This must be taken into account when deciding to make a duplicate of the bride's bouquet.

How to make flowers step by step and collect them in a wedding bouquet

  1. One flower needs 25 petals. From a 2.5 cm wide pink ribbon, cut 25 strips 7 cm long.
  2. Take one strip, bend the right end at an angle of 90 degrees towards you. Top it with the left. The bottom ends must match. You should get a figure with a sharp end that resembles a pencil.
  3. Sew the bottom edges together with a few stitches. Fold the petals in the same way and continue stringing them on the same thread.
  4. Make 9 petals and cut the thread. Pull off all the petals and tie the beginning and end of the thread into a knot. A ring with a diameter of 1 cm should remain in the center. The first layer of the flower will turn out.
  5. The second layer is done in the same way, but the details are tightened more tightly.
  6. The top layer consists of 7 petals.
  7. For the leaves, cut a green ribbon 2.5 cm wide and 6 cm long - 3 parts.
  8. Fold the pieces on top of each other and cut out the leaf shape. Melt the cuts with a lighter. Fold the sheet in half and melt the middle a little too.
  9. Cut out a pink square 2.5x2.5 cm, melt the cuts and glue three layers of the flower, stamens and leaves to it.
  10. Make 15 pink and white flowers.
  11. In the base with a diameter of 14.5 cm, cut a recess for the cardboard leg from the flat side.
  12. Tape the entire hemisphere with green tape 1.2 cm wide.
  13. Close the lower end of the cardboard leg with a green square 5x5 cm. Tape the entire leg with green tape 1.2 cm.
  14. Glue the leg to the foam base.
  15. Glue the flowers on the bouquet, starting from the center.
  16. From a 5 cm wide green ribbon, cut 21 cm strips (8 pieces), fold them in half and glue the ends. Cut a 4 cm wide lace ribbon into 10 cm strips and glue on top of the strips.
  17. Glue these strips on the bottom of the bouquet so that only the decorative ends are visible from above.

You can decorate the "leg" with lace and beads.

Such bouquets can be made by hand from a wide variety of materials and fabrics. It can be felt, satin ribbons, foamiran, organza, polymer clay, beads, beads, and so on.

Artificial flower arrangements are often used to decorate various holidays, as well as a wedding bouquet for the bride and groom's boutonniere. They will never wither and will remain as a memorable decoration and a symbol of celebration.

Do-it-yourself bouquet of ribbons

A bouquet of ribbons for a wedding with your own hands looks beautiful. The composition can be decorated with beads, rhinestones, lace, pearls, butterflies and other decorative elements.

The basis of the bouquet made of artificial materials is made in the form of a classic flower porter for real flowers, which looks like a microphone. It consists of a handle and a fixed rounded sponge, which is soaked in water or a special solution. Flowers are inserted into the sponge where they can stay fresh for a long time.

You can easily make such a basis for flowers from ribbons with your own hands. It will also have a handle and a rounded base to which artificial flowers will be attached.

Most often, roses are used for wedding bouquets, which you can easily make yourself. Finished flowers are glued to the frame in the form of a hemisphere.

They can be done using several techniques, each master chooses a method convenient for himself.

For the manufacture you will need the following materials:

You can also use floristic foam or a dense ball of paper or newspaper made by yourself, securely tied with a rope. In craft stores, you can find foam balls and hemispheres of various sizes that are convenient to use.

Step-by-step instruction

If there is no ready-made foam ball, then you can make the basis for attaching flowers yourself. This will require:

  • paper or newspaper.
  • Twine or thick thread.
  • Glue gun.
  1. From paper or newspaper, you need to roll a tight ball with a diameter of 10 centimeters. Then it should be wrapped with a dense thread or twine. It is necessary to ensure that the craft does not lose its spherical shape.
  2. Then in the ball you need to make a hole for the handle of the future bouquet. You need to pour glue into it and insert a cardboard tube from food foil, a wooden stick or a cylinder made of cardboard. To make a cardboard pen, roll it into a thin cylinder. It turned out a blank for the future wedding bouquet.
  3. Then the entire base must be decorated. It is advisable to completely wrap both the holder and the round base with a white or light-colored cloth. You can also use a wide satin ribbon for this.
  4. The fabric or tape must be glued onto the base with an overlap. In this case, you need to make small folds closer to the center for beauty.

