Building a full-fledged bath on your own site is sometimes problematic, and sometimes completely impossible. You should not give up the idea of carrying out bath procedures at any convenient time. After all, there is such a great option as a transportable bath. This is a wooden module that is ready to use and has a small size. You can place it anywhere, and build it yourself.

Advantages and disadvantages of transportable baths

Small-sized mobile baths are becoming increasingly popular. They have many advantages, including:
  • compactness. It is very convenient to install such structures in small areas. If necessary, they can be disassembled at any time.
  • Easy and fast assembly. Even in unforeseen situations, the structure is quickly assembled by two people.
  • Mobility. Such a steam room easily moves around the site to the right place. And certain types of transportable baths can even be taken with you to nature.
  • Ease of operation. The absence of a foundation, sewer system and power supply greatly simplifies operation.
  • Inexpensive and easy installation. Installing such a steam room on your site will cost much less than installing a stationary structure.
  • economy. Due to the small size, less energy is required to heat the steam room.
Of the shortcomings, only relatively small sizes can be distinguished, which does not allow a large company to take a steam bath at the same time.

Varieties of mobile baths

Structures of this type are built only from wood. This material has optimal performance characteristics. It is strong, durable, has a relatively low weight, and therefore does not require a powerful foundation and is quite easily transported.

According to the manufacturing technology, mobile steam rooms are divided into:

  1. Frame-panel. The manufacture of this particular model to order is most often offered by construction companies. The transportable frame bath is easy not only to mount, but also to transport to the right place with the help of a crane. For interior decoration, aspen eurolining is used, for exterior - a block house.
  2. collapsible. Easily transported unassembled even in the back of a pickup truck or on the top trunk of a car. And because you can take a steam bath even in nature. It is necessary to store a portable collapsible bath in disassembled form in a dry room. It is advisable to use a canvas cover for this.
  3. barrels. Recently, the installation of such structures on rafts of reservoirs has been especially popular. The most suitable wood for the equipment of a transportable bath-barrel is considered to be cedar board. The structure can consist of three rooms - a steam room, a washing room, a rest room. And it can be made in the form of a separate steam room with a stove.
  4. Timber structures. Easily mounted. Transported with a crane. However, in some cases, additional caulking may be required.
Each of these varieties has its own advantages and disadvantages. Today, a ready-made transportable bath can be purchased or ordered to be made on a turnkey basis. However, you can build any of them yourself. The main thing is to decide which type of steam room best suits your requirements.

Designing a portable bath

First you need to select a project for a transportable bath and calculate the amount of materials. A standard mobile steam room includes: a dressing room with a table, a bench and a hanger, a steam room with a shelf and a bench, a washing room with a shower and a water heater. However, some models are a separate, compact seated steam room measuring 1.5 m 3.

Features of the construction of a transportable bath from a bar

For such a structure, only natural wood with shrinkage below 20% is used due to its low thermal conductivity, which significantly reduces heating costs. It is also necessary to choose the thickness of the timber taking into account the climatic features of the operating area.

Materials for the construction of a portable bath

To equip a mobile steam room, you will need:
  • planed timber, with a section of 10 * 15 cm;
  • foundation blocks (20*20*40 cm);
  • flax jute insulation;
  • galvanized iron;
  • mineral wool with waterproofing coating;
  • board: edged - 2.5 cm, grooved - 2.8 cm;
  • aluminium foil;
  • aspen lining.
If desired, you can use lining from any hardwood. Coniferous lining for steam room equipment is not recommended due to the content of resinous substances.

