At the airport, tourists are waiting for transfers from travel agencies where they bought tickets. Buses run to the port of Phuket, located 32 km from the airport. Do you know what struck me about this island? I don't know how it happened, but our guide told us that he recommends swimming on the right side of the beach. And the left side is reserved for the Chinese. Are Chinese tourists so badly behaved that they are fenced off? This is not hard to believe, we ourselves have witnessed the unbearable upbringing of Chinese tourists. But, nevertheless, they are also people, even somehow it became a pity for them.

Funny picture. All nationalities swim in one part of the island, and only the Chinese in the other. A rope is stretched in the middle of the beach, as such a discreet but visible separator between "people and Chinese." The Chinese are not even brought to eat in places where they serve a buffet for other tourists. They also eat separately, in the same place where they bathe.

We were already somehow fed up with sunbathing and swimming, and we went to the hotel. It is not closely guarded and therefore any person from the street from the beach can get there.

We took advantage of this and spent half an hour in the blue pool.

Later it turned out that under the water all the time that we were swimming, Korean divers in scuba gear were sitting. We got scared, and then we laughed wildly to tears, because from afar we took them for a gurgling hot tub.

Then we walked past the houses. Bungalow, by the way, in excellent condition. Perhaps there was a repair recently or they are simply constantly looked after and not launched. So, it would be great to spend one or two days on a secluded paradise island surrounded by greenery, flowers and access to the sea!

Go to the Chinese

There were still two and a half hours left before sailing to Phuket, and Masha and I went on reconnaissance. See how the Chinese spend their time. Chinese tourists, as always, sit in the water right next to the shore, but in vests. What is their panic fear of drowning a meter from the shore, we do not understand. And why are they always wearing vests? Doesn't anyone really know how to swim? Or are they also intimidated by hotel guides? Discussing Chinese tourists with Masha, we passed by a lady in her 40s, who at that moment loudly salivated in her mouth and spat juicy on the sand like a drunken man.

On the Chinese part, we also did not find anything interesting. The sand here is dirty, especially at the end of the beach, they don’t even clean up the garbage there.

We came back, sat on the chairs and both fell asleep. We woke up before leaving. We were still waiting for our group for 45 minutes and finally sailed to Phuket.