Portbouquet holder is decorated according to taste and chosen style. After it is ready, you can glue the prepared flowers from the ribbons. The composition can be supplemented with any decorative elements.

Bouquet-doubler from satin

Today, two bouquets are often made for a wedding. One is made from natural flowers, and the second from satin ribbons or other material. It is used as a backup. This is done so that the bride can then throw a live bouquet to unmarried girlfriends, and leave the artificial one for herself as a reminder of the most important and solemn day in her life.

Quite often, both bouquets are made of artificial materials. One is considered the main one and is intended for the bride, the other is then thrown to the bridesmaids. Often an additional bouquet is an exact reduced copy of the main one.

A few tips for creating a duplicate:

  • You can decorate the base of the bouquet with satin loops. To do this, cut strips of fabric and glue opposite ends to make a loop. Then you need to fix the decor elements along the diameter of the base circle.
  • Single beads look beautiful in the center of roses, and their scattering is best placed between the flowers.
  • Flower buds are best made the same size. This will help the bouquet to be more beautiful and elegant.

The method of creating this composition is exactly the same as that of the main bouquet. The difference can only be in the details. For example, a bride's bouquet may have a frill, and vice versa.

Do-it-yourself ribbon rose options

Artificial roses look very advantageous in a bouquet.

Large ribbon roses

To make large roses you will need:

The ribbon needs to be folded in half lengthwise, shiny side up. With threads, you need to bait it along the entire length, along the edges - a little at an angle. Then it should be collected and twisted the tape so that a bud is obtained. It must be secured with threads at the base.

Small size flowers

To make these roses you will need:

  • A narrow ribbon 1-2 cm wide, 10-20 cm long.
  • Needle and thread.

First you need to wrap the beginning of the tape diagonally so that you get a right angle. You should make three full turns and flash it with a thread. Then, without cutting anything, you need to bend the next part of the tape diagonally, wrap the bud in it. This action should be continued until the tape ends. At the end, you need to firmly stitch the flower so that it does not fall apart.

Elegant medium sized roses

The most beautiful and original roses can be made in this way. It provides for "building up" and twisting the tape onto a convex base.

  • Rigid fabric.
  • Thread and needle.

To make roses in this way, you will need a round base, which can be cut from burlap, felt, or hard fabric.

From these volumetric squares, a flower bud will begin to appear. The more of them, the more voluminous it turns out.

Flowers from leftover tape

Such a flower can be made from the remains, having a length of about ten centimeters. Roses look beautiful using different shades of material.

  • Pins.
  • Thread and needle.
  • Creating a button.

First you need to make a button.

  1. To do this, bend the end of the tape at a right angle. Then the corner needs to be bent again.
  2. Now you need to secure the tape with a pin, and then with a thread.
  3. Then repeat the previous steps with the other end of the tape.

Making petals.

  1. For this procedure, you will need a piece of tape, the ends of which should be bent at a right angle.
  2. Then you need to fasten everything with pins and then sweep and pull the thread a little.

Flower assembly.

  1. The petal is attached to the bud with a pin.
  2. It should be wrapped around the bud and sewn to the core.

Then the procedure is repeated with all the other petals. Now it remains to securely fix the base of the rose.

Candy has always been considered a good gift. But an original and unusually designed gift of sweets will surely surprise, please and be remembered for a long time.

For manufacturing you will need:

Progress:

  1. First you need to divide the wire into pieces of the same size, they will be the stems of future flowers.
  2. Then you should cut the narrow tape into segments about 25 cm long.
  3. Now you need to make blanks from corrugated paper for rose petals measuring 18 by 20 cm. You need to make as many blanks as you plan to make flowers. About a quarter of the workpiece should be cut off, you get a small piece, as well as another larger one in the shape of an inverted letter "G".
  4. A rectangle should be placed on the letter "G", on which a candy is placed on top. Then you need to wrap the candy in paper with a tube to make a bud.
  5. Then you need to carefully attach the wire to the resulting bud so as not to damage the candy. To do this, the wire is carefully inserted and the tip of the paper is twisted, on which the teip tape should be wound for fixing.
  6. The bud should be tied with a thin ribbon approximately in the middle or closer to the stem. Now the flower can be made blooming.
  7. To do this, beautifully unscrew the paper to the place where the ribbon is. If you stretch it a little along the edge, you get a beautiful line of petals. Thus, you need to make the required number of flowers.