Instructions for the construction of a transportable bath from a bar

Before starting work, you need to equip the site for the installation of the structure. For these purposes, we level the area for the future steam room and fill in the gravel-sand cushion. It is desirable that there is a slight slope in order to ensure a natural outflow of water.
  1. We make a block foundation. It is recommended to install more than six supports. They must be located along the edges and in the middle of long walls.
  2. We carry out the strapping from a bar, with a section of 15 * 10 cm.
  3. We mount the logs in increments of 0.6 meters.
  4. We install a frame made of timber with a section of 5 cm 2 and a height of about 2 meters.
  5. We lay the first row of planed timber.
  6. We fix flax jute insulation on top for additional sealing.
  7. We attach the second row using the tenon-groove system. We attach the bars to each other in a "warm corner".
  8. We fill the gaps with a thermal insulator.
  9. We lay out the wall of the desired height. The optimal size is about two meters.
  10. We attach partitions inside the structure, 8 cm thick, with a layer of insulation about 5 cm, hydro and vapor barrier.
  11. We make a ventilation duct. It is better to place it below the stove.
  12. We mount the floor beams and stuff the crate on them.
  13. We raise the skate by 40 cm.
  14. We attach the roof. We use galvanized iron as roofing material.
  15. We install double-leaf windows and a wooden door.
  16. We carry out electrical wiring in the bathhouse and supply electricity. We install lamps with plafonds made of refractory material.

After a year of operation of a transportable bath from a bar, gaps may appear between the bars due to the drying of the wood. In this case, they are additionally compacted.

Internal finishing of a transportable bath

Before equipping the floor in the structure, it is necessary to install a drain pan in the washing room, then the construction process is carried out in the following order:
  • We mount durable boards of the “rough” floor with a slope towards the drain.
  • We lay a layer of mineral wool with a thickness of 5 cm with a waterproofing coating.
  • We install a "finishing" floor from a tongue-and-groove board made of hardwood.
  • In the washing department, we make the floor sloped towards the drain hole.
  • We equip the drain place with a siphon.
  • We fill the inner crate.
  • We fix a layer of aluminum foil on the base, the reflective surface inward.
  • From above we stuff the lining. We carry out the process carefully so as not to damage the foil.
  • We insulate the ceiling with a layer of mineral wool from 5 cm and also sheathe it with clapboard. Aspen is considered the most suitable material. It is lightweight, durable and resin-free.
  • We attach trim.
  • We install two shelves in the steam room.
If you do not plan to use the bath in winter, then the walls can not be insulated additionally. A caulk will suffice. The profile beam looks quite aesthetically pleasing, and therefore there is no need for internal wall cladding.

In the dressing room you can place a clothes hanger, a table and chairs. It will serve as a kind of rest room and locker room.

Arrangement of the furnace in the transport bath

The fuel compartment must be placed with an outlet to the dressing room, installing a metal pan under it. We upholster the place intended for the furnace from below and on the sides with a galvanized sheet. We install the oven.

For a portable steam room, we use a factory electric stove with a 30-50 liter water tank. With sufficient skills, you can cook a wood-burning stove-potbelly stove. It can not only heat the steam room, but is also suitable for cooking outdoors.

How to build a portable bath - look at the video:

During the construction of portable mobile baths, coniferous and hardwood trees are used. Please note that this material needs to be treated with antiseptic protective compounds and fire retardants. Therefore, before assembling each structure, wooden elements must first be impregnated. Instructions and photos of a portable bath will help you build a transportable steam room quickly and inexpensively without special building or carpentry skills.

The bath gives real pleasure, but not everyone can afford to build a stationary bath room in their suburban area. In this case, the best solution would be the construction of a mobile bath. In a small area, it contains a steam room, a shower room and even a dressing room. At the same time, in terms of comfort, such a structure will in no way be inferior to ordinary stationary steam rooms.

Characteristic features of a mobile steam room

The main and most important difference between a mobile bath and a stationary one is its mobility, that is, mobility. Thanks to such a simple and at the same time useful invention, it is possible to combine two favorite things of every person: take a steam bath from the heart and relax in nature in the company of best friends. Currently, there are several types of mobile steam rooms.

  1. Transportable, which are installed on special grounds.
  2. Portable.

A portable (or tourist) bath can be used in the country or for outdoor recreation outside the city. Such a mobile model has a low price, modern design, as well as good steam, which is not inferior to wooden stationary structures. Portable baths are a tent with a frame made of duralumin tubes and a small stove, which are packed in a small bag. They are lightweight and quickly installed within 1 hour without the need for any tools. Summer single-layer tents are made of dense fabric and perfectly retain heat.

