How does it look to the user?

On the page where you place the code, a dictation form will appear with dictation controls and a button Begin .

After checking the dictation, the user will receive a report with a detailed explanation of each mistake he made and links to academic rules and didactic materials.

What does it look like for a teacher?

To prepare dictations, a dictation constructor was created - a special environment where any teacher can create, dictate and mark up an electronic dictation.

The dictation module, or narration module, looks like this.

Next comes the markup of the dictation with spelling and punctograms. A philologist (or teacher) can set an erroneous spelling for each word in the dictation (for example, for the word look for - R O look for) and write a comment specifically for this error (for example, the spelling rule for prefixes times / grew). If this error is made, the writer (student) will be shown the comment associated with the error. The same is true for punctuation marks: for each punctuation mark (including a space), you can set options for its erroneous spelling (for example, skipping a comma). Moreover, for punctuation, you can set complex erroneous options immediately for a single fragment or the entire sentence.

The initial markup of the dictation occurs automatically: from the base of rules for auto-marking (which contains about a thousand different rules) and the base of individual words, with ready-made markup. Depending on the text of the dictation, automatic markup can immediately mark up to 30% of possible errors in the text, both spelling and punctuation.

It is also possible to add valid spellings of words or punctuation marks. To debug the dictation, it is possible to test the selected fragment.

After the dictation is written by a certain number of people, you can see the heat map of errors, which clearly shows which words which mistakes were made. You can also separately see which errors were not taken into account when marking up the dictation, that is, in which cases a detailed comment was not shown for an error. This helps to keep track of such incorrect spellings in dynamics and supplement the dictation with new types of errors.