Then, three flowers and sprigs of decorative greenery are required to be attached to the decorative skewer using tape tape. From the resulting branches, you need to form one large one, wrapping them from top to bottom. It remains only to pack the bouquet and decorate with a bow.

It is a good alternative to the traditional bouquet of flowers. The important thing is that such a composition will not fade and will remind you of the brightest moments of life for many years. A bouquet of sweets will serve as a wonderful and unusual gift for any occasion.

The bride's bouquet is an invariable attribute of any wedding ceremony. It is hard to imagine a beautiful bride without a bouquet in her hands... But what about unmarried bridesmaids who dream of catching this attribute at the end of the wedding in order to also experience the happiness of connecting with their loved one.

And if in the old days bouquets were mostly ordinary combinations of natural flowers, in recent years they have become a real masterpiece of decorative art.

Let's start creating a bouquet

You can create a miracle from ribbons and artificial flowers with your own hands, and decorate any wedding with this creation by applying your skills in the field of needlework.

To make an artificial bridal bouquet with your own hands, you should take a responsible approach to the creative process. First you need to decide what to use as the basis of the future bouquet. You can, of course, use ready-made "models" - the so-called "microphones" are very suitable for the basis of the bouquet.

But what if there is no way to purchase such attributes, or you don’t want to pay “extra” money.

An excellent basis for a bridal bouquet can be prepared with your own hands from what is literally in every home:

  • used, unnecessary CD;
  • pieces of foam rubber (height 6 cm);
  • white cardboard;
  • any white fabric
  • cardboard tube with a diameter of 3.5 cm and a length of 13 cm (in this master class, an old roller from a clothes cleaning device was used).

So let's get started! On the CD you need to glue the foam rubber (using a glue gun). It's good if you have this material in the right size. If not, then, as in this case, you need to glue several pieces of foam rubber.

If there is no foam rubber, then you can use mounting foam by applying the right amount to the CD.

The next step is to give the foam rubber (mounting foam) the desired shape. You can do this with a clerical knife or ordinary scissors, cutting off unnecessary. The shape of the bouquet is a hemisphere.

Now we make the handle of the bouquet. Don't be discouraged if you don't have the part you need, as shown in the photo. It can be replaced by gluing a similar one made of VERY thick cardboard (so that the handle of the bouquet does not crumple in the hands of the bride later).

The length of the handle is 13 cm, the diameter is 3.5 cm. The former roller from the clothes cleaner was very well suited in size and to the CD. We glue it in the center of the CD, also using a glue gun.

In order to avoid possible troubles with unsticking the handle of the bouquet during the ceremony, we will duplicate the fasteners with adhesive tape.

We close the hole at the bottom of the handle by picking up and gluing a white plastic cover of a suitable size. If there is no such detail, then you can hide the hole under a white cardboard circle.

Next, from any white fabric (silk was used in this MK), you need to cut a circle with a diameter of 23 cm and glue it to the hemisphere blank. Moreover, try to glue all over the hemisphere so that the flowers from the satin ribbon attached later do not hang only on the fabric, but tightly “sit” on the bouquet itself.

We tuck the fabric on the CD and also carefully glue it. We use an indispensable hot glue gun in our work.

Parts of the matter glued to the CD are skillfully hidden under a cardboard white circle. The size of the circle is the size of a CD with a pen hole cut out in the middle. We glue the cardboard on hot glue.

The base of the bouquet is ready!

