The girl got up on skates from the age of 2, following her older sister Yasmina. Yes, and how not to get up here: she was only a month old, and her mother (and part-time coach) - Reseda Kadyrova - director of the school of the Olympic reserve in figure skating and short track of Tatarstan, a candidate for master of sports - had already left maternity leave for work. You can’t leave a small child at home - you had to take it with you to the skating rink. So the baby absorbed the energy of ice from infancy.

- I have never connected my life with figure skating. By education, a manager in the specialty “State and municipal management,” Reseda Kadyrova admitted to KP. - But the eldest daughter from childhood wanted to become a figure skater. She was then only half a year old: she was sitting on the couch, watching performances on TV and moving her little hands to the beat. Haven't been able to walk yet. And a little later I asked for ice. I realized that no one but me can train my daughter. And she changed her profession.

It is clear that it is not easy to become a professional mentor from scratch. Reseda sat down at her desk again and qualified as a coach-teacher in figure skating, graduating from the Russian State University physical culture, sports and tourism.

Six years ago, when the eldest daughter was two years old (and the youngest was still not in the projection), Reseda opened her own private school of figure skating. And in 2010, she came to work as a coach at the Kazan children's and youth sports school Zilant.

FUTURE CHAMPION

“He doesn’t go home from the rink after training - he immediately bursts into tears,” says the mother and coach of the young figure skater. - It is impossible to drive off the ice.

- Usually children take part in competitions for the first time from the age of 4. We want to exhibit our daughter from the age of three. With us it is possible, and the technical skills of the child allow, - explained Reseda.

By the way, during her still short career as an athlete, Riana managed not only to Russian ice skate the program, but also win the hearts of the audience in Italy and Estonia.

In order for the girl to go to the rink fully armed, her parents had to run a little.

- Skates right size found only in Moscow. And even then, Riana needed size 19, and the smallest ones were 24. The costume was inherited from her older sister: she now skates a different program, and “Lady” was given to her younger one, ”recalls Reseda Kadyrova.

- Isn't it scary to let children go on the ice at such an early age? Still, figure skating is a traumatic sport, I ask the girl’s mother.

- Honestly: it's more dangerous to let go for a walk with your parents. The guys come to training crippled: either he fell down a hill, injured his leg, then a bruise under his eye, then something else. And this is on a regular walk! Now, if the child does not obey the coach, is capricious ... then yes, - Reseda Kadyrova is sure. - If something threatened the life and health of my children, I would not give them to figure skating.

Prior to this, the record belonged to the American Tara Lipinski, who won gold in Nagano 1998 at the age of 15 years 255 days. By the way, on the eve of the 2014 Games, Lipinski, in an interview with The New York Times magazine, noted that any surprise can be expected from Lipnitskaya, meaning, first of all, an individual tournament (it starts on February 19), where the Russian woman can win that "gold" , which the Russian team has not yet had - in women's singles.

Evgeni Plushenko, who first won the adult world championship when Lipnitskaya was not yet born, called her a "little genius". Two-time Olympic silver medalist in Lillehammer and Nagano Elvis Stoiko tweeted: "Yulia Lipnitskaya could be the next superstar. If she stays in figure skating for years, she will inspire many." The girl's name is Riana Kadyrova. She is from Kazan. She is now three years old. But they put her on skates at two - after her older sister Yasmina, who is 8. In competitions, little Riana also participates out of competition so far - she does not pass by age. Usually the youngest group is kids 4-5 years old. Mastery of "Lady" has already been appreciated not only in Kazan, but also in Italy and Estonia, where the little athlete performed. Everyone looks at the child with tenderness and admiration: the gliding is confident, there is a smile on his face, his eyes are shining, although sometimes they are turned towards the mother, who stands at the side and tells what the next element is in the program.

Rezeda Kadyrova admits that she never thought that her family's life would be connected with figure skating. She is a manager by training.

"Kids" for Riana

Skaters' training begins in the choreography room. Here they undergo general physical training, master ballet classics, study new elements, which are then “transferred” to the ice.

At home they are mother and daughter, and at the rink they are a coach and a student. Little Riana admits that her mother is a strict mentor.

In a blue suit with a huge inscription "Russia", the young figure skater goes to the ice. “Axel, crossover, sheepskin coat,” putting on skates, the girl lists the exercises that she likes to do. When asked why she likes complex elements, the little girl replies: “I’m a wrestler!”.

At 3-3.5 years old, future skaters usually start skating for the first time, but the youngest Kadyrova is already skating elements at the level of five-year-old athletes: she performs “paths”, “passing”, “toe loop”, “swallow”, spins and “pistol”. She deals with senior group skaters (9-11 years old), and those who skate worse than her, she calls “babies”.

Once a girl was asked why she did not go to kindergarten, to which the girl seriously explained: “I work on ice.”

“Riana repeats what the elders do. At her age, they are engaged in a completely different program: they study the simplest “flashlights”, “snakes”, they teach them how to fall, squat and stand up on one leg correctly, ”explains the mother of the young figure skater.

“This is a crow, not a swallow. Keep your back, your leg up, ”Reseda remarks to one of the skaters, carefully watching her students. She often calls them to her to explain the tasks: “screws”, “sheepskin coat”, “salchow” and much more. Athletes perform each of the elements several times. Sometimes Riana falls, but immediately gets up.

“Competition is, first of all, a competition not with an opponent, but with yourself. If you want to achieve something, you have to work, do not feel sorry for yourself, do not be afraid. I try not to show that I worry about the child so that she herself does not feel fear, ”says Reseda.

“Since last year, she dreamed of competing like Yasmin's older sister. She had a goal - to perform in Moscow. Since the years are small, we decided to come up with something. They gave her a difficult task for her age - to learn how to jump rope. They thought she would study for a year, but she mastered it in two weeks. I had to take her to the capital, ”explains the figure skater’s mother.

The first tiny skates for a child were found only in Moscow: Riana needed the 19th size, she managed to get the skates only on the 24th. She inherited the figure skater's costume from her older sister: Yasmina is now skating a different program, and "Lady" was given to her younger one.

In the evenings, the Kadyrov sisters watch the performances of Russian figure skaters together. They know the program of Yulia Lipnitskaya by heart and cherish the hope that someday they will be able to share the Olympic podium with her.
