The main control element of the boiler is an electronic board that controls the entire operation of the apparatus. The microprocessor of the electronic board collects and processes signals from control and safety sensors. All information about the state of the device is displayed on the LCD display in real time. All boiler control is carried out from the control panel. If a remote control is connected to the boiler, then the control is carried out from it, the control panel buttons are not active.

In the center of the control panel of the BaltGaz Turbo boiler there is a liquid crystal display that displays, during normal operation of the boiler, the temperature in the currently active mode (when operating in heating mode - the temperature of the water in the heating system at the outlet of the boiler, when operating in HWC mode - the temperature of the B C at the outlet of the boiler). In the event of a malfunction, an error code is displayed instead of the temperature value.

    BALTGAZ TURBO operating modes

    The boiler can operate in the following modes:

  1. Standby mode;
  2. summer mode;
  3. winter mode.

When the boiler is connected to the power supply, it automatically enters the operating mode in which it was at the time of disconnection from the network.

Standby mode:

The symbol is shown on the display while waiting for user commands. The boiler does not work, but it is still possible to turn on the anti-freeze function.

Summer mode:

In the "summer" mode, the boiler works only on the DHW system. The boiler ignores the signals of the room thermostat and the temperature sensor of the heating circuit. When operating in this mode, the display shows a flashing symbol of the current mode and the current temperature. Temperature control range hot water from +30 C to +60 C.

Winter mode:

In the "winter" mode, the boiler works both for heating and for DHW. When operating in this mode, the display shows a flashing symbol of the current mode and the current temperature. The DHW request is prioritized for the heating request.

ATTENTION!

The ability to maintain the set temperature in the HWC mode is limited by the minimum heat output of the boiler. Therefore, at an elevated water temperature at the inlet to the HW C circuit (in summer time) and its low consumption, the temperature of the water at the outlet of the DHW circuit can significantly exceed the set one.

Additional features of BALTGAZ TURBO 24:

The boiler is endowed additional features, which can be used in certain operating modes. These features provide additional safety and ease of operation and maintenance of the boiler.

Anti-freeze function:

The anti-freeze function is the boiler's built-in anti-freeze protection system. When the water temperature in the heating system drops below +7 °C, the pump turns on and when it rises above +7 °C, it turns off. If the temperature drops below +4 °C, the burner ignites, the boiler starts to operate at minimum power until the temperature reaches +25 °C.

This mode is activated automatically if the following conditions are met:

  1. the boiler is connected to the mains and to the gas supply line;
  2. the boiler is not in a blocked state due to a malfunction;
  3. the pressure in the heating system corresponds to the set parameters.

Heat exchanger frost test function:

The heat exchanger freeze check function prevents emergency when the boiler is switched on, when the heating circuit is possibly frozen (for example, after a long power outage). When the water temperature in the heating system is less than or equal to +3 °C, the pump is switched on for 3 minutes. If after 3 minutes of operation the temperature reaches +4 °C, the boiler will return to normal operation. If after 3 minutes of operation the temperature does not reach + 4 °C, the operation of the wall-mounted unit will be blocked.

Anti-lock function:

The anti-blocking function of the pump prevents blocking of the pump shaft during long periods of inactivity. This function only works in standby mode. Once a day, the pump starts for 15 seconds. Boiler operation in heating mode with an external (outdoor) temperature sensor.

For optimum regulation of the water temperature in the heating circuit, depending on the outside temperature, it is recommended to use an external (outdoor) temperature sensor. The board automatically recognizes the presence of an external sensor, provided that parameter P-1 is set to “1”. The heating water temperature is corrected according to the outside temperature, the room temperature and the heat dissipation factor (ch), which is set in parameter P-2. The display shows the desired room temperature.

Regularly, especially before the start of the heating season, clean the water filters of the heating system and HWC.

  1. The DHW filter must also be cleaned when the water flow in the DHW line decreases;