When using special cap tents, such a mobile structure can be used at any time of the year, including in winter. To install the tent version of the bath, you just need to find a flat area of \u200b\u200bthe area. If you do not want to bother with the assembly of such portable products, then mobile steam rooms will come to the rescue.

Mobile mobile baths come in different sizes. A trailer with a steam room is transported by car to the desired resting point. There are bath options without a wheelbase. In this case, the steam room is transported by trucks.

According to the manufacturing technology, mobile mobile steam rooms are divided as follows

Varieties

Characteristics

Frame-panel. The frame bath is easy not only to mount, but also to transport to the right place with the help of a truck crane. For interior decoration, aspen eurolining is used, for exterior - a block house.
Barrels. The most suitable wood for the equipment of a transportable bath-barrel is considered to be cedar board.
Timber structures. Easily mounted. Transported with a crane. However, in some cases, additional caulking may be required.
Mobile bath, the basis of which is a container. It has a metal frame, and as a facing material, wood or a metal sheet with a coating (polymer or galvanized) made in any color can be used.

Before construction, it is necessary to select a project for a transportable bath and calculate the amount of materials. The size of the mobile steam room depends on how many people will use it. A standard mobile steam room includes a dressing room with a table, a bench and a hanger, a steam room with a shelf and a bench, a washing room with a shower and a water heater.

Some models are a separate, compact, seated steam room measuring 1.5 cubic meters. m.

Pros and cons of a mobile steam room

A mobile bath has several advantages:

  • no building permit required;
  • no need to equip the foundation;
  • high construction speed.
  • can be built at any time of the year;
  • quickly warms up the room;
  • environmentally friendly;
  • compact: it has a small size and weight, and also takes up little space on the site;
  • mobile;
  • has a low cost;

In addition to the advantages, the mobile bath also has one drawback: its small size does not allow a large company to take a steam bath at the same time.

Getting ready to build a mobile steam room

For the equipment of the bath, the following materials are used.

  1. Timber - traditionally used material with a section of 150x150 mm (it is not recommended to use birch wood because of its rapid decay).
  2. Insulation.
  3. Boards for floor and ceiling.
  4. Vapor barrier.
  5. Roof covering.
  6. Lining made of natural wood with a shrinkage of 20% or less. Such wood has low thermal conductivity, which reduces the cost of heating the bath.

You will have to take a thin lining: both the weight is less and the savings in space, albeit insignificant. But such lining has one unpleasant feature: it swells more and warps it more. Therefore, when nailing it, make small gaps - for swelling. Accordingly, select a profile such that these gaps are invisible.

You will also need the following tools:

  • building level;
  • roulette;
  • square;
  • electric drill;
  • Screwdriver Set;
  • hammer;
  • pliers.

After preparing the materials and tools, you can begin to build a bath. The calculation of material consumption for a mobile steam room depends on its size. It must be remembered that the frame device of the bath is not intended for serious loads, which means that you need to correctly calculate the allowable weight of the necessary materials.

We build a steam room with our own hands step by step

A mobile bath is being built using frame technology. The frame can be welded from a metal pipe, but in a lightweight version they are made from timber treated with protective compounds. First, the lower harness is made of bars with a section of 100x150 mm, connecting them into a quarter. It is necessary to constantly check its horizontal position using the building level. All corners of the bottom trim must be straight.

Further, in order not to work at a height, the frame for each wall is built and fastened on a flat surface of the earth. Then they are lifted and fixed in place with self-tapping screws. The optimal height of the bath is about two meters. The upper trim of the frame is made of a bar of the same section as the lower one.

To give rigidity to the structure, eight braces must be installed in the corners of the bath, and intermediate racks should be placed along the perimeter of the walls. After installation, the entire frame is sheathed: from the outside - with slabs, edged boards, block-houses, and from the inside, the walls of the mobile bath are sheathed with wooden clapboard. Between them lay insulation and waterproofing.