The second stage of creating a bouquet - flowers and decorations

To continue work, you need to prepare the following materials and tools:

  • white tulle;
  • white satin ribbon of different widths (5, 3.5; 2.5; 1.25 cm);
  • tea rose satin ribbon (width 5 cm and 0.3 cm);
  • white beads with a diameter of 0.5 cm - 10-12 pcs.;
  • glue gun;
  • scissors;
  • needle and sewing thread in white.

Let's start with decorating the handle. We glue the tape 2.5 cm wide in the area of \u200b\u200bthe cardboard on the CD, trying to hide the adhesive tape. And we continue to wrap the tape on the handle, glue the tip of the tape. You can play it safe and in some places in the middle of the handle, also “put the tape on the glue.

Now we will close the edge of the hemisphere with a white ribbon 1.25 cm wide, laying the ribbon in folds. You can sew on, or you can use the quick glue option.

To continue the work, we need roses of different sizes. You can buy ready-made ones, or you can do it yourself, using a large number of master classes offered on the Internet for their manufacture.

In order to create a rose, you need to take the minimum set:

  • satin ribbon of the desired color and width (in this MK, the width of the ribbon is 3.5 cm);
  • ordinary white sewing thread;
  • a needle;
  • scissors.

To prevent the end of the tape from blooming, you need to cut it at an angle of 45 degrees.

Twist a few turns of the tape from the right edge and secure with a thread and a needle. This will be the center of the rose.

Now the upper left end of the tape needs to be bent back and down.

Sew the "received petal" to the base of the future rose (the needle and thread must be inserted through all the tape layers). Try to pull the thread tight.

Repeat the previous step several times - as many as you want to get rose petals.

When forming a rose, make sure that the kinks of the ribbon do not fall on the same parts of the flower, otherwise the rose will be symmetrical or one-sided.

A rose is a flower that does not tolerate order. When you get a rose of the desired size, cut the ribbon, fasten it, and use scissors to remove the "tail" formed at the base of the rose. Do this carefully so as not to cut the threads that secure the coils of the rose.

A beautiful DIY satin ribbon rose is ready!

Now let's proceed to the most interesting and crucial moment - the collection of the actual bouquet itself.

In the upper part of the hemisphere in the middle we glue a cream-colored rose with a diameter of about 6 cm.

Now, around this central color, we will “plant” 7 white roses, 3-4 cm in diameter. Try to glue the flowers with minimal gaps between them.

The next tier of the bouquet is 5 flowers from a ribbon of the color of a tea rose. The diameters of these decorations are 4-5 cm. First, try to attach roses using tailor's pins in order to distribute them as evenly as possible in a circle.

Between these tea roses you will need to place roses framed with tulle. To do this, cut out strips of tulle 13 by 6 cm. Fold them in half lengthwise and, gathering along the edge, glue or sew to small white roses (diameter 2.5 cm).

In total, you need to make 5 such “blanks”.

Glue roses with tulle between tea roses.

It remains to make the last, lowest tier of the bouquet. It will be tulle "pounds" with small bows and beads in the middle.

For the “funnies”, we cut out 8 strips of tulle 23 cm long and 7 cm wide from tulle. Fold in half lengthwise and gather with a needle with a white thread. We glue the "pounds" on the last tier of the bouquet, after attaching them with tailor's pins to accurately fill all the voids. If in your case there are empty spaces, just add 1-2 pounds.

From a ribbon of the color of a tea rose (width 0.3 cm), you need to make small double bows and glue them in the middle of the “pounds”. On top of the bow we attach a white bead with a hot gun. We repeat all these steps for all the "pounds".

The last easy step remains. We cut off the tulle 70 cm long and 15 cm wide. Stepping back from one edge 5 cm, we lay a satin ribbon in the color of a tea rose (0.3 cm wide). We use a tape with a wide eye.

We tie the resulting “skirt” at the base of the bouquet with a ribbon, trying to evenly distribute all the folds.

In several places on the veil we glue white beads.

Man-made and extraordinarily beautiful artificial bridal bouquet is ready! Even the most complex compositions can be made with your own hands.

This day is special for her ... The girl becomes a wife, and her beloved becomes a husband. Everything must be perfect, especially the appearance of the bride. The bouquet plays an important role in creating the image, so many people want to arrange the original composition on their own.

