Gems in Blade and Soul are an integral part of any weapon! We hasten to warn you right away that they will not give any visual change to your weapon, however, they will greatly increase its capabilities, which will still play into your hands both in PvP and PvE.

  • Gems can be obtained from a box / chest, crafting or as a result of combining fragments (the function is in the inventory).
  • For stones in each weapon, specialized round slots are reserved. The official Russian localization differs significantly from the pirated version of the game even in small things. Description

If in other games the summoner is a class for which all the work is done by animals tamed by him or other creatures unknown to our world, then here everything is a little different - the cat, of course, helps quite well, but the summon master himself plays the most important role. Blade and soul - the game is very dynamic, if we take as a basis only the passage of PvE (Player versus Environment - player versus monsters / environment) content - this character is completely suitable for the game. In PvE, it is absolutely no problem, and it also does not require special skill in using a lot of keys, but in PvP (Player vs Player - player against player) it's a completely different story.

Advantages and disadvantages

Many people think that the summoning master is one of the strongest classes in Blade and Soul, and most of them will be right - the “catmaster” really ranks far from the last place in this rating.

Strengths:

  • Considering the strengths of the Summon Master in PvP, at first this class will please the player even more than he expects. The character will reach the average rating in the arena without any problems thanks to the helper - the cat. But at high ratings, the summoner himself will have to more actively connect - the cat will no longer pose a strong threat to opponents as before.

Weak sides:

  • The first and perhaps the weakest side of the summoner is that even with an average level of play on this character, the player simply has no chance in PvP against a strong opponent - the summoner is very weak, has very little health, and in case of a stun (stun, shock) - a round can be considered lost. Skills

The main skills of the summoning master, but depending on the style of play and preferences - the list of skills may be different.

Roses [LMB] - allows you to accumulate Qi - energy that allows you to use other skills.

Sunflower [RMB] is a primary skill in both PvE and PvP. Allows you to give out huge damage to the enemy in a short period of time. It is very important to note that it hits all targets it hits, however, these targets must be on the ground. A very useful skill.

Bindweed-bloodsucker [F] - this skill restores HP to the character and assistant (as well as comrades) and at the same time deals damage to the enemy for 10 seconds. Reprisal is a very important and useful skill. Used by an assistant if the enemy is lying on the ground - it immobilizes the enemy for 3 seconds, which in turn will allow you to inflict at least 50% damage with the Sunflower skill.

Takeoff - the skill can be upgraded to Dash, which, when developed along the first branch, allows the assistant to stun the enemy for 2 seconds with every second use of this skill.

Tenacious Vine - a skill that allows you to immobilize the target for 8 seconds. With the correct development of the skill - allows you to reset the rollback time of the skill to 0 in case of successful use of the ability. Pretty useful skill.

Prickly ivy - allows you to inflict damage on an opponent, as well as in the case of skill development - to weaken him. Weakening is obligatory element for possible follow-up combos.

Pollen is a very useful skill that allows you to resist enemy effects and projectiles, and also, with development, allows you to restore a certain amount of HP of party members.

Dandelion is one of the most useful skills. When using this skill, the character raises a dandelion above him, which increases resistance to damage and effects of the enemy, and, if successful, allows you to get the effect of invisibility.

Encouragement [Z] - allows you to restore the assistant's HP at the expense of your health.

Undercut [V] - used by an assistant, allowing you to knock the enemy to the ground. With a certain development of skill, instead of cutting, the assistant sets a bomb, which, when exploded, has the same effect as the trip.

Uppercut [V] - can be used when the target is weakened. Mostly used after skill.

Game with a bow [V] - used after the skill. The assistant makes several blows to the enemy in the air. This skill, along with the previous one, forms the only combo of the character with the enemy in the air.

Protective Shroud [Q] - For 5 seconds, greatly reduces the damage received by the assistant. The development of this skill adds the possibility of provoking opponents next to the assistant. Very useful in both group and solo dungeons.