Vapor protection is used to protect the heat-insulating material from moisture. It is important to remember: when the insulation gets wet, the bath room will be filled with an unpleasant odor during soaring. A wet heater stops working. Aluminum foil, glassine, polyethylene are used as a vapor barrier material. They are laid with an overlap, and the joints are glued with metallized tape.

For the construction of the bath roof, boards of 150x150 mm are taken. They are placed on the edge and fastened together from above with a ridge beam. The height of the roof is 40 cm. The crate is laid down from the ridge. Ondulin, corrugated board, metal tiles and other materials can be used as roofing.

For the construction of the ceiling of the bath, a lining made of wood is taken. Do not use wood from coniferous trees, as when they are heated, resin is released, which can be harmful to health. It is also forbidden to sheathe the ceiling of a mobile bath with sheets of fiberboard and chipboard: at high temperatures and high humidity, they evaporate toxic substances.

Natural materials are not used to insulate the bath ceiling. For these purposes, it is better to use mineral wool.

The floor in the mobile steam room is arranged in the following order:

  1. A draft floor is mounted with a slope to the drain.
  2. Insulation with waterproofing is laid.
  3. A finishing floor is being constructed from hardwood.
  4. The drain site is equipped with a siphon.

In the bath, it is very important to provide for the drainage of water. Since the volume of water used is small, it is possible to equip a drainage sewer. To do this, it is necessary to dig a trench for water drainage, into which a pipe is laid that goes into a well with crushed stone, gravel and sand at the bottom. But most often they make pouring floors, where water flows directly to the ground.

The device of the furnace and other elements of the bath

In a mobile steam room, a small stove with a tank for heating water is used. It is better that the tank is located either on the side of the heater or above it. The structure must be equipped with a tap for draining water. On the floor, in the place where it will stand, it is necessary to lay a steel sheet, and under it - asbestos material. The walls near the stove should also be protected from fire with protective materials: basalt or isolon. After installing the furnace, a chimney is installed in compliance with fire safety rules. To save bath space, the stove can be positioned so that it can be heated from the street.

Good ventilation in a mobile steam room largely affects not only the comfort of people who will visit the steam room, but also their safety. Moreover, the safety of the bath itself depends on its work. If the room is not ventilated, there will be such a problem as condensation and the reproduction of the fungus. In order to prevent such a development of events, it is necessary to make a high-quality ventilation system in the mobile steam room. For its organization, two holes are required. They are called supply (or input) and exhaust (output) channels. Ventilation works due to the difference in air pressure in the steam room and the location of the vents.

Steam room ventilation

Do not forget to conduct electrical wiring with a cross section of 2.5 squares in the mobile steam room. It is necessary to put lamps made of refractory material that can withstand temperatures of 120-150 degrees. Be sure to install double-leaf windows and a wooden door that opens outward. Doors are made of bars 30x40 mm, which are sheathed on the outside and inside with clapboard. Also in the bath you need to install shelves. They are built in the same order: first, a support frame is mounted from a strong beam, after which boards are nailed to the supports.

In the end, you will only have to complete your mobile building with various kinds of accessories, namely: brooms; wooden mug for adding water; buckets; various kinds of wooden gratings, etc.

Basics of operating a mobile bath

After mounting the structure, it must be heated at a temperature of at least 60 degrees for about four hours. During the operation of the steam room, you must adhere to the following rules.

  1. Use only dry hardwood firewood to fire the stove.
  2. Always keep the door closed to avoid sparks. The draft force of the stove should be regulated by opening the ash pan, while remembering that excessive draft will cause the appliance to heat up red-hot, which will shorten its service life.
  3. Using the oven with an empty water tank may result in undesirable results.
  4. After the end of the furnace, it is necessary to drain the water from the tank.
  5. The chimney must not be allowed to heat up red hot.
  6. Ventilate the bath after each fire.
  7. Twice a year, treat the wooden elements of the steam room with special compounds.
  8. The stove must not be fired with flammable liquids.

You need to know that during the operation of the mobile steam room, the trailer with the bath must be unhooked from the car and installed on supports. This measure will allow the structure not to roll over.