How to make a wedding bouquet with your own hands from ribbons

Artificial flowers can also be incredibly beautiful and reflect the mood of the bride. A bouquet of ribbons for a wedding with your own hands will emphasize your individuality. To create it you will need (depending on the composition, there may be additions):

  • satin stripes;
  • foam ball, cut in half;
  • cardboard or wooden tube - a pen for creating a bridal bouquet from satin ribbons with your own hands;
  • thermal gun for gluing parts;
  • pins, threads, needles for fixing jewelry;
  • cone: a workpiece on which the handle is attached, and a hemisphere is superimposed on top;
  • stapler.

DIY roses from satin ribbons

An artificial composition often acts as an understudy - it is thrown to unmarried girlfriends. Do-it-yourself bouquet of satin ribbons is often made with roses. There are many ways to create, and all of them lead to excellent results. Method number 1:

  1. Take a strip 90 cm long and 6 cm wide.
  2. Fold it in half.
  3. Using a needle, live the thread along the length to connect the edges. Make small bevels at the corners.
  4. Tighten the thread: gathers form on the strip. Wrap the material to make a bud. The smaller the stitches, the larger the flower will be.
  5. Grab the core of the rose with thread or put it on glue so that the bud holds its shape.

Method number 2 (it turns out a wedding bouquet of ribbons with your own hands, very similar to natural):

  1. Cut satin strips about 12-15 cm long.
  2. From one end along the length, make a thread. Tighten the material to make an assembly.
  3. Take a knitting needle or a toothpick, fix the corner of the satin on it. The assembly should be at the bottom - it will become the base of the bud.
  4. Wrap the strip around the needle. The edges of the assembly should fit closely together, and the opposite side (half-opened rosebud) should be freer.
  5. Wrap a green satin ribbon (or sticky tape) around the knitting needle. Leave the toothpick as is. Grab only the bottom of the bud. Get a neat flower on the leg.

Method number 3:

  1. Make voluminous petals from pieces of satin (11x5 cm). They should be diamond shaped.
  2. Wind the first petal onto tweezers and glue. This will form the base of the bud.
  3. Glue the rest of the petals in a checkerboard pattern, forming a tight rose with your fingers.

Bridal bouquet of ribbons and brooches or beads

Forming a bridal bouquet from satin ribbons with your own hands is a painstaking task, but the effort is worth it. In the photo, the compositions look very stylish and original, but in life they are even more beautiful. Take note of the following method of making an understudy:

  1. Make roses any way you like.
  2. Cut a cardboard tube from food foil in half.
  3. Wrap the length of the tube with a satin strip (2.5 cm wide) and tie the ends at the top (3-4 cm should remain). On the sides, the future handle will be uncovered.
  4. Glue one end of the tube (where there are no free ends) with a strip (5 cm wide).
  5. Wrap a strip (2.5 cm) around the entire handle in a spiral. Coat some places with glue.
  6. A round base can be made from a CD. Fasten the ribbon with glue at the central circle and wind it so that there are no gaps.
  7. Insert the tails of the handle through the hole in the disk and glue them on the back side.
  8. Fix the hemisphere on top of the disk. Do-it-yourself bridal bouquet from satin ribbons is now at the stage of creating a frame. If you are worried about the reliability of fastening the hemisphere, at the step of forming the handle, insert a thick copper wire through it, having previously made holes with an awl, and bend the ends from the outside.
  9. It remains to decorate the base with roses, pearls, beads, rhinestones, butterflies. Some combine artificial flowers with artichokes - a do-it-yourself bride's wedding bouquet only benefits from this.

The method of creating the original composition practically does not differ from the above, the difference is only in the details. To make an original bouquet for the bride with your own hands, stock up on rolls of satin ribbon and auxiliary materials. You can also use tulle, ruffles, lace, etc. in compositions. A few tips for creating a double:

  • Decorate the pouch with satin loops. Cut strips from the material, glue the opposite ends to make a loop. Fix the decorative elements according to the diameter of the CD, you can alternate them with lace inserts.
  • Lay out the flowers on the base in random order - the same color diagonally, in a circle, the rest in a chaotic sequence. It's a matter of taste.
  • Single beads look beautiful in the center of roses, and their combination or brooches - between flowers.
  • Make the buds the same size: this is how a bridal bouquet made of satin ribbons with your own hands will look more elegant.