Kiss-kiss [E] - a skill that allows you to call an assistant to the summoner (i.e. cancels the previous order to attack, etc.).

Dodge (S) - Double-clicking the [S] key allows you to jump back 10 meters.

Step Back - A very useful skill. Allows you to get out of the state of capsizing, stunning, weakening, fainting.

PvP

Confrontation:

Master of the ax (destr, destroer)

One of the most annoying opponents for a summoning master. The essence of the game against the master of the ax is to avoid getting hit by his stunning skills. There are 3 options for getting out of his control. The first option is to use the Back Roll (F) skill when the character is on the ground - this skill will be used quite often when fighting an ax master. The second option to get out of control is to use the Dandelion ability - but this requires a good sense of timing. When the enemy should roll back his ability to approach and stun - you can predict their use and activate the skill, in case of luck - let the ax master use these skills for nothing, go into a state of invisibility and run away. The third option for evading ax attacks is the “Retreat Back” ability - if there is no possibility of using the first two options, and there is no choice, and the enemy can now inflict very serious damage, only then you need to use this skill, and in no case do not use in case of a simple fall - in such cases it is much more effective to simply use [F], since the “Back Roll” saves only when falling, but saves from a lot (Knockdown, Stun, Weaken, Fainting). As previously reported, the main thing is to be able to dodge the attacks of the ax master and try in every way to avoid being stunned. In other cases, you can simply run around the enemy and attack him with a hail of skills and, while not forgetting to use it to immobilize. The battle with the ax master is also a battle against time - if he does not win against the summon master in a certain time, then he himself loses.

Elemental Master (mage)

Quite a difficult opponent for a summoning master. In this battle, there is a competition in damage. The main abilities that can help an inexperienced master of the elements in the fight will be "Pollen" and "Evasion" [S]. From the beginning of the battle, it is enough to use the skill to gain resistance to enemy effects. If the enemy is more experienced, there is a high probability of constantly using a skill that allows you to “freeze” the summoning master and fix his camera. To get out of this state, double-clicking the [S] key or “Retreat back” will help.

Shadow Master (Assassin)

With this opponent, the summoning master will have a very difficult time only at a very high rating, where the opponent is more or less able to play as a shadow master. The rest of the game against the shadow master is to prevent him from "going" into invisibility while avoiding as many of his attacks as possible. To do this, if possible, you need to use the skill "Bloodsucker Bindweed" [F].

Blade Master

Blademasters do not cause any particular problems for the summoning master - the main thing is to survive the first 10 seconds of the battle without falling under the most brutal five-hit combo, so it is recommended to start the battle by using the Dandelion skill to meet the enemy.

Kung Fu Master

Pretty average opponent. The battle is fought according to the same principle as with the ax master, since these two classes are similar in their skills, which allow them to deal significant damage during the duration of the stun. Summon Master (summoner, cat breeder)

If possible, use the Bloodsucker Bindweed skill in order to prevent the enemy from going into a state of invisibility.

In the game Blade and Soul, cutting stones will allow you to decorate weapons with them, which increases their parameters. Stoned items sell well at auction. In PVE and PVP aspects, enhanced weapons give the player advantages.

Brief information about stones

  • You can encrust any stone, there are no restrictions on the level or other parameters.
  • All gems have a different quality (grade), type and type. The type of stone has its own subspecies (with different characteristics).
  • The same type of stone cannot be installed in a weapon.
  • Stones add various parameters and properties (for example: reduce the attack speed of the enemy).

Ruby

With any attack, except damage from DoT (a buff on the enemy that deals a certain amount of damage per second), gives a chance for an additional effect:

  • + 400 additional damage
  • + 140 additional damage, stuns the enemy for 2.5 seconds
  • 100% Critical Chance for the next two attacks within 2.5 seconds
Tip: Not bad for PVE, but in boss dungeons, the stun effect does not work, so the best choice there will be stones with bonuses for critical or additional damage. But in PVP, the stun will come in handy more than once.