Mobile steam room is distinguished by its simplicity. You can not only install it on your site, but also take it with you on vacation: for example, fishing. It will allow you to have a good rest and improve your well-being. Having made a mobile steam room with your own hands, you will always be proud of such a building.

Not everyone can independently build a bathhouse on their site. We need not only building materials, but also special knowledge and skills. In addition, the construction costs a lot of money, which is not always possible to allocate from the personal budget. This problem can be solved by a mobile bath, which can be installed on any site.

What are mobile baths?

Camping steam rooms have been around for a long time. Our ancestors used a stretched dense fabric, and instead of an oven and stones, they used cannonballs red-hot on a fire.

A modern mobile bath works on similar principles, but now you do not need to build it from improvised means. Today, there are high-tech options that can be used not only in the country, but also in any hike, fishing, hunting.

Different companies produce mobile baths on different bases. You can install a block container from a block house with a timber or log finish or from profiled metal sheets with a polymer coating. Also, a mobile bath can be made from a bar of coniferous varieties.

To finish the steam room can be used:

  • timber lined with clapboard;
  • timber profiled under the "block house";
  • planed beam.

Facing, roofing, layout and capacity can be very different depending on the wishes of the customer. Turnkey mobile bath is collected depending on the complexity in a very short period - from an hour to one day.

You can install such a mobile bath both on the base and on the wheelbase.

Mobiba mobile bath

But the title of the real mobile bath can only be worn by a mobiba. She does not need separate trailers, you can transport the steam room in an ordinary car. This fully functional mini bath is a polyester tent. The frame of the steam room consists of duralumin tubes. The wood stove is made of stainless steel, despite its modest size, it is quite powerful and equipped with a spark arrestor.

When used, the mobile mobiba bath has all the advantages of a conventional bath, the temperature and humidity have the same values as in a stationary steam room. Supply ventilation continuously supplies the room with the necessary oxygen. Special doors will allow you to keep warm when entering and exiting the mobiba.

The compact stove has a high efficiency, the firewood in it burns out efficiently and without soot. The fabric of the awning perfectly retains heat, so you can bathe even at a frost of -20 degrees.

Mobiba is assembled very quickly, literally within a few minutes, without the use of specific knowledge and with a minimum of tools. If you want to bathe anywhere - in the country, in the forest, on the lake - your choice is a mobile bath. The price of this amazing device is approximately from 20 to 100 thousand rubles.

Mobiba is much more durable than conventional tourist tents.

  1. A polyester awning protects from the sun and moisture.
  2. Power frames, upper and lower, are fastened with longitudinal stringers and transverse frames.
  3. The frame, made of D16T aircraft metal, makes the structure durable, rigid, and elastic.
  4. The walls of the frame tubes are 3 times thicker than in traditional tents, and are 1.5 millimeters.

There are several complete sets of mobibs with different capacities. The lightest MB5 package weighs about 22 kg, you can carry it in just two bags. The price of this baby is only 25 thousand rubles. And the largest insulated mobiba MB542 will already cost 90 thousand.

Let's talk about the differences between a mobiba and a stationary steam room. We will not dwell on the price in detail, of course, mobiba is much cheaper than a regular wooden bath.

Advantages

Flaws

  1. In the mobib, of course, there is no interior decoration, wooden panels and shelves.
  2. Mobibu needs to be assembled and disassembled, which is time consuming. But if you install a steam room in the country, then you can use it all season as a stationary one.
  3. A wooden bath retains heat longer, but mobiba warms up much faster.

Common misconceptions

  • Mobiba is too small. The size of the mobiba is 2x2 meters without a dressing room, and the height is 190 cm. This is quite enough to comfortably accommodate several people.
  • "It's not hot in the mobib." With proper use, steam is no worse than in a stationary bath. The temperature in winter reaches 90 degrees, and in summer - up to 120. The quality of firewood, stones, the intensity of heating and thermal insulation of the floor in winter are important.
  • "There is no gender." The bottom in the mobib is not provided by the design, since the water must go into the soil. In professional and army tents, the bottom is also missing. If the bottom is sewn on, then it is very difficult to shake out the dirt that has got out of it, and when water gets in, it becomes slippery.