Do-it-yourself flowers from satin ribbons using the Kazan technique

Original bridal bouquet with ribbons and lace

The bridal bouquet is one of the most important and beautiful attributes of the celebration. Its handing over by the groom symbolizes the confirmation of the marriage proposal itself, which was made long before the wedding day. The bride does not let go of the flowers throughout the holiday, and then, according to tradition, throws it to her unmarried friends. However, not everyone wants to part with a floral work of art. To do this, you can make a small understudy bouquet of satin ribbons, repeating the original or contrasting with it.

Variety of ideas

There are many different materials for making flower arrangements: delicate lace, colored paper, polymer clay and many other options. However, satin ribbons have been and remain the most popular material for a long time. This is due to the fact that dense shiny fabric has many advantages.

  • The material is inexpensive, and at the same time it is durable and capable of not losing its appearance for decades.
  • Outwardly, the satin resembles natural silk, but it keeps its shape better, does not wrinkle and does not accumulate dust.
  • It goes well with various decorative elements, such as beads, rhinestones and embroidery. In addition, the tapes themselves can also be applied with a decorative ornament, for example, Arabic or Slavic patterns. Flowers from such ribbons will look very original.
  • Artificial flowers will not wither by the end of the holiday, even in the most severe frost or heat. They will not stain the bride's snow-white dress with pollen or juice and will not harm allergy sufferers.

From tapes You can make a large number of different colors. For example, classic roses or peonies, multi-colored gerberas, fluffy chrysanthemums and asters or laconic hyacinths will be in place. There are many different techniques for making ribbon wedding bouquets.

Kanzashi. Kanzashi-style bouquets are by far the most popular option for weddings today. This technique came from the east - in Japan, the hairstyles of noble women were decorated with such flowers. The petals of these artificial flowers are so neat that you want to touch them and examine each detail of the bouquet separately.

The execution technique itself is not too complicated, and even a beginner can handle it, but this work is long and very painstaking. Each petal is made from a separate piece of ribbon, and only after all the petals are ready, you can collect one flower. The edges of the petals can be either sharp and elongated, or rounded and even expanding towards the ends.

flat flowers. Such ribbon roses are perfect for a bouquet of topiary on a long thin stem. They are made from a long, solid ribbon, folded in a certain way and sewn onto a small backing of burlap, soft felt, or even cardboard. Such compositions of ribbons in pastel shades look very gentle and touching in the hands of the bride.

Lush flowers. Lush flowers without individual petals can be made with a single ribbon and thread with a needle. To do this, it is enough to fold the satin fabric along and sew it with long stitches along the edge. After that, you need to gently pull the free edge of the thread, collecting the tape with beautiful flounces and twisting it in a spiral. For greater structure, you can twist the tape along the axis - this will give the flower a greater density and create a unique pattern.

Melted petals. Bouquets of peonies collected with the help of melted pieces of satin ribbon look amazing. You can do this with a regular lighter, or with a candle flame or a gas stove. Ready-made petals are collected in a tight or blossoming bud and combined into one large composition. With a certain skill, you can collect artificial bouquets, which, even from a distance of two steps, cannot be distinguished from real ones. At the same time, such a bouquet can stand in a vase not for two days, but for several years.

Flowers from thin ribbons. From thin ribbons, the width of which does not exceed a centimeter, you can make lush chrysanthemums or asters. To do this, it is enough to wind a long ribbon around the fingers of the palm, tie it in the middle with a small thread or string and cut the loops with scissors. A fluffy ball, pressed on the sides by the same neighbors, looks very similar to garden flowers growing in summer cottages and gardens. With the right color combination with roses or peonies from large ribbons, even such simple bouquets will become a nice decoration for the celebration.