Amethyst

With critical damage, there is a chance for an additional effect, which is indicated on the stone. Effects:

  • Absorbs 200 HP
  • Restores 300 HP
  • +220 bonus damage
  • +3 attack power, absorbs 200 enemy HP
Tip: Hexagonal amethysts are the best. In practice, damage absorption is better than health recovery.

Diamond

Adds various characteristics. The top option for 28 attack power, 3 other types are currently useless.

Tip: If there is no Jewelcrafting skill, then gems are purchased at the auction. It is better to purchase a 5-angle diamond (23 attack power), because the best stones are quite expensive. The difference in three attack strengths is not critical.

Topaz

Adds various properties when knocked out (knock down the enemy) and when stunning the enemy. At the moment there are 3 types, but the top one for attack power + absorption of enemy health:

  • +5 attack power, absorbs 100 enemy HP
Important: This stone increases the "attack power" parameter. Regardless of the attack power without a stone, the increase in the parameter on a player with a stone will be permanent.

Beryl

Adds a chance to gain useful stats when dodging a character. There are currently four top gems, but we are only interested in 1:

  • Ignore control for 3 seconds, + 150 attack crit for 30 seconds

Ways to get stones

  1. Jewelers can create stones on their own. To do this, it is desirable to learn the extraction of ore and stones. Jewelery resources are sold at the auction if the player has enough money to buy.
  2. Stones are sold at auction and from other players.
  3. In dungeons and raids, after killing the boss, there is a chance to get a stone as a reward.
  4. The Glacier has a Wheel of Fortune, where for Naryu coins there is a chance to get top 6 coal stones. This method is considered one of the best for getting the best gems.
  5. When dismantling weapons for resources, there is a small chance that a random stone will fall out. This method will not bring the top stone. At the moment, there is no information that any of the players were able to get the best stone.

Weapon Upgrade

Every weapon above the blue (rare) type always has a gem slot. Each such slot has its own shape and you can insert the corresponding stone of any kind into it. The maximum number of weapon slots that can be found in the game is 4.

Tip: On high levels the cost of removing a gem is quite expensive, so players who have recently maxed out need to carefully select gems.

Sometimes the Assistant Cook (master of the axe) also appears, who spawns in a random dungeon location, and Ga Gobun, whom we have already met in GEO. He appears whenever he wants, after the death of one of the bosses, in the place of the same boss. By the way, it has the same skills as in GEO.

Unlike all the previous ones, in this dungeon the rule "hit once - get a drop" does not apply. Here we will have to try: the chest falls on the condition that you decently put pressure on the boss, the drop of the chest will also depend on the damage you inflicted. We can get a chest even if we did little damage, but it will drop a maximum of blue fluff of the Plain, blue tablets of Cuttlefish. Having acquired normal tablets and pierced the Shark's fluff, we go to Shark Bay or the Po Hwaran dungeon at 6 (4). The entrance to it is located in the Eastern Sea Brotherhood Harbor, a little higher on the map than the usual PO.

Dealing with minions is quite a chore, as they have an AOE skill that can one-shot unprepared players, and in general they are quite thick and unpleasant, so usually they just get stuck together by blue, mage, lsm. The boss itself is quite easy if you know the following: after the nth amount of time has passed, he will go down into the water and become invulnerable. This is where the Master of the Elements will come to our aid, who will put up a protective barrier (into which the whole party runs). He will be able to block the first attack of the boss - long-range spitting, which takes away ¾ hp and recoils back.

An alternative would be any block/log, blue dust, or samonner dandelion. After spitting, he will start to boil water, and again the Master of Elements or cfm saves us by throwing a flower on the party, that is, instead of taking damage from boiling, we will end up in an ice cell for 3 seconds, which will not miss damage. By the way, the damage from boiling also takes away ¾ hp, only not for a specific player, but for the whole party. After boiling, the stingray will begin to float on the water and to pull it out of there, we will need counter skills (block / log, etc.).
