Rock ballads - a category of songs of rock bands, characterized by a slow sound. Among the bands that popularized rock ballads are Led Zeppelin and the Scorpions. On each album of these groups, there was always at least one chic ballad, which allowed them to expand their audience. Rolling Stone magazine could not ignore such a popular segment of world rock, so I decided to conduct a survey to determine best rock ballads. The voting, which took place during the week, gave so many options that instead of the usual top 10, it was decided to create a rating of the best ballads from 12 songs.
IN best rock ballads of all time The song by U2 With or Without You, recorded for the famous album The Joshua Tree, also hit.
Eleventh place was taken by the song of the legendary The Beatles - Hey, Jude, which is the longest composition of the group, lasting more than 7 minutes. Let the song be recorded in last years the work of the Beatles, but such a length is uncharacteristic for that time and for The Beatles. Two more songs of the Liverpool Four got into the rating.