Who is mobiba suitable for?

Mobiba is useful for outdoor enthusiasts, fishermen, hunters, tourists, summer residents, travelers and all those who like to take a steam bath.

Mobile steam rooms are increasingly gaining the trust of consumers and will soon become the same indispensable attribute of outdoor recreation as a fishing rod and barbecue.

What advantages does the mobiba give to its owner?

Good day!

____________________________________

My husband and I love to take a steam bath. We went almost every weekend to a private bathhouse. It came out hard. For an hour you need to pay 700-800 rubles. Hours, of course, are not enough for us ..

I had to think about whether to buy / build our own? Let it be small. Break a bunch of information on the Internet, came to the conclusion, we must take it! It was before the New Year 2015, around November. Found the site of the company "MSK", which specializes in the production of turnkey finished products ranging from dog kennels to country cottages. Production is in Voronezh. The company delivers its products even abroad.

______________________________________

We have a small plot outside the city with a village house. It was decided to put a bath there.

For a family of four, we have chosen the best option for a bathhouse in the size 4 x 2.5 x 2.75 m. It is divided into two zones: the entrance-cloakroom and the steam room itself.

On the manufacturer's website, this design is called MOBILE BATH. What does it mean? This means that you only need to prepare a place for a bath, pour the foundation and wait)) At the appointed time READY the bath is brought and put into place with the help of a manipulator. You just need to supply electricity. All! You can go steam! And if you want to move or sell the land, then you can easily take the bathhouse with you with the same Makar. Dimensions MOBILE baths are specially designed so that it can easily fit into the body of a standard Kamaz.

It took exactly a month to make our bathhouse. In December, our MOBILE BATH)) It cost us 120,000 rubles. For a year now we have been steaming in our own bathhouse, which we are very happy about!

The bath is made of a steel framework. Walls, floors and roofs are insulated with basalt fiber. Vapor waterproofing of walls and roofs. The interior finishing of the steam room is made of prefabricated aspen lining on foil.

The flow of water in the steam room is carried out through the floor. The door to the steam room is also made of aspen.

In the steam room, along the entire width of the bath, there are two aspen shelves, on which an adult man can easily lie down to his full height.

Furnace in the factory steam room "Vesuvius"

with output to the dressing room:

Special stones for the stove were bought separately in the "Everything for baths and saunas" store. It took three boxes. The price of one is about 200 rubles.

The wiring is complete. The shades are waterproof.

In the dressing room there are two sockets for 220:

Appearance of the vestibule:

The vestibule is, of course, small. But if you bathe in the summer, this is not a problem. It's still nice to go out and sit outside. Enough space for two adults. If the family is large, the manufacturer has more spacious options.

The advantage of the small size of the bath is its fast heating. In the most severe frosts, the steam room is ready in just 1.5 hours. For me, a comfortable temperature is 80-90 degrees, no more with a humidity of about 20%.

Another advantage of a frame bath over a log house is that such baths do not shrink. The log house needs to be given time to stand, and then to carry out interior decoration. There is no such problem here.

As I already said, the bathhouse has already served us faithfully for a whole year. We are very pleased with this purchase! Almost every weekend we go to take a steam bath in OUR small mobile bathhouse And we teach children. Bath is health. As soon as I feel that I am starting to get sick, I immediately go to the bathhouse. And everything passes!

Thank you for stopping by

Recently, transportable baths made of timber are gaining more and more popularity. In another way, they are also called mobile baths. If in our country they appeared not so long ago, then in Europe they have already faded into the background. For Europeans, this is nothing new. As for construction, there are some peculiarities here.

Transportable baths are low cost and easy to move, and it takes very little time to assemble them.

Advantages of transportable baths

There are quite a few advantages of such buildings, starting with mobility and ending with simplicity and relative cheapness. Mobility is in vogue today, and this also applies to buildings. Now everyone is trying to make or buy ready-made transportable houses, apiaries with houses made of timber, and so on. Therefore, a mobile bath made of timber is suitable not only for rural areas, but also for the city. Transportation houses are used in many cases. For example, in the construction of entertainment centers, hotels, houses. They can be quickly erected and set up on the construction site for workers, and as the job expands, they can be easily moved.