Color and texture

In order for a bouquet of artificial flowers to fit better into the format of the celebration, it is necessary to choose the right colors and size of the buds. And in order for the bouquet to match the bride's dress, it is necessary to take into account its texture. The more airy and lighter the outfit, the more delicate and miniature the flowers of the bouquet should be.

An excellent solution would be to make it in the shade of a dress or decorative elements. If you want to bring brightness to a monochrome outfit, then you need to select ribbons of the same color as the design of the entire event. Most often, 2-3 shades are chosen, in which they decorate the hall and decorate tables. If the color scheme of the bouquet coincides with them, then the whole composition will look more complete and thoughtful.

Most often, pastel and delicate colors are used for wedding decoration. The soloist, as usual, is white and all its shades. It dilutes the composition of blue, pink, lavender and pistachio. However, if desired, you can add bright accents in the form of red, purple or bright green. Perhaps, it is worth giving up only black, which is traditionally considered a shade of mourning, so it has no place at such a joyful event.

Some balance should be observed in the jewelry of the girl herself and her accessories. If the bride's dress and hair sparkle with pearls and stones, you should not decorate the bouquet with them either - it will look pretentious and overloaded. On the contrary, a laconic image is well emphasized by flowers with rhinestones and brooches. In addition, wedding stylists advise leaving elongated bouquets for girls, and older ladies opt for a spherical shape.

Necessary materials

Of course, each technique will require its own set of tools, as they differ in many ways. Nevertheless, there is a certain basic set, which cannot be dispensed with in any case.

  • Styrofoam ball or microphone with a floral sponge, which can be purchased at a flower shop. You can replace it with plastic, crumpled and glued newspapers or a thick rope rolled into a ball.
  • Thick cardboard for the pen. You can take a ready-made cardboard tube that is left over from foil or cling film after using it in the kitchen.
  • Satin ribbons of the required colors and patterns. It is best to take them with a margin to practice making buds. Atlas consumption for each of the techniques can vary greatly.
  • A glue gun that can be purchased at any craft store or ordered online.
  • Stapler, pins, needle, scissors.
  • Threads in the color of ribbons and contrasting shades.
  • Various decorative beads and stones.

To make peonies from melted ribbons or Japanese-style flowers, you will have to additionally install a candle or burner on which pieces of ribbons will melt. Before you start needlework, you should organize a clean free space. This is best done at a work table or counter so that you can leave the unfinished bouquet and return to assembling it a little later.

Step by step manufacturing

Before you start making a satin bouquet, you should study a few master classes on the technique that was chosen and practice making the flowers themselves. All other work will not take much time and is carried out in stages according to a small instruction.

Step 1. Making the base

First of all, a base is being prepared on which the buds and decor will be attached. If a ready-made ball made of plastic or foam is purchased, then it is simply connected to a long cardboard handle. If you need to make a ball yourself, then you can crumple up several sheets of newspaper and wrap them tightly with a rope. Such a homemade ball is also attached to a cardboard handle with a glue gun.

To hide the cardboard tube, wrap it with a satin ribbon and carefully glue the ends, wrapping them inside the tube. In order to hide the junction and the not too aesthetic bottom of the foam sphere, a lace or satin “skirt” is glued to the junction with the tube. Most often, it is made to match the color of the bouquet handle.

Step 2. Making flowers

The easiest way to make beautiful flowers is the voluminous bud technique. To do this, take a wide satin ribbon and fold it in half with the right side up. With a needle and thread, such a tape is sewn along the edge, after which it is tightened with large assemblies and folded into a small bud. To prevent such a bud from falling apart, the ribbons are sewn together at the base with several stitches.

Step 3. Fastening flowers

In order for the satin bouquet to be able to withstand all the active movements of the bride, her photo session, dance and, finally, the flight into the hands of her friends, the flowers must be well fixed on foam or a rope. To do this, a small safety pin is stuck into their core with a head color that matches the color of the tape. The sharp edge of the pin, coming out from the wrong side of the bud, is firmly and deeply stuck into the base. Additionally, the junction is processed with a glue gun. A high-quality bouquet will not fall apart in the hands of the bride and will delight her throughout the celebration.
