ponytails are large, then you can safely cut them to the length you need. They will imitate needles on cacti with us. You can make any sizes of cacti, at your discretion. It all depends on how much hose you have available, and the diameter of the hose also plays a role. The thinner the hose, the smaller the cactus will be. If you have different pieces of hose left, then you can try to collect a cactus from them, just paint them all the same color.

You can also make flowers or cactus babies on cacti. To do this, cut off small pieces of the hose and fix the flower on them, and then attach to ready cactus. We make children in the same way as large cacti, only in a small size. Flowers can be made from plastic bottles or pieces from a hose or attach artificial flowers. The main thing is that our flowers are bright and beautiful.

For the manufacture of cacti, it is not necessary to use new hoses or green ones, old unnecessary ones will do, and also if a hose of a different color can be painted.
Hose cacti will be a wonderful decoration for the garden, they are not afraid of any weather, rain or wind, etc.