Another plus is the benefit from such baths during the resort time. If the city is located near the sea, such a bathhouse can be built on the beach or nearby. If it is built from bricks or other building materials, this will require high costs, time and finances, since the sandy terrain requires the use of materials such as concrete, metal structures, and so on. If this is a mountainous area, then considerable construction costs will also be required. From a bar, you can build a structure quickly and inexpensively. It is perfect for people who like to go out into nature and live there during their holidays. Now more and more people are starting to choose outdoor recreation. If earlier everyone tried to leave or fly to the sea or abroad, now the majority seeks to live “alone with nature”. In this case, a mobile bath is ideal. After resting, it can be transported back to the country.

As for rural areas, such baths can be used by beekeepers who build mobile mini-towns in plantings (forests), because it will not only have a steam room, but also other necessary rooms, and this is always comfort and coziness. You can build it at home in the yard, having previously built a concrete foundation.

Disadvantages of mobile baths

There are few drawbacks to such baths, and with proper care they are minimized.

In this case, correct seasonal treatment with various antiseptics and antifungal drugs is necessary.

Because if you do not perform these procedures, then the service life of such buildings will be reduced to a minimum (1 - 2 seasons). As for their use in rural areas, weather conditions (for example, wind) must be taken into account. If the bath is used in an apiary, with a strong side wind it can collapse.

Structures made of concrete or metal are more resistant to high humidity or wind. If the area in which the bath is located will be exposed to strong winds, then it is advisable to put the building in a landing and attach it to the ground with additional struts. If it stands where heavy precipitation occurs, then you need to clean the building from snow in a timely manner. The distance to the snow layer from the bath should be at least 70 cm, since the condensate from the snow will settle on the tree. It is worth noting that this is where the shortcomings end.

What is profiled timber

Profiled timber is considered one of the best building materials. In Europe, it belongs to the elite and environmentally friendly materials. Structures made from such timber have a beautiful and attractive appearance, they have a smooth surface, since the timber can be polished and varnished. And most importantly: buildings made of this material have good heat and sound insulation properties. The difference between a rounded log and a profiled beam is that the walls from the latter are 30% thinner, due to which it is possible to increase the internal dimensions of the rooms.

Construction technology

The first thing to start with is to decide on finances. Based on the budget, you need to calculate the size of the bath and the cost of its internal arrangement. If you want to install a toilet, then you need to consider the cost of additional materials for plumbing, drain drainage, for the toilet bowl and its accessories. If the design is complicated by the installation of a shower cabin, then this must also be taken into account. In addition, you need to think about where to place the cabin in the building itself. If the bath is built for a long period of use, then when buying fittings, pipes, electrical appliances (if necessary), you should choose more expensive and high-quality items.

You also need to decide on the material (timber, boards, slats), because this is the most important element in the construction of a bath. Both service life and comfort and coziness will depend on it. This includes quality wood. It is best to use oak, acacia or maple. However, it is still better to give preference to oak, and it is desirable that it be initially treated with an antiseptic. “Aged” oak is stronger than freshly sawn oak in its characteristics. You can also use willow, but such buildings will not last long.

If you need to make sure that the bath can be moved easily, then it should be built initially on a platform with wheels and stands. However, if the bath is to be used in an apiary, then there is no need for wheels, since it can be installed immediately on the platform with the house. When taking the apiary to the forest or planting, such a bath can be removed with a loader and placed in any other place. The next step is to build the bath itself.

The first thing to do is to build a frame or platform for the bath. It all depends on the imagination, the availability of material and the frequency of use of the bath. If it will need to be moved frequently, then the platform should be constructed from a metal base, including if wheels are used.

It is best to install a channel on the base, be sure to weld it. Install footpegs and axles (if wheels are used). The footboards will serve to install the bath on the ground. After its movement, the wheels are removed and the bath is placed on the steps, which are best made adjustable.

The welded platform must be cleaned of dirt if there is rust. In addition, it is worth cleaning the welds, degreasing, applying a primer and painting. If you do not follow these procedures and put the bath itself on a rusty platform, then the metal will oxidize and rust over time, therefore, bacteria and fungi will develop. They, in turn, will spread to the tree, which will lead to rapid deterioration. Therefore, treatment with antifungal agents must be performed.

On the constructed platform, you need to install the base of the bath, which includes plumbing communications. If there is a toilet and a shower, then the stacks need to be made separate. The toilet bowl must be separated from the shower. You can use stack tanks, especially for the toilet. At the bottom of the platform, you can install a tank and empty it in a separate place as it fills up.

Pipes and other water pipes must be attached to the structure with rubber gaskets and brackets, since during the operation of the bath all elements can expand in size, which can lead to breakage of the water pipe. Next, a platform is made, that is, a wooden cover made of timber at least 10 × 10 cm in size with holes for drains and water pipes. The entire timber must be well saturated with antiseptics and other means.

After the base is made, the lower harness is assembled on it. The technology of the lower strapping is the same as in the construction of a house from a bar. Wall corners are installed on the lower trim, which it is desirable to strengthen with additional rails. They have a top strap on them.

After that, it is necessary to calculate the bath rooms. Basically, such buildings consist of three rooms: a bathhouse, a shower cabin (toilet) and a dressing room. The dressing room is also built at will. Then inter-wall openings are placed, attached to the upper harness. When these points are completed, you can proceed to the roof.

It is worth deciding what the roof will be: a sloping type or a ridge. If the first option, then beams are laid on the upper trim, and boards are attached to them. The next layer is nailed slats at a distance of 3 - 5 cm. Next, lay the roofing material and slate. For transportable baths, it is better to use metal corrugated board, since it is lighter than slate. For mobility, this will only be a plus. If the roof is a ridge, then a ridge support is installed on the upper trim, then racks and the ridge itself is already placed on top, and beams with boards (or battens) are attached to it. Further, the procedure is carried out similarly to the installation of a conventional roof: laying roofing material and corrugated board.

After the construction of the roof, the construction of the walls and their cladding begins. Walls should be made taking into account windows. However, in the bath itself they can not be provided. If windows are still installed, then always with good thermal protection. The walls are also built from timber, screwed to the wall corners. After that, the timber is sheathed with clapboard, polished or simply painted or varnished.

The final stage is the interior decoration and arrangement of the bath, shower room with toilet and the dressing room itself. It is important to follow fire and electrical safety precautions.

The interior decoration of the bath is the most important and responsible business. It is advisable to sheathe the inner walls with lime boards or slats. Instead of linden, you can use a pear, cherry or apple tree. Also, wisely, you need to approach the installation of the furnace, which can be of two types: stone (it is also wood-burning) or electric (steamer). It all depends on the desire of the owner, however, as practice shows, it is better to give preference to the first option.

As for the shower cabin, there are many options. It is best to use cheap and practical, without any massages and steam rooms. The dressing room can be arranged in any way. Usually a small table, chairs, a wardrobe with bath accessories, as well as other necessary things (robe, slippers) are installed in it.

The most important thing in construction is the observance of fire safety. If light and sockets are provided, as well as the shower cabin is powered by electricity, then it is important to observe electrical safety. Wiring and all circuits must be properly wired. It is better if the bath room itself is lined with linden or fruit wood from the inside: this will add comfort and coziness, and the smell will soothe and relax. It is best to use a stone stove and heat it with wood. In this case, it is recommended to use birch or oak. It is better to choose a stove with the possibility of installing stones. You can pour water on them, which will add temperature.

If an electric generator is used, then it cannot be installed in the bath itself. It must be started no closer than 5 meters from the bath itself. And it is better to direct the exit of exhaust gases from the bath, as the tree can be saturated with burnt gasoline or diesel fuel. The most important thing in construction is the thorough and high-quality impregnation and treatment of wood with various antiseptics and anti-fungal mixtures. This will extend the life of the bath.
